The family's unpreparedness in these tasks can increase the psychological and physical impacts experienced by its members. Therefore, strategies in disaster preparedness are important to reduce the impact. This study aims to explore strategies to improve family resilience in disaster mitigation. The number of interviews is 21 people, consisting of women and men with an average age of 45 years, who have different backgrounds. Including academians, business, community, government, and journalists. The results showed that the strategy to increase family resilience to disaster is based on 5 family tasks from Maglaya's theory, including that families must have a preparedness plan and knowledge about disaster management through education to families about the steps that must be taken before, during, and after a disaster is very helpful in increasing family resilience. The conclusion is that disaster training and simulation programs involving family members have proven effective in building confidence and necessary skills. This research can be concluded that family disaster preparedness depends on good knowledge and planning. Disaster nurses play an important role in education and training, which helps reduce psychological and physical impacts. Thus, community safety and well-being can be improved by exploring strategies to improve family resilience in disaster mitigation

Abstract

Introduction: Mental disorders are a serious health issue that can significantly affect a person's quality of life. One common symptom experienced by patients with mental disorders is auditory hallucination. Dhikr therapy is a non-pharmacological approach that can be used to help patients with auditory hallucinations. This case study aims to assist patients in reducing the level of auditory hallucinations using dhikr therapy. Methods: This research employed a case study with a descriptive-narrative method through a mental health nursing process approach involving one patient with auditory hallucinations at the Mental Health Service Unit of the Candipuro Community Health Center from June 11–13, 2024. The intervention included nursing actions that involved dhikr therapy conducted for three days with a duration of 10–20 minutes per session. Data analysis was performed by observing changes in the level of hallucinations before and after dhikr therapy. Results: The implementation of dhikr therapy for three days showed a reduction in auditory hallucinations and an improvement in sensory perception criteria. The patient rarely heard whispers, sensory distortions decreased, patient responses improved, and behaviors indicating the perception of hearing voices diminished. The AHRS questionnaire results indicated the effectiveness of dhikr therapy in reducing auditory hallucinations, with a final score of 17, categorizing it as moderate hallucination. Conclusions: Based on the results of this case study, it is hoped that nurses can provide dhikr therapy as a non-pharmacological treatment option for patients with mental disorders experiencing auditory hallucinations. This research is also expected to be developed further by applying dhikr therapy to multiple patients with similar cases for comparative analysis.

Abstract

Introduction:Indonesia sits on an active continental plate, surrounded by a series of very active volcanoes called the ring of fire. These conditions make Indonesia very vulnerable to disasters. Mount Semeru was observed to have experienced at least 57 eruptions or eruptions. The resilience possessed by adolescents can affect when the post-eruption disaster strikes. Methods:The strategy to determine the selection of studies that have been found, the author uses a protocol and evaluation uses the PRISMA Checklist and is adjusted to the purpose of this literature review. Searching for literature sources in this literature review uses several databases including PubMed and Google ScholarResults:Resilience is very important for adolescents in post-mountain eruption disaster situations, adolescents who have resilience can survive and never give up in difficult circumstances, adapt to these conditions, and can rise. Most of the adolescents in post-disaster areas have moderate levels of resilience as much as 64% and as high as 63%. This can occur due to several factors, namely individuals, families, and communities. In addition, gender can also affect a person's resilience. Men are more resilient than women. Conclusion:The existence of sources of support from internal and external as well as knowledge about adolescent disasters can optimize youth resilience after the Semeru eruption disaster.

Kata kunci: manajemen stres, remaja, hipnotik lima jari, Covid-19   Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on all sectors, both health, economically and socially across the globe. Adolescents are a group that is vulnerable to psychological problems such as stress due to the pandemic. Efforts and policies in dealing with the pandemic, such as limiting school gatherings and implementing online learning are stressful for adolescents. Five finger hypnosis is one of the nursing interventions that can be implemented to reduce stress, this therapy causes high relaxation, so it will reduce tension. This study aims to identify the relationship between five-finger hypnosis and adolescent stress levels. The method used in this study is a quasi experiment one group pre - post test with a sample of 30 adolescents chosen at random who meet the inclusion criteria for the age range of 12 to 19 years. Stress was measured using the Perceive Stress Scale instrument. The data was analyzed using a paired t-test correlation test, which revealed that five-finger hypnotic therapy had an effect on adolescent stress levels (Sig.2-tailed = 0.000, = 0.05). According to the findings of this study, five-finger hypnosis has a significant effect on stress reduction and can be used as an alternative nursing intervention in stress reduction. Abstract

One of the symptoms of cancer is the emergence of pain and anxiety related to each other, especially in patients who suffer from cancer. This can be caused by pain from cancer, examinations carried out and treatment that sufferers undergo. Anxiety can be caused by uncertainty about the prognosis of the disease, the effectiveness of treatment for recovery of the condition, which is often found in cancer patients, especially at an advanced stage. Anxiety management is provided through the main nursing interventions, namely progressive muscle relaxation techniques. The purpose of this study was to identify progressive muscle relaxation to reduce anxiety in cancer patients. The method used is a literature review in the form of a literature review obtained from Garuda Ristekbrin, PubMed, Google Scholar and Science Direct searches. After filtering, the author examines the contents of the article in accordance with the subject matter in accordance with the author's title. There were 10 journals selected for review by the authors, 6 of which used a quasi-experiment, 3 used a systematic review, and 1 used a randomized controlled trial. The results of statistical tests for the 10 journals selected, all journals showed a significant influence on the nursing intervention carried out, namely Progressive Muscle Relaxation therapy in reducing anxiety in cancer sufferers. It is hoped that this literature review will become a reference and reference for nursing interventions in reducing anxiety in cancer patients, one of which is progressive muscle relaxation therapy.
