Abstract

One of the topics taught in lower grades is the mastery of unit, tens, and hundreds concepts. However, many teachers face difficulties in delivering these concepts effectively, including at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi. Therefore, this study addresses this issue by employing flannel board media. With the use of flannel boards, students can effectively group unit, tens, and hundreds in their respective places. This research aims to enhance the understanding of number concepts among second-grade students at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi using flannel board media. Understanding number concepts is crucial as it forms the foundation for mathematics learning at the elementary level and influences students' ability to comprehend more complex mathematical operations in the future. Flannel board media was chosen for its ability to provide concrete visual and manipulative experiences, aligning with the cognitive development characteristics of students at this age. The implications of this study include the development of more effective and inclusive mathematics teaching strategies, particularly within the context of basic education in Indonesia. The study recommends integrating flannel board media into the mathematics curriculum at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi to enhance students' learning outcomes and deepen their understanding of number concepts.

Abstract

To support the smooth learning process in the classroom, learning media is very necessary. In teaching and learning the role of learning media is also important to help the learning process. So this research aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects using pop up book audio media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection at SDN 3 Blimbing. The instruments used in this research were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, documentation and learning results test sheets. The results of this research show that those who use audio pop up books have a metamorphosis in science learning. Student learning outcomes have increased from the 2 learning cycles carried out, which can be seen from the student learning outcomes where in the first cycle, student completion was 43%, which shows that students can understand metamorphosis material but cannot differentiate between lava and pupae, tadpoles and tailed frogs, pupae and larvae. larva, nymph and imago. Meanwhile, in cycle II, learning outcomes increased by 52.4% to 95.4% .  This indicates that the use of audio pop up book media on metamorphosis material can improve learning outcomes significantly. Therefore, it is recommended that science learning in elementary schools use more real learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difficulties of learning cubes and rectangular prisms experienced by 5th grade students. The research method used was quantitative descriptive methods with a sample of 18 students and the 5th grade teachers at SD Negeri 2 Weru. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and interviews. The results of the research show that: a) Students' ability to draw cubes and rectangular prisms is in the high category with a percentage of 83.33%. This can be seen in the suitability of student work results with the instructions given; b) Students' ability to identify geometric elements in images is in the very low category, with a percentage of 33.33%; c) Students' ability to determine the volume and surface area of a cube is in the moderate category with a percentage of 61.11%; d) Students' ability to determine the volume and surface area of a rectangular prism is in the low category with a percentage of 55.55%; and e) Students' ability to determine the volume and surface area of a rectangular prism based on the image presented is in the very low category with a percentage of 38.89%. Difficulties in learning mathematics faced by students include the inability to distinguish between cubes and rectangular prisms and their elements, difficulty while answering questions and applying formulas, the basics of multiplication are not yet strong, and lack of motivation to learn.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the teaching book of important moeslim figures during the proclamation of indepence in MIS Al-Islami Tiremenggal, during the school year 2022/2023. The model of development used inthis study is the developing mode ADDIE, which consists of five stages which are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation,and Evaluation. The subject used for this study are students in fifth grade in MIS Al-Islami. The data was gatheres for this study by using validation paper from a linguist, material or content expert, and graphic artist along wit questionnaire sheets for students responses. Based on the result of linguist data analysis that is developed are on very valid criteria with a score of 94,44%. The result of the material analysis that is developed are on very valis criteria with a score 90,91%. The developed data of graphic artist data analysis resulted on very valid criteria with a score 97,53%. The testing conducted by the expert resulted with a score of 92,16% on very good criteria. The result of the development of the teaching book of important moeslim figures during the proclamation of independence using the ADDIE model is concluded on very valid and very good criteria. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar tokoh-tokoh islam pada peristiwa proklamasi kemerdekaan di MIS Al-Islami Tiremenggal tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation­. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V MIS Al-Islami Tiremenggal. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi dari ahli bahasa, ahli materi atau isi dan ahli kegrafikaan serta lembar angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ahli bahasa yang dikembangkan berada pada kriteri sangat valid dengan skor sebesar 94,44%. Hasil analisis materi yang dikembangkan berada pada kriteria sangat valid dengan skor sebesar 90,91%. Hasil analisi data ahli kegrafikaan yang dikembangkan berada pada kriteria sangat valid dengan skor sebesar 97,53%. Hasil uji coba yang dilakukan peneliti memproleh skor sebesar 92,16% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Buku ajar tokoh-tokoh islam pada peristiwa proklamasi kemerdekaan yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dapat disimpulkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan sangat baik

Abstract

The type of development research with the Research and Development (RD) method using the ADDIE model through 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The number of students is 15 students. Based on an interview with the homeroom teacher of grade IV UPT SD NEGERI 135 GRESIK, the information obtained by the researcher regarding the problems in grade IV on the material of flat shapes is that in the process of learning Mathematics many have difficulty in understanding the material, one of which is that students have difficulty in the material of flat shapes, namely in understanding its characteristics. Based on the results of the study, the researcher produced a product in the form of magic disc media on the material of flat shapes. The results of the study from media validation obtained an average of 98% "very valid", material validation obtained 96% "very valid", student responses obtained an average of 95% "very good". Based on the results above, the product developed by this researcher is expected to make learning more enjoyable for students, as an additional media for educators, and for further researchers, it is hoped that they can further perfect the magic disc media to make it more interesting and in demand.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of two-dimensional (2D) animation video media on the results of learning science on the water cycle material. The method used in this study is the experimental method with a quasi-experimental type. The design in this study is a non-equivalent control group design. The design of this study involved two classes, the experimental class, namely class V B, which was taught using two-dimensional (2D) animation video media and the control class, namely class V A, which was taught without using two-dimensional (2D) animation video media. The sample used was students in classes V A and V B of UPT SD Negeri 57 Gresik totaling 54 students. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test. Based on the results of the research on the Independent Sample T-test which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0,000 which means ≤ 0,05 then is rejected and is accepted which means there is an influence of two-dimensional (2D) animation video media on the results of learning science on the water cycle material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi ,dan menggali tentang pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan STEM untuk mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran STEM sangat diperlukan bagi kalangan pendidikan dasar mulai dari guru pada level dasar, siswa sekolah dasar dan mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Tujuan pembelajaran STEM adalah agar anak memiliki literasi sains yang tinggi serta mampu menggunakannya atau mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penggalian ini diperlukan karena keikutsertaan negara Indonesia melalui pengukuran PISA, selalu menempatkan Indonesia pada peringkat bawah dalam pengukuran literasi sains, matematika dan Bahasa. Dengan program studi yang memiliki produk pembelajaran berbasis STEM maka akan mampu menyiapkan dan membekali calon lulusannya untuk menjadi calon guru SD yang memiliki bekal kemampuan akademik dan keterampilan dalam mengemas pembelajaran sains di SD berdasarkan STEM. Sehingga mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan literasi sains dan matematika untuk anak-anak SD di tempat mereka bertugas.

The method used in this study is an experimental method with a quasi experimental type. The design in this study, namely none-equivalent control group design, this study involves two classes, namely the experimental class, namely class IV A, which is treated with learning using the discovery learning model, while the control class, namely IV B, is taught without using the discovery learning model.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan Media Pop Up Book materi Fotosintesis tumbuhan pada peserta didik kelas IV di UPT SD Negeri 76 Gresik tahun ajaran 2024 /2025.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Pada tahap development melibatkan 2 validator yaitu validator media dan validator materi. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan angka persentase 90% dan dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan angka persentase 97% dan dikategorikan sangat valid. Kemudian hasil keefektifan Media Pop Up Book materi Fotosintesis dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil klasikal atau hasil belajar menunjukkan persentase 100% yang dinyatakan sangat valid untuk memenuhi ketuntasan belajar.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan Media Pop Up Book materi Fotosintesis pada peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar telah teruji kevalidan sehingga dapat digunakan dengan baik dan juga hasil keefektifan telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan belajar. Kata kunci : Media, Pop Up Book, IPAS, Fotosintesis tumbuhan. Abstract aims to increase students' interest in learning by using Pop Up Book Media on Photosynthesis of Plants for grade IV students at UPT SD Negeri 76 Gresik in the 2024/2025 academic year.This research is a development research, using the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The development stage involved 2 validators, namely the media validator and the material validator. The results of the media expert validation showed a percentage of 90% and were categorized as very valid. The results of the material expert validation showed a percentage of 97% and were categorized as very valid. Then the results of the effectiveness of the Pop Up Book Media on Photosynthesis material seen from the completion of classical results or learning outcomes show a percentage of 100% which is stated to be very valid to meet learning completion.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of the Pop Up Book Media on Photosynthesis material for grade IV Elementary School students has been tested for validity so that it can be used well and the results of effectiveness have met the criteria for learning completion. Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of photosynthesis materials in grade IV elementary schools. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental type. The design in the study is a non-equivalent control group design. The design of this study involves two classes, the experimental class, namely IV-B, is learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and the control class, namely class IV-C, is learning using the conventional learning model. The sample used was 54 students in grades IV-B and IV-C SD YPI Darussalam. The data collection technique uses a learning outcome test. Based on the results of the study in the Independent Sample T-test which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 which means less than 0.05, then H0 and Ha were accepted, which means that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of photosynthesis materials in grade IV elementary school.
