Abstract

This article discusses Islamic education thoughts according to Az-Zarnuji. Islamic education is expected to be able to shape students who can apply spiritual-religious values and ethics, but what is happening currently has not reached the intended goals. As a solution, there is a need for a renewal in the educational concept. This paper is written using the literature review method (library research). The findings reveal that Az-Zarnuji's educational thoughts are relevant to modern education in the following aspects. Educational Goals: The alignment with the national educational goals in the 2003 National Education System Law (Sisdiknas) regarding education goals, both emphasize morality, Educators: This can be observed through the teacher's personal competencies, which include a strong personality, noble ethics, wisdom, authority, and serving as an example for students. Students: Relevance can be seen in alignment with Sisdiknas Law number 23 of 2003, Chapter V, Article 12, which emphasizes students' responsibility to uphold educational norms. Curriculum: The foundation of the Islamic Education curriculum includes religious fundamentals and psychological bases. Teaching Methods: It is evident that memorization and discussion methods are still used in the current era, tailored to the students' needs.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis paru (TB) adalah salah satu penyakit infeksi yang sangat berbahaya dan menular di seluruh dunia. Menurut Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO), TB menyumbang jumlah kematian yang signifikan, terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Salah satu tantangan terbesar dalam pengelolaan TB adalah kepatuhan pasien terhadap pengobatan yang jangka Panjang (Parameswari & ., 2024). Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, telenursing telah muncul sebagai metode yang potensial untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Telenursing memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi untuk memberikan perawatan kesehatan jarak jauh, termasuk pemantauan pengobatan, edukasi, dan dukungan emosional kepada pasien (Mawarti et al., 2023). Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki intervensi telenursing pada pasien tuberkulosis paru, dengan fokus pada efektivitas, keuntungan, dan tantangan yang ada. Scoping review ini mengumpulkan berbagai studi yang membahas implementasi telenursing dalam pengelolaan TB, menganalisis hasil-hasil yang diperoleh, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya. Metode: Studi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan scoping review. Kami melakukan pencarian sistematis di berbagai database seperti PubMed, Scopus, dan Google Scholar, dengan kata kunci yang relevan mengenai telenursing, tuberkulosis paru, dan teknologi kesehatan. Literatur yang ditemukan akan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi tren, temuan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penggunaan telenursing pada pasien TB. Hasil: Telenursing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien terhadap pengobatan tuberkulosis, serta meningkatkan akses pasien terhadap perawatan kesehatan. Meskipun banyak keuntungan yang ditemukan, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan tenaga kesehatan menjadi hambatan signifikan. Kesimpulan: Intervensi telenursing memiliki potensi besar dalam manajemen pasien tuberkulosis paru, tetapi penerapannya memerlukan infrastruktur yang memadai dan dukungan pelatihan bagi tenaga kesehatan. Kebijakan yang mendukung telenursing dapat mempercepat implementasinya secara luas.

Abstract

The electricity crisis in Indonesia is caused by the decreasing supply of fossil fuels for power plants. One solution to overcome this problem is the Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) which can convert sunlight into electrical energy by utilizing environmentally friendly organic dyes. This study has succeeded in making and determining DSSC using organic dyes derived from sappanwood extract with pH variations (4, 7, and 10). Each pH level produces efficiency values ​​of 0.01714%, 0.05497% and 0.03174%. VLC with a chloroform: methanol ratio (5:5 and 1:9) was then characterized using UV-Vis, FTIR, and GC-MS instruments. Characterization of sappanwood dye extract using UV-Vis instrument showed absorption at wavelengths of 243, 285, 445, and 541. FTIR instrument provided information on functional groups –OH at wave number 3415.93 cm-1 and C-O-C at wave number 1255.66 cm-1 which are characteristic of isoflavonoid compounds. Abstract

Luka diabetikum merupakan komplikasi serius pada penderita diabetes mellitus yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup dan peningkatan beban pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas modern dressing dibandingkan perawatan konvensional dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka diabetes. Scoping review dilakukan dengan menelaah studi-studi terbaru lima tahun terakhir mengenai penggunaan modern dressing pada luka diabetikum dari : PubMed, Science Direct, dan Google Scholar dengan PRISMA checklis dan kata kunci "pengaruh", "effect", "modern dressing", "ulkus diabetikum", "diabetic foot ulcer", dan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa modern dressing secarameningkatkan proses penyembuhan dengan menjaga kelembapan luka, mengurangi inflamasi, dan mendukung regenerasi jaringan. Pasien mengalami penyembuhan luka lebih cepat, penurunan eksudat, serta berkurangnya tanda infeksi, sekaligus meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kualitas hidup. Temuan ini mendukung prioritas penggunaan modern dressing dalam protokol perawatan luka diabetes. Penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel besar dan durasi pengamatan lebih panjang diperlukan untuk memperkuat bukti dan mengoptimalkan praktik klinis.

Abstract

The need for electricity is good for the industry, offices, and public and individuals are greatly increased. However, the increase in demand for electricity is not accompanied by the additional power supply. Based on these problems, chosen solar energy as an alternative energy to generate electric power. A tool that is used here is the solar cell because it can directly convert solar radiation into electrical energy (photovoltaic process). So that solar energy can be used at night, then during the day, the electrical energy generated is stored before a battery which is controlled by the regulator. Regulator output is directly connected to the inverter from the DC to AC. The test results of solar modules (photovoltaic) indicated that the results of the average power output reached 38.24 Watt, and the currents were 2.49 A.  This is because the photovoltaic follows the direction of movement of the sun and always located at the photovoltaic to remain facing the sun. Therefore, it will still be able to capture the radiant sun to the fullest.

Abstract

The Nagan Raya coal-fired power plant in Aceh, Indonesia, serves as a major supplier of electricity to the region's power grid. However, the power generation unit of the plant, which supplies reactive power to the subsystem, often experiences disturbances that cause voltage values in the Banda Aceh substation system to decrease. This decrease in voltage can be detrimental to the quality of power supplied to the consumers. To address this issue, a capacitor bank with a capacity of 25 Mvar was installed at the end of 2016. The capacitor bank was successful in increasing the voltage value at the substation and proved to be an effective solution. However, with the anticipated growth in load in the coming years and the possibility of future disturbances in the power generation unit, it has been proposed that an additional capacitor bank unit with the same capacity be installed to further enhance the voltage quality at the Banda Aceh substation. To assess the feasibility of this proposal, simulations were carried out using ETAP 12.6.0 software. The simulation results show that the addition of a 25 Mvar capacitor bank unit would lead to an increase in the substation voltage value of around 5-6 KV. This increase in voltage would help to maintain the quality of power supplied to the consumers and ensure that the power grid remains stable even in the event of disturbances in the power generation unit. Overall, the proposed installation of an additional capacitor bank unit would be a cost-effective solution to enhance the voltage quality at the Banda Aceh substation and ensure the stability of the power grid. This solution could be adopted by other power plants facing similar issues in maintaining voltage quality in their power grid systems.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the performance of the voltage system at the Nagan Raya Steam Power Plant (PLTU) by installing capacitor banks. Capacitor banks are integrated into the system to increase voltage stability, reduce power losses, and increase energy efficiency in PLTUs. The research method involves analyzing the existing voltage system, designing the capacitor bank installation, and evaluating the system performance after installation. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution in improving the performance of PLTU Nagan Raya and overall energy efficiency.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing power losses due to load imbalance in the medium-voltage distribution network in Pasar Aceh. The aim is to determine the magnitude of power losses that occur at the distribution substation in Pasar Aceh. The research method involves analysis, calculations, and simulations using the ETAP 12.6 software. The results of the analysis indicate that load imbalance in the Pasar Aceh substation leads to power losses. The Trafo Samping Pasar Aceh experiences power losses of 0.77% with a load imbalance of 16.33%. The second transformer in the BNI 46 area incurs power losses of 0.98% with a load imbalance of 30.33%, and the transformer in the BLKG KOTTY area has power losses of 1.17% with a load imbalance of 50.33%. These findings affirm that the greater the load imbalance, the higher the resulting power losses in the electrical distribution network.

Abstract

Background: Thalassemia is a genetically inherited blood disorder that is chronic and difficult to prevent, significantly affecting children’s quality of life physically, socially, and emotionally. Improving quality of life requires not only medical management such as regular transfusions but also positive parental support, including motivation, attention, and nondiscriminatory treatment compared to healthy children. Understanding parental support and interaction is essential for promoting optimal outcomes. Purpose: This study aimed to assess the level of parental support and interaction for children with thalassemia. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted with purposive sampling, including 75 parents of children with thalassemia. Data were collected using structured observation sheets to evaluate parental support and interaction levels, alongside demographic information such as age, sex, education, and occupation. Results: Most respondents were aged 46–55 years (46.7%), female (86.7%), with high school education (53.3%), and homemakers (66.7%). Findings showed that 92.0% of parents provided positive support, and 78.7% demonstrated high interaction with their children. Positive parental involvement was observed in emotional support, attention to health needs, and daily engagement. Conclusion: Parents of children with thalassemia play a crucial role in providing positive support and interaction, contributing to the child’s overall well-being and recovery. Although this study was limited to survey-based observation, it highlights the importance of parental involvement in managing chronic pediatric conditions. Future research using qualitative approaches is recommended to explore in-depth parental experiences and validate these findings.

Abstract

The study aims to find out: the contribution of the Wamengkoli Wara terminal levy to regional revenue. Quantitative research is the chosen research methodology. Both secondary and primary data are used. Contribution analysis is used in data analysis. The sampling method uses saturated samples over a period of 5 years, or from 2018 to 2022. All data needed to collect data based on research in the form of concepts, definitions, or theories that can be applied to explain the problem to be discussed through this research. The Regional Revenue Office, the Transportation Office, and in this case customers are secondary data sources. The study findings show that: The average contribution of the wamengkoli wara terminal levy to Regional Original Revenue during 2018-2022 is 1.63% This shows that the contribution of the terminal levy is still considered insufficient due to several things such as the COVID-19 pandemic and inter-district rental car/motorbike bus users prefer to raise and drop off passengers outside the terminal. In general, passengers who travel back and forth have private vehicles that are not collectible to the terminal Central Buton Regency is still a new pemekaran area, so the volume of terminal service users is still lacking.
