Construction of physical infrastructure resulted in reducing vegetation cover land. This problem has an impact on weather conditions, namely temperature and humidity, and the index of comfort for the citizens of the city. This study aims to find out (1) Changes in Open Space City of Banda Aceh for five years, from 2012 - 2017; (2) the connection between temperature and RTH relative humidity; (3) Comfort index based on the Temperature Humadity Index (THI) in the city of Banda Aceh; and (4) Comfort index based on the adequacy of green open space. The research method uses a quantitative approach. Sources of research data are Landsat Remote Sensing imagery and field measurements for temperature and humidity data. Data is processed by using GIS, product moment correlation analysis, determine the comfort index using the Temperature Humadity Index (THI) formula. Additionally, based on the results of data processing, it was concluded that (1) there was a reduction in green open space of 299 ha for five years in Banda Aceh, only Syiah Kuala District had a proportional open space area; (2) The correlation coefficient between temperature and relative humidity is -0.78 or in the strong category; (3) Comfort index based on THI Banda Aceh in the uncomfortable category; and (4) the lowest RTH with THI is 28.1 in Hutan Kota Trembesi, Jaya Baru District, while the highest THI RTH is 30.8 in Blang Padang Field, Baiturrahman District.

Salah satu tujuan dari pendidikan nasional yaitu menjadikan peserta didik sebagai warga negara yang bertanggung jawab . Setiap mata pelajaran memiliki peranan yang unik dalam menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Geografi memiliki kontribusi dalam menumbuhkan cinta tanah air pada peserta didik dikarenakan hakikat dari ilmu geografi mempelajari bumi sebagai tempat tinggal manusia dengan objek kajian berupa tanah (litosfer), udara (atmosfer), biosfer (makhluk hidup) antroposfer (penduduk) dan hidrosfer (air). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari Pendidikan Geografi dalam meningkatkan rasa cinta tanah air/ Nasionalisme baik secara secara langsung (Instructional Effect) dan juga dalam secara tidak langsung (Nurturant Effect). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan mata pelajaran Geografi berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air/ Nasionalisme baik secara langsung (Instructional Effect) dan secara tidak langsung (Nurturant Effect). Nasionalisme berkaitan dengan tujuan mata pelajaran geografi yaitu memperkenalkan wilayah Indonesia beserta potensi yang terkandung di dalamnya sehingga menumbuhkan prilaku peserta didik agar cinta tanah air, bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap keutuhan NKRI

Education is functioned to prepare human to compete in overcoming various challenges. One of challenge faced by Indonesian nation is natural disaster. The effective method to reduce the risk of natural disaster (disaster mitigation) is by enhancing understanding of disaster in each individual. Aceh Tsunami Museum (ATM) is one of important site which is build to remember the big disaster event which happened in 2004 in Aceh and as disaster learning source. This study is aimed to find out the influence of ATM utilization in enhancing students’ understanding of disaster, by using outdoor study method (visit ATM) and audio visual media (Film with disaster themed). The research design is Experimental quasi. Sample of this study are students of class X-2 IS and X-3 IS with total of 57 students. Data is obtained from literature study, observation, test, questionnaire, and documentary study. The result showed that utilizing ATM by outdoor study method can better enhance understanding of disaster compared to audio visual media. Constructivism learning approach can create more meaningful learning. Teachers are suggested to apply constructivism learning approach in learning process.

The misconceptions that occur in integrated social studies subjects are caused by the wide scope of material, which causes students to have difficulty understanding the concepts conveyed by the teacher. A misperception is an error in understanding and explaining a concept based on previous experience. This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on reducing students' misconceptions in integrated social studies subjects. This type of research is experimental and uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used in this study is a total sampling technique (population research). The sample in this study was from class VIII-E MTsS Insan Qura'ni Aceh Besar, totaling 27 people. The data collection technique is in the form of giving tests to students, namely a pre-test and post-test that are equipped with a three-tier diagnostic test. The results showed that the average score of students' misconceptions on the pretest was 33.33%, and the post-test was 15.06%. So, there is a decrease in students' misconceptions after the application of the problem based learning model of 54.81%. The results of hypothesis testing in this study were obtained, so that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. So the hypothesis in this study is that there is a decrease in the value of misconceptions after the application of the problem based learning model. The conclusion of the study is that the application of the problem based learning model can reduce students' misconceptions in integrated social studies subjects about interaction between ASEAN countries (class VIII MTsS Insan Qur'ani Aceh Besar).

Indonesia is a region that is vulnerable to earthquake and tsunami disasters. As a mitigation effort a disaster vulnerability map is needed. This study aims to produce a tsunami vulnerability map of the environment by implementing a geographic information system (GIS) in Aceh Barat District. Tools and materials used are: 1) computer device assisted by ArcGis Software version 10.4.1. 2) Parameter map (Land use map in West Aceh District, Map of river border distance, Beach border distance, Map of Aceh Barat District elevation map, West Aceh District slope map). Data were analyzed by scoring and weighting with overlay techniques. The results showed that the area with a very high vulnerability category was at the mouth of the river and the area of the Woyla River, Bubon River, and Meureubo River with an area of up to 10 . Areas with a very low vulnerability category are in the Sungai Mas and Pante Ceureumen Districts with an area of 1611.. Suggestions in this research are the need for more specific mapping, such as mapping of social, economic, and physical vulnerability, so that the impact of the tsunami disaster from various vulnerability factors can be minimized

The era of society 5.0 is a concept where people already understand and understand the importance of the role of Information and Communication Technology so that people will get a positive impact from the development of technology. In the world of education in the era of society 5.0, students are required to have some expertise in technology which is supported by the ability to think creatively, innovatively, critically, communication skills and collaboration skills. In addition to students who must have various skills, teachers as educators have their own role, namely helping students in facing the era of society 5.0. One of the roles of teachers is to provide character education to students to form good ethics so that these characters can make students able to collaborate with technology positively. The purpose of this study is to explain the importance of the role of teachers in strengthening student character, especially in the era of society 5.0. In addition, the purpose of this study is to explain how important teachers are in optimizing the use of learning technology to help students face the era of society 5.0. The method used is a Qualitative Approach with a case study research method. The result of this study is that a teacher has an important role in strengthening student character in the era of society 5.0. by doing character education at school. Permasalahan sampah menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim, karena pengelolaannya yang kurang optimal dapat menghasilkan emisi gas rumah kaca yang signifikan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya siswa, dalam mengelola sampah secara efektif sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif, meliputi observasi, mediasi, penyampaian materi pelatihan, praktik pembuatan kompos, pemilahan sampah dan diskusi serta evaluasi kegiatan penerapan 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta tentang dampak sampah terhadap perubahan iklim dan cara pengelolaannya. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan efektif dalam membangun kesadaran dan memotivasi peserta untuk berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan lingkungan. Pelatihan ini berkontribusi pada pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs), terutama pada SDG 12 (Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab) dan SDG 13 (Tindakan terhadap Perubahan Iklim). Keberlanjutan program ini memerlukan dukungan berbagai pihak khususnya sekolah untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang mendukung penerapan gaya hidup berkelanjutan secara konsisten.

Earthquakes that cause tsunamis have occurred in Indonesia, one of which was in Aceh Province in 2004. Thisstudy aims to evaluate the suitability of tsunami evacuation direction signs in Kuta Raja District based on predetermined parameters. This research is a laboratory research, data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and field surveys with data analysis using Overlay techniques and value scores on GIS Software. Based on the results of the study, it is known that topographically the Kuta Raja District area is on average at an altitude of 0-3 masl, with the farthest distance from the coastline is about 2.5 Km. Land use in Kuta Raja District is dominated by settlements with an area coverage of about 55% of the total area. The results of the analysis showed that there were as many as 14 directional signs indicating the Tsunami disaster evacuation route throughout the Kuta Raja District area indicating the direction of the appropriate path for community evacuation, however, there were several evacuation route signs that were constrained by road widths that only ranged from 4-6 m and several road bodies that were damaged.

Sungai merupakan waduk alami yang berperan penting sebagai sumber air dan tempat aliran air permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dampak pencemaran deterjen di Sungai Irigasi Kutatinggi akibat aktivitas pencucian pakaian dan pembuangan limbah rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas mencuci dengan deterjen konvensional secara langsung di sungai berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan nilai TDS, terutama di bagian hilir, yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas air dan munculnya keluhan kesehatan seperti iritasi kulit. Masyarakat umumnya belum mengenal atau menggunakan deterjen ramah lingkungan dan belum memiliki sistem pengolahan limbah yang memadai. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan tanaman air penyerap polutan, pembangunan penampungan limbah deterjen, serta edukasi masyarakat untuk beralih ke produk pembersih berbahan alami. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sungai dan menjadi dasar kebijakan pengelolaan limbah domestik di tingkat lokal.
