Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the efforts and strategies carried out by SLB to meet national education standards in order to improve school accreditation. This research used a quantitative approach with a total of 234 respondents from 34 special schools in the Padang City and DI Yogyakarta areas who were selected using purposive sampling. The data source for this research is primary data with data collection techniques through filling out questionnaires and FGDs. The research data that has been collected is carried out through SPSS analysis. The research was conducted from February to October 2023. The results of the research show that management standards, financing standards, facilities and infrastructure standards as well as standards for educators and education personnel provide a positive and significant influence on strategies for increasing SLB accreditation, while content standards, process standards, standards graduate competencies and assessment standards do not have a positive and significant influence on strategies for increasing SLB accreditation. However, it is known that each educational standard is related to other educational standards, so it is necessary to carry out various standard optimizations so that each educational standard can be implemented optimally to obtain optimal accreditation results.

Abstract

This research explored the influence of multidimensional intelligence, including emotional, social, spiritual, and academic intelligence, on the performance of elementary school teachers in Indonesia. Five hundred teachers from various regions were selected as samples using stratified random sampling techniques. The survey method was used to collect data, and multiple linear regression analysis was applied to determine the influence of each intelligence dimension on teacher performance. The results indicated that all dimensions of intelligence positively impacted teacher performance, with academic intelligence having the most dominant effect (coefficient 0.295), followed by social intelligence (0.182), emotional intelligence (0.170), and spiritual intelligence (0.086). These findings indicate the importance of a holistic approach to improving teacher performance, focusing on strengthening academic and social intelligence. The research also recommends that teacher development policies pay more attention to multidimensional intelligence in training programs. Future research should expand the scope by considering factors such as work environment and intrinsic motivation that may affect teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract

Many ELT students in asynchronous e-learning may experience burnout despite having adequate technological skills. Understanding how computer self-efficacy (CSE) relates to burnout is therefore essential to support their well-being. The study aimed to investigate the correlation between CSE and learning burnout and to examine whether CSE predicts burnout among ELT students in an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) university. Using a correlational–predictive design, data from 38 students were analyzed through Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. Results showed varied CSE levels: basic computer skills ranked highest, followed by media-related skills, while web-based skills were lowest. Students appeared more confident with basic functions than with online or media tools. Exhaustion emerged as the strongest burnout symptom. A significant positive correlation was found between CSE and learning burnout (r = 0.370, p = 0.022), and regression analysis showed that CSE significantly predicted burnout (F = 5.709, p = 0.022), accounting for 13.7% of the variance. Each unit increase in CSE corresponded to a 0.480-unit rise in burnout. These results challenge the assumption that higher technological competence always reduces burnout. Instead, students with stronger CSE may over-engage with digital tools, increasing exhaustion. The findings highlight the need for balanced technology use and thoughtful e-learning design to protect students’ well-being.

Abstract

The research aimed to develop and validate an interactive learning module effectively applicable in distance education. Using an Educational Research and Development (R&D) model with a mixed-methods approach, the study collected quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from pre-tests and post-tests to measure cognitive improvement, analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (paired t-test or Wilcoxon test) and effect size calculation. Learning analytics from the LMS—such as clicks, video-watching duration, and quiz scores—supported the analysis. Qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke, complemented with Likert-scale questionnaires, observation rubrics, and LMS logs. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ cognitive performance, with post-test scores (M = 13.24, SD = 1.07) much higher than pre-test scores (M = 3.67, SD = 1.41), t(19) = 25.43, p < 0.001, Cohen’s d = 5.69. LMS analytics showed high engagement, with 82% average video completion and frequent quiz participation. Over 85% of students reported greater satisfaction and motivation using the interactive module. The integration of short videos, diagnostic quizzes, and web simulations proved effective for self-directed learning and comprehension, supporting the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework in inclusive digital education.
