Abstract

SMP Islam Al Bayan Wiradesa merupakan salah satu sekolah yang telah menerapkan pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM) pada pertengahan tahun 2021 ini meskipun di tengah masa pandemic. Meskipun demikian, PTM yang terlaksana pun tidak optimal mengingat sekolah harus senantiasa tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Dengan aturan tersebut, waktu belajar di sekolah lebih sedikit sehingga banyak materi pelajaran yang tidak dapat disampaikan oleh guru. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk mengefisienkan waktu adalah metode flipped classroom. Metode ini dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran daring ataupun luring dan telah terbukti dapat  meningkatkan tingkat partisipasi siswa pada pembelajaran di kelas. Untuk itu kegiatan PKM ini akan bertujuan memberikan iptek kepada guru-guru SMP Islam Al Bayan agar dapat menerapkan metode flipped classroom dalam pembelajaran di kelas, khususnya pada mata pelajaran  Matematika dan Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa metode flipped classroom dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan waktu belajar di era new normal.

Abstract

Untuk menjaga kualitas alumni di suatu universitas, perlu dilakukan prediksi mengenai masa studi dan IPK akhir mahasiswa. Prediksi masa studi dan predikat dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pemberian perlakuan agar mahasiswa dapat lulus tepat waktu dengan nilai yang baik. Lebih lanjut, prediksi tersebut juga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar perbaikan pengelolaan universitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi menggunakan algoritma supervised learning untuk memprediksi masa studi dan predikat IPK mahasiswa ketika lulus kuliah. Data yang digunakan adalah data alumni Universitas Pekalongan tahun 2018 yang terdiri dari 1208 alumni. Pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi CRISP DM dengan menerapkan 3 model klasifikasi yaitu KNN, Decision Tree, dan Support Vector Machine. Metrik keberhasilan yang digunakan adalah akurasi. Dari hasil pemodelan, diperoleh bahwa model yang terbaik untuk variabel masa studi adalah SVM dengan nilai akurasi 0.70 dan model terbaik untuk variabel predikat adalah KNN dengan nilai akurasi 0.51.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pekalongan. (2) pengaruh self confidence terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pekalongan. (3) pengaruh motivasi belajar dan self confidence terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pekalongan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, diperoleh sampel pada kelas VII B sebanyak 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan tes. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda data motivasi belajar dan self confidence secara Bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika diperoleh persamaan regresi dengan koefisien determinasi ( sebesar 0,333 atau 33,3%. Maka, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar dan self confidence terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Entering the new normal era, Mathematics learning is carried out using blended learning. However, in its implementation so far it has not run optimally. Discussions held online were not well facilitated, materials were only sent via whatsapp groups, and documentation was not good. Mathematics learning should be presented in an attractive manner by utilizing learning technology in accordance with the times. One of the platforms that can be used is the Moodle platform, which can be implemented simultaneously for face-to-face learning and online learning. Through Moodle, teachers can provide materials, videos, assignments, and quizzes that students can access anytime and anywhere, and create discussion forums with their students. Students who find it difficult to learn mathematics can ask the forum according to the topic of discussion. Thus, it is necessary to hold service activities in the form of training and mentoring of Moodle-based blended learning in learning mathematics at SMP Negeri 1 Magelang and SMP Negeri 2 Magelang. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training and mentoring for Moodle-based blended learning in mathematics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Magelang and SMP Negeri 2 Magelang as an innovation in learning mathematics.The target of this service is to transfer the science and technology of junior high school learning innovations to teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Magelang and SMP Negeri 2 Magelang in the form of training and mentoring, in the form of: (1) introduction to the Moodle platform and its features, (2) training in making teaching materials, assignments, quizzes, and videos using the Moodle platform, and (3) mentoring the use of Moodle in junior high school learning. The methods used in this service are lecture, question and answer, and practice methods. Service activities are carried out for 4 months in several stages, namely planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting the results of service activities. The result of community service activities is an increase in skills using the Moodle platform for mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Magelang and SMP Negeri 2 Magelang in blended learning-based Mathematics learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' errors in solving problems about Linear Equation and Inequalities. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this research were tests and interviews. There were 30 students of class VII F SMP Negeri 13 Pekalongan participated in this research. From all of the participants, it was taken 3 students, 1 from each category (high/moderate/low). The 3 students were then to be interviewed about the errors when solving the problems. Types of students' errors are classified according to Newman's Error Analysis. The data validity technique in this study was triangulation using the interview method. The results showed that the errors made were type I (reading error) is 0%, type II (comprehension error) is 9%, type III (transformation error) is 15%, type IV error (process skill error) is 34%, and type V (encoding error) is 41%. Based on the interviews, it was found that the error factors were not being able to determine the known elements in the problem, students are not careful in determining what is known in the problem, students cannot change the information in the problem into a mathematical model, students do not know the formula that should be used doing the wrong calculations in solving the problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and improve the concept understanding abilities of class VII students using the AIR learning model assisted by algebra song. This research uses a type of experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. This type of experimental research is included in quantitative research methods. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The instrument for collecting data in this research is a test instrument in the form of pretest and posttest questions. All students in class VII F were given pretest questions on real numbers and their operations. At the next 2 meetings, treatment was given in the form of learning algebra material using the AIR learning model assisted by algebra song. After the treatment was carried out, posttest questions on algebra material were given to students. Next, analysis of all data is carried out using the following steps: analysis of initial and final data, data presentation stage, and conclusions. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' ability to understand concepts by using the AIR learning model assisted by algebra song media. The use of the AIR learning model assisted by algebra song is said to be significant in improving the ability to understand concepts because the proportion of students after being given the AIR learning model assisted by algebra song who completed it exceeded the KKM score (>70) of more than 75% of the total number of students

Abstract

A website is a digital marketing tool for any enterprise, especially in today's digital era where every company should have its own website. However, most batik shops in Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon (KWBP) still do not have a website. The objective of this community service was to develop websites for 17 batik shops in KWBP and then provide training on how to fill and update these websites. The community service were carried out in five stages: problem identification, pre-training, training, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. Problem identification is conducted through interviews regarding the desired website needs. Pre-training involves creating websites for the 17 batik shops and one large website for KWBP. The training stage was conducted through demonstration and hands-on practice. Mentoring was done using a WhatsApp group, and evaluation was performed using observation sheets of training results. Based on the results, it was found that this activity can improve partners' skills in website content filling by 59% and increase partners' accessibility to website technology by 100%. The challenge encountered during training was that partners have not prepared the necessary website assets such as the batik shop logo and uploaded product images. However, overall, the participants' enthusiasm was considered high.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) instructional model enhances students' conceptual understanding compared to conventional teaching methods. Additionally, the research assessed differences in students' conceptual understanding based on their Adversity Quotient (AQ) categories: climbers, campers, and quitters. Furthermore, the study investigated whether there is an interaction between the CMP instructional model and Adversity Quotient in influencing students' conceptual understanding. The method employed was a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group. The sample consisted of XI MIPA 2 as the experimental group and XI MIPA 4 as the control group. Data were collected using both test and non-test methods, and data analysis utilized a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings revealed that the CMP instructional model significantly enhances students' conceptual understanding compared to the conventional model. Moreover, students categorized as climbers in AQ demonstrated better conceptual understanding compared to campers, while campers showed similar performance to quitters. Students with adversity quotient climbers exhibited better conceptual understanding than those with adversity quotient quitters. There was an interaction between the instructional model and adversity quotient in influencing conceptual understanding. Keywords: Adversity quotient, CMP, Conceptual understanding

Abstract

Batik is a product that has become Indonesia's cultural identity. As a batik city, Pekalongan continues to strive to improve the quality of batik products so that Indonesian batik does not become extinct. One of the things that makes batik attractive is its motifs and colors. Through its appeal, batik will increasingly exist and become global. In line with the problems that exist in the batik industry, namely the problem of production time efficiency, this community service aims to provide solutions to problems in the batik industry in order to save or reduce production time, especially in the batik industry. color dyeing stage, while maintaining the quality of the batik. The dyeing process carried out by the batik industry which is the activity partner, namely Perkumpulan Kampoeng Batik Kauman and Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon, still uses traditional dyeing techniques, so that through a batik dyeing machine solution called a feeder machine, the batik production process at the dyeing stage can be made easier. The results of this service activity were achieved with evidence of a success rate based on evaluation results reaching 87.4% as a dyeing tool innovation that had an impact on efficiency and with a color dyeing printing time of around 20-30 minutes on one 2x1m sheet of paper. cloth. Furthermore, the results of using the feeder machine are visible in the even coloring results and the batik wax does not break. This means that apart from being an efficiency solution, the feeder machine also improves the quality of batik.

Abstract

Intrusi air laut merupakan peristiwa masuknya air laut ke dalam aliran air tanah. Sedangkan rob merupakan peristiwa naiknya air laut ke daratan. Fenomena intrusi air laut dan rob sering terjadi di daerah pesisir pantai dan merupakan masalah yang menggangu aktiitas warga. Selama ini, belum pernah dikembangkan bahan ajar matematika yang memuat masalah intrusi air laut dan rob. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan soal cerita matematika yang memuat masalah intrusi air laut yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 4 Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pekalongan. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan materi yang dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, kemudian tahap prototyping yang dilakukan dengan penilaian oleh pakar (expert judgement) dan one to one evaluation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 7 soal cerita yang memuat masalah intrusi air laut yang valid sesuai dengan kriteria kevalidan yang dikembangkan. Selanjutnya, soal-soal yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan sebagai gambaran penggunaan masalah intrusi air laut dalam pembelajaran matematika.
