Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan metakognitif siswa berdasarkan kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang dan rendah pada pokok bahasan soal statsitika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA N 01 Bojong. Terdapat 6 subjek penelitian yang mewakili kategori kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, angket, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan melihat jawaban tes soal siswa dan wawancara. Setelah penelitian dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa, 1.) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi mampu menggunakan kemmapuan metakognitif pada aspek planning, monitoring, evaluating dengan maksimal, 2.) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang mampu menggunakan kemampuan metakognitif pada aspek planning dan monitoring dengan maksimal, tetapi belum bisa menggunakan kemampuan metakognitif pada aspek evaluation secara maksimal, 3.) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah belum dapat menggunakan keterampilan metakognitif aspek planning, monitoring dan evaluating secara maksimal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct a needs analysis for developing instructional materials used in schools, namely an interactive mathematics e-module based on local culture by integrating the local culture of Batang Regency for vocational high school (SMK) students. The method used in this study is qualitative, oriented towards product development in the form of an e-module. Data collection techniques included interviews with grade XI mathematics teachers and students, as well as distributing questionnaires to grade XI students at SMK N 1 Kandeman. The object of this research is the development analysis of an interactive e-module based on the local culture of Batang Regency for the topic of composition and inverse functions. The subjects of this study are grade XI students and a grade XI mathematics teacher at SMK N 1 Kandeman. Data collection methods in this study include curriculum analysis, material analysis, and field condition analysis based on the background of the local culture. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that students genuinely need instructional materials in the form of an electronic-based module to assist them in understanding the material, improve their problem-solving skills in the topics of composition and inverse functions, and help them relate the learning process to the local culture in their environment.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) instructional model enhances students' conceptual understanding compared to conventional teaching methods. Additionally, the research assessed differences in students' conceptual understanding based on their Adversity Quotient (AQ) categories: climbers, campers, and quitters. Furthermore, the study investigated whether there is an interaction between the CMP instructional model and Adversity Quotient in influencing students' conceptual understanding. The method employed was a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group. The sample consisted of XI MIPA 2 as the experimental group and XI MIPA 4 as the control group. Data were collected using both test and non-test methods, and data analysis utilized a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings revealed that the CMP instructional model significantly enhances students' conceptual understanding compared to the conventional model. Moreover, students categorized as climbers in AQ demonstrated better conceptual understanding compared to campers, while campers showed similar performance to quitters. Students with adversity quotient climbers exhibited better conceptual understanding than those with adversity quotient quitters. There was an interaction between the instructional model and adversity quotient in influencing conceptual understanding. Keywords: Adversity quotient, CMP, Conceptual understanding

Abstract

Community service activity partners are a group of productive partners, namely batik MSMEs in Pekalongan City, namely those who are members of the Kauman batik kampoeng association and the Pesindon batik tourism village. The main problem is marketing, especially digital product marketing in improving the brand image of batik MSMEs towards global competitiveness. This is in line with the aim of community service to optimize digital marketing for batik MSMEs to be able to increase global competitiveness through digital marketing training and mentoring activities by utilizing social media and e-commerce platforms and brand rights registration as part of MSME branding and functions so that consumers can characterizes a product owned by batik MSMEs so that it can differentiate it from other batik products. This activity is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage including identifying each partner's problem and preparing a problem solving plan, the implementation stage in the form of introducing digital marketing strategies as well as training on marketing utilization and optimization as well as introduction and assistance in creating brand rights, the conclusion evaluation stage of the entire activity, suggestions and conclusions from the results of community service activities. The results obtained from this activity are that batik MSMEs are still minimal in optimizing digitalization for marketing their products, as well as brand rights, only 20% of batik MSMEs have trademarks, the rest have no awareness of trademarks and don't even want to officially register their danang brands.

Abstract

Batik is a product that has become Indonesia's cultural identity. As a batik city, Pekalongan continues to strive to improve the quality of batik products so that Indonesian batik does not become extinct. One of the things that makes batik attractive is its motifs and colors. Through its appeal, batik will increasingly exist and become global. In line with the problems that exist in the batik industry, namely the problem of production time efficiency, this community service aims to provide solutions to problems in the batik industry in order to save or reduce production time, especially in the batik industry. color dyeing stage, while maintaining the quality of the batik. The dyeing process carried out by the batik industry which is the activity partner, namely Perkumpulan Kampoeng Batik Kauman and Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon, still uses traditional dyeing techniques, so that through a batik dyeing machine solution called a feeder machine, the batik production process at the dyeing stage can be made easier. The results of this service activity were achieved with evidence of a success rate based on evaluation results reaching 87.4% as a dyeing tool innovation that had an impact on efficiency and with a color dyeing printing time of around 20-30 minutes on one 2x1m sheet of paper. cloth. Furthermore, the results of using the feeder machine are visible in the even coloring results and the batik wax does not break. This means that apart from being an efficiency solution, the feeder machine also improves the quality of batik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan dan faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel dengan menggunakan Newman error analysis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 30 siswa kelas VII F Smp negeri 13 Pekalongan. Kemudian diambil 3 siswa yang terdiri dari 3 kategori yaitu, kategori nilai tinggi, nilai sedang, nilai rendah berdasarkan nilai tes yang diberikan peneliti. Jenis kesalahan siswa diklasifikasikan menurut Newman Error Analysis. Teknik keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini dengan triangulasi menggunakan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan yang dilakukan adalah tipe I kesalahan membaca (reading error) yaitu tidak ada kesalahan, tipe kesalahan II kesalahan memahami (comprehension error) sebesar 9%, tipe kesalahan III kesalahan mentransformasi (transformasion error) sebesar 15%, tipe IV kesalahan kemampuan memproses (process skill error) sebesar 34%, dan tipe V kesalahan menuliskan jawaban akhir (encoding error) sebesar 41%. Berdasarkan wawancara ditemukan faktor-faktor kesalahan yaitu, siswa tidak bisa menentukan ukuran diagonal-diagonal pada soal, siswa tidak bisa mengubah informasi pada soal kedalam model matematika, siswa tidak mengetahui rumus yang seharusnya digunakan, siswa tidak teliti dalam melakukan perhitungan pembagian.

Abstract

Sejak Covid 19 ditetapkan sebagai pandemi bulan Maret 2020 lalu, sebagian besar sekolah dan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia mulai menerapkan pembelajaran daring. Setelah berjalan selama 2 semester, baik guru dan dosen telah memiliki pengalaman yang cukup dalam mengelola kelas secara daring. Dengan kata lain, setiap guru atau dosen pastilah telah memiliki pendapat mengenai kemiripan setiap pasangan aplikasi pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan posisi dari 7 aplikasi yang sering digunakan sebagai platform pembelajaran daring dalam suatu ruang multidimensi berdasarkan pendapat responden mengenai kemiripan ketujuh aplikasi tersebut. Ketujuh aplikasi tersebut adalah Whatsapp, Telegram, Google Classroom, Schoology, Teams, LMS Moodle, dan Edmodo. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah suatu peta spasial yang menggambarkan kemiripan tujuh aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif eksploratif dengan menggunakan multidimensional scaling non atribut sebagai metode analisis data. Terdapat 30 responden yang bersedia berpartisipasi dengan memberikan pendapat mengenai seberapa mirip masingmasing platform. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam peta spasial yang terbentuk terdapat 3 kelompok yang muncul, yaitu kelompok 1 terdiri atas Telegram dan Whatsapp, kelompok 2 terdiri atas Moodle, Schoology, dan Edmodo, dan kelompok 3 berisikan Google Classroom dan Teams. Hasil MDS ini memiliki tingkat stress sebesar 4,98% dan nilai R2 sebesar 0.993 yang berarti hasil MDS dinilai sangat baik.

Abstract

Parenting stress among parents raising children with disabilities is a mental health concern that significantly impacts caregiving quality and family well-being. This study was conducted to identify factors associated with parenting stress levels among parents of children with disabilities in the Pekalongan Residency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between parental characteristics, social support, illness uncertainty, and the type of child’s disability with parenting stress. This research employed a descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach and involved 39 parents as respondents. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of parents experienced a moderate level of parenting stress (61.5%). There were significant associations between parenting stress and several factors, including the parent's gender, level of social support, illness uncertainty, and the type of the child’s disability (p<0.05). These findings highlight the importance of implementing family-based interventions and strengthening social support to reduce parenting stress among parents caring for children with disabilities.
