Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of the implementation of disbursement information systems, the arrangement of treasury archives, and leadership support for fraud prevention in the financial and revenue management agency of West Sulawesi province.  This research approach uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this study is the head of subsection and head of the financial subfield and treasurer of each the financial and revenue management agency of West Sulawesi province. The sampling techniques in this study was used purposive sampling.  The results of this study showed that variable disbursement of funds, arrangement of archives and leadership support had a significant impact in the prevention of fraud in the Financial and Regional Revenue Management Agency of West Sulawesi Province both partially and simultaneously. The archive structuring variables had the most dominant influence among all independent variables on dependent variables in this study. This study has the implications that good and archive structuring will prevent fraud in the West Sulawesi Provincial Financial and Revenue Management Agency.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskribsikan pelaksanaan pemberian bintang prestasi atau senyum dan pembuatan buku antologi puisi, dalam perspektif Abraham Maslow. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, disertai studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, pemberian penghargaan yang diberikan kepada siswa berprestasi yang berupa bintang atau senyum prestasi, dapat memberikan kebahagiaan kepada para siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan kebutuhan siswa terhadap penghargaan dalam pembelajaran telah terpenuhi. Di samping itu, adanya program pembuatan buku antologi puisi yang ber-ISBN juga menambah rasa senang dan motivasi belajar bagi para siswa. Pembuatan buku antologi ini merupakan sarana aktualisasi diri siswa. Dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri ini termasuk kebutuhan puncak sebagaimana dalam disebutkan oleh Abraham Maslow dalam hierarchi of need.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era abad ke-21 memerlukan pendekatan yang inovatif untuk membentuk generasi yang mampu berpikir kritis dan adaptif. Artikel ini membahas implementasi keterampilan berpikir kritis di SMP IT Nur Hasan dengan menggunakan perspektif filosofi progresivisme John Dewey. Progresivisme Dewey memandang pendidikan sebagai proses dinamis yang menekankan pada pengalaman langsung dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Implementasi keterampilan berpikir kritis di SMP IT Nur Hasan mencakup pengembangan kurikulum berbasis progresif, penekanan pada pembelajaran aktif, dan penerapan metode evaluasi yang mendukung perkembangan kritis. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan melibatkan kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan peneliti. Hasilnya memberikan gambaran konkrit tentang bagaimana filosofi progresivisme Dewey dapat diintegrasikan dalam konteks pendidikan modern untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik di SMP IT Nur Hasan. Kesimpulannya, implementasi keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan perspektif progresivisme membuka peluang baru dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan pembelajaran di sekolah menengah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan strategi Tilawah Tartil Qur’an (TTQ) dalam membentuk generasi berprestasi di Madrasah Insanul Kamil desa Melati II Kec. Perbaungan Kab. Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini berfokus pada metode Madrasah membina peserta didik dan sejauh mana keberhasilannya dalam meraih prestasi. Dengan observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan guru terkait, ditemukan bahwa ada tiga tahap yang dilakukan yaitu: persiapan pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Sedangkan dalam pembagiannya, para peserta didik dibagi menjadi tiga tingkatan yaitu: global, takhassus, dan lanjutan. Sejak 2014 metode ini diterapkan, Madrasah Insanul Kamil telah berhasil mencetak dua puluh peserta didik yang berhasil menjuarai bidang Tilawah Tartil Qur’an dari tingkat Kecamatan, Kabupaten, hingga Provinsi.

Abstract

This article highlights the critical role of leadership in shaping the quality of education and human resources within Islamic boarding schools, which face challenges in adapting to modern management standards and ensuring sustainable development. This research addresses the low quality and loyalty of human resources and the management system in Islamic boarding schools, particularly through the charismatic leadership of caregivers at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar Islamic Boarding School. This article gathers primary data from in-depth interviews with Islamic boarding school managers, students, and alums and secondary data from relevant literature. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation studies.The findings reveal that caregivers must integrate various leadership styles, with charismatic abilities as a distinctive identity that significantly influences human resource elements. Motivation for subordinates, educators, and students should be carried out effectively through person-to-person, group-to-group, and collaborative approaches. The study concludes that improving the quality of education at Pesantren Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar involves transformational leadership patterns focused on enhancing human resource capabilities by encouraging mindset shifts, motivating, and providing development opportunities through training, workshops, and seminars. Future research should explore the impact of digital tools and technology on leadership effectiveness in Islamic boarding schools and examine strategies for fostering global competitiveness among human resources in similar educational institutions.

Abstract

Intensive Care Unit is a treatment room for patients in critical condition with a high risk of death, so intensive and continuous monitoring is needed. Patients in critical condition require close monitoring and intensive therapy, so it is not uncommon for patients in intensive care to experience pain. Pain assessment in the intensive care unit is challenging, especially in patients who are receiving analgo-sedatives, are unconscious, and using ventilators. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the pain assessment tool (PAT) in patients with decreased consciousness in the intensive care unit. This study used a descriptive survey research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 13 respondents. The instrument used in this study was the Critical Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT). The data analysis technique used was univariate data analysis. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents experienced moderate pain during rest as many as 10 (76.9%) and when nursing actions were carried out severe pain as many as 8 (61.5%).

Abstract

The decline in morality and spirituality among adolescents has become a significant challenge in modern education. Junior high school (SMP) is a crucial phase for character formation, particularly in instilling religious values. This study aims to describe and analyze the development of students' religious character at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh through the lens of Plato’s philosophy of idealism. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research provides a rich, in-depth analysis supported by detailed observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that religious character development is conducted through daily religious habituation, teacher role modeling, and the integration of Islamic values into the learning process. Activities such as congregational prayers, daily Qur'an recitation, weekly Islamic studies, and teachers’ religious examples demonstrate the school’s efforts to guide students toward Plato’s ideals of truth, goodness, and beauty. This study confirms that religious character education goes beyond cognitive learning and serves as a spiritual and moral journey toward the ideal self.

Abstract

Vocational education in Indonesia faces challenges in producing graduates with technical competencies aligned with modern industry needs, particularly in workshop practice learning that remains instructive without considering social aspects and collaborative interactions. This research aims to analyze the implementation of lathe machine workshop practices through Vygotsky's social constructivism perspective at SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Qualitative research methods with case study design were used to explore the implementation of Zone of Proximal Development concepts, scaffolding, and social interaction in practical learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with mechanical engineering teachers and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Research results show that students' knowledge construction is realized through structured social interaction, instructors' role as more knowledgeable others with peer tutoring systems, gradual scaffolding implementation through demonstration and physical-symbolic tool mediation, and SMK's socio-cultural context supporting collaborative practice communities. This research concludes that Vygotsky's social constructivism theory effectively enhances students' activity, mutual assistance ability, self-confidence, and independence in lathe machine workshop practices.

Abstract

This study examines the financial feasibility of different replanting patterns for oil palm plasma and assesses farmers’ concerns regarding replanting decisions. The research was conducted in three districts of South Sumatra (OKI, Muara Enim, and Musi Banyuasin) with plasma farmers as respondents. Three financing patterns were  analyzed: self-financing through savings, insurance-based financing, and bank loans. The research used a survey method and sampling was determined with a balanced random sampling technique with 90 respondents. The research concluded that the financing pattern of oil palm replanting can be done through savings, insurance, and bank loans. The best financing pattern for replanting is conducted by using their savings because it can produce the highest net B/C value; NPV; and the shortest payback period. Sensitivity analysis showed that Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price reduction is the most sensitive for the financing patterns of their savings and bank loans, however for the financing patterns of insurance, the decrease in FFB production is mentioned as the most sensitive. The government has to maintain stable FFB pricing, and it is advised that they use their funds, which are arranged by KUD, to support the oil palm replanting. Five factors -complexity, compatibility, relative profitability, trialability, and observability - will be used to gauge farmers’ concerns about oil palm replanting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the evolution of leadership in the era of disruption through a bibliometric approach to 164 articles indexed in Scopus between 2003 and 2025. Articles from discontinued journals were excluded to maintain the relevance and quality of the data. The analysis results show an annual growth rate of 14.52% in publications written by 570 authors worldwide, reflecting the increasing attention to leadership studies in the face of global complexity and uncertainty. The results indicate that the USA is the most cited country and Malik P is the most relevant author. The findings show that digital transformation is the most relevant topic today, in line with the rapid development of technology and digital acceleration post-COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, health issues have emerged as an important focus, indicating a shift in the role of leaders to not only focus on technological innovation but also on employee well-being. The co-occurrence network analysis revealed three main clusters: red (leadership and human resource management in the context of digitalization), green (leadership in the health and education sectors), and blue (macro issues such as sustainable development and global labor).
