Abstract

PLTU Asam-Asam faces challenges in managing working hours, the effectiveness of knowledge management, and the transparency of performance appraisals, which can affect employee satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the impact of working hours, knowledge management, and performance appraisals on employee satisfaction at PLTU Asam-Asam. The research method employs a quantitative approach using the SEM-PLS analysis technique, with a sample of 183 employees collected through a Likert-scale-based questionnaire. The novelty of this research lies in the simultaneous analysis of the three variables within the steam power plant industry context, which has been relatively unexplored in previous studies. The results show that working hours (β=0.222, T=2.507, p=0.012), knowledge management (β=0.258, T=2.577, p=0.010), and performance appraisal (β=0.319, T=3.070, p=0.002) have a positive and significant impact on employee satisfaction, with performance appraisal being the most influential variable. The three variables' interaction also substantially impacts employee satisfaction (β=0.237, T=2.375, p=0.026). These findings confirm that a combination of optimal working hours management, effective knowledge management systems, and transparent performance appraisal mechanisms can enhance employee well-being and satisfaction while encouraging more adaptive human resource management policies.

Abstract

Renewable energy in microgrid systems naturally uses direct current (DC) voltage sources such as solar, hydrogen, fuel cells and wind. On the other hand, electronic device technology is also increasingly developed with the emergence of devices based on DC voltage sources. However, integration between DC voltage sources and DC electronic equipment has not been widely developed in Indonesia. Based on these problems, research will be conducted on the implementation of the DC microgrid system. The methodology of this research is to create a minimum DC microgrid system consisting of photovoltaic (PV), solar charge controller (SCC), battery and dummy load which are integrated and tested using two test scenarios. During the test, the characteristics of voltage, power flow, and battery charge discharge process were observed against load variation. The results showed that under low-load conditions, mutual charging occurred between batteries connected in parallel. When the PV power exceeds the load power, the load is supplied by the PV but when the PV power is less than the load power, the load is supplied by the PV and battery. The contribution of power flow to the load is determined by the PV supply capacity, battery voltage, and impedance. The state of charge (SOC) of a battery cannot be used as a representation of the battery voltage when the circuit is closed circuit. These findings highlight the importance of impedance and PV capacity management in DC microgrid design and support further development of efficient and resilient DC based energy systems in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the impact of transportation accidents on investor confidence and stock price volatility in transportation companies. The main objective is to examine the effect of profitability, firm size, and firm growth on stock prices in the transportation sector following accident incidents. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data derived from the annual reports of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample was determined through purposive sampling based on specific criteria relevant to transportation accident cases. A total of 11 companies were selected as the research sample covering the period 2022–2024. Data analysis was conducted using EViews 12 software. The findings reveal that profitability, firm size, and firm growth simultaneously affect stock prices. In general, transportation accident incidents exert a negative pressure on the stock performance of transportation companies listed on the IDX. The study confirms that internal factors such as profitability, firm size, and growth remain crucial determinants of stock prices, particularly when companies face external shocks such as transportation accidents. The implication is that companies need to strengthen financial performance and ensure transparent information disclosure to maintain stock value stability and mitigate the adverse effects of unexpected events.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Managerial Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, Audit Committee, Leverage, and Profitability on the disclosure of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 371 observational data. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results show that the Audit Committee has a significant negative effect on SDGs disclosure and leverage has a significant positive effect on SDGs disclosure, while Managerial Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Profitability have no significant effect on SDGs disclosure in financial sector companies listed on the IDX. The implications of this research result in policy formulation, where the research results can strengthen the argument for the need for more detailed and measurable SDGs disclosure standards, so that they do not stop at merely normative narratives. Keywords: Managerial Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, Audit Committee, Leverage, Profitability, Sustainable Development Goals ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Dewan Komisaris Independen, Komite Audit, Leverage, dan Profitabilitas terhadap pengungkapan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) pada perusahaan sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2021-2024.
