Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Merupakan penyakit you disebarkan kemanusia och nyamuk Aedes Aegypt. Siklus hidupnya seperti nyamuk pada umumnya namun dengan kita menjaga diri, keluarga dan lingkungan maka sudah menjadi salah satu dari kewaspadaan kita dari DBD. Dalam program pengabdian yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa untuk mengetahui cara sederhana mengusir nyamuk dan mencegah penyakit DBD dengan menanam tanaman yang tidak disukai oleh nyamuk dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar dengan cara memberantas sarang nyamuk. Hasil pengabdian didapatkan bertambahnya pengetahuan dan wawasan siswa dalam mengatasi dan mencegah suapaya dapat terhindar dari penyakit DBD. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Pencegahan Penyakit DBD

Abstract

Sanitation clinics are created to improve the health status of the community through promotive, preventive, and curative efforts that are carried out in an integrated, focused and continuous manner. This study aims to see the implementation of a sanitation clinic at Jalan Gedang Health Center. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that describes the state of the object under study. The data collection used is by interview and observation with interview guidelines and observation sheets. Informants in this study were sanitarian officers, poly officers, head of RT, community, head of Jalan Gedang Public Health Center. This research was conducted on August 10 s.d. August 20, 2022 in the Working Area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center, Bengkulu City. The results of the research in the Working Area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center showed that there were 2 activities that had been going well and in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 13 of 2015, namely there had been counseling activities carried out by the Puskesmas in order to solve health problems due to the environment and the Puskesmas had several field review programs. namely IKL SAB, TTU Sanitation, Healthy Homes, and Drinking Water Depot Sanitation. There is 1 sanitation clinic activity at the Puskesmas that is not appropriate, namely intervention activities in the community which are only carried out if a case has occurred in the community. The conclusion of this study is that Jalan Gedang Health Center has several programs that function in preventing environmental-based diseases. However, intervention programs in the community must be implemented better before environmental-based disease cases arise.

Abstract

Background: The rise of Covid-19 cases has become a global issue. The government has issued guidelines for the public to reduce exposure and spread of disease or infection through personal hygiene. The purpose of this study is to ascertain community knowledge and attitudes toward personal hygiene in preventing Covid-19 in Bengkulu City. Method: This research method uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this quantitative study was taken using a simple random technique. Based on the calculation of the sample, the minimum sample size is 100 people. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires, univariate and bivariate analyses were performed. Results: The results were there was a significant association between personal hygiene knowledge toward Covid-19 prevention behaviors in Bengkulu City (p<0.05; OR= 2.6; CI 95%= 1.137-5.951). Knowledge is the collection of information about the occurrence and prevention of Covid-19, understood and acquired from the learning process throughout life, in which there are significant associations. In Bengkulu City, there was a significant association between people's attitudes toward personal hygiene and the prevention of Covid-19 (p<0.05; OR= 2.658; CI 95%= 1.184-5.969). Attitude is one of the factors that determine a person's actions in maintaining individual and group good in preventing disease. Conclusion: The results show that personal hygiene knowledge and attitudes are significantly associated with Covid-19 prevention behaviors.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is a major cause of infectious disease morbidity and mortality in the world. One of the causes of the high incidence of ARI is due to lack of knowledge about ARI. One thing that can be done to increase knowledge is to provide health education about ARI. This community service aims to provide education about ARI disease during the pandemic at SMPN 6 Bengkulu Tengah. This activity was attended by 20 students using LCD projectors and leaflets. The method used is lectures and discussions as well as pre-test and post-test. The results of the pre-test of students' knowledge of ARI with the most lack of knowledge were 8 people (40.0%) while after being given education in the form of health counseling, the increase in participants' knowledge became a sufficient level of 10 people (50.0%). Hopefully the results of this research can be useful for students.

Abstract

Maintenance of personal hygiene is necessary both for individual comfort, safety, and health. Area coastal is one of the marine waters environment easily affected by the discharge of waste from land. Methods and community service activities used pre-experiment with a re-treatment design (one group pre and post test design). Counseling was held on December 19, 2022. Based on the dedication that has been carried out in Rt.11 Rw.03 Lempuing Village, Ratu District Agung Bengkulu City about personal hygiene at coastal communities, it can be concluded that there is influence counseling on increasing the knowledge of residents of Rt.11 Rw.03 Lempuing Village, Ratu Agung City District Bengkulu.

Abstract

Masyarakat pesisir pada umumnya telah menjadi bagian masyarakat yang pluraristik tapi masih tetap memiliki jiwa kebersamaan. Artinya bahwa struktur masyarakat pesisir ratarata merupakan gabungan karakteristik masyarakat perkotaan dan pedesaan. Hal menarik adalah bahwa bagi masyarakat pesisir, hidup di dekat pantai merupakan hal yang paling diinginkan untuk dilakukan mengingat segenap aspek kemudahan dapat mereka peroleh dalam berbagai aktivitas kesehariannya. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan antara masa kehidupan anak-anak dan masa kehidupan orang dewasa yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan biologis dan psikologis. Secara biologis ditandai dengan tumbuh dan berkembangnya seks primer dan seks sekunder sedangkan secara psikologis ditandai dengan sikap dan perasaan, keinginan dan emosi yang labil atau tidak menentu. Masa remaja merupakan masa fungsi organ reproduksi dan sistem hormonal mulai bekerja, secara alamiah remaja menjadi sangat ingin tahu tentang seks. Keingintahuan remaja biasanya disalurkan lewat perbincangan dengan teman sebaya, mencari informasi dari sumber-sumber pornografi, dan lalu mempraktekkan dengan diri sendiri, pacar, teman, atau orang lain. Pada survey yang dilaksanakan tim ke SMK Negeri 07 Kota Bengkulu, yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 November 2022, diketahui dari hasil wawancara dengan salah satu guru yang mengejar di SKM Negeri 07 Kota Bengkulu, siswa/i yang bersekolah di SMK 07 Negeri Kota Bengkulu memang banyak yang berasal dari masyarakat pesisir pantai, sehingga tim memutuskan melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan di SKM 07 Negeri Kota Bengkulu dengan pertimbangan pada sekolah tersebut ada beberapa kasus anak yang putus sekolah yang didukung banyak faktor seperti, pernikahan, kenakalan remaja dan masih banyak lagi. Sehingga tema yang akan kami sampaikan pada saat penyuluhan berkaitan guna untuk memenuhi tugas mata kuliah kesehatan masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pengelolaan emas dengan mengunakan alat yang di sebut dengan proses almalgamasi dilakukan dengan cara tradisional dengan mengunakan merkuri (Hg) hingga menghasilkan limbah yang umumnya masih mengandung merkuri dibuang langsung ke air sungai dan bersentuhan dengan biota air dan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui diketahui pengaruh edukasi booklet terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan pemanfaatan masyarakat tentang bahaya merkuri. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dengan metode kuantitatif analisis statistik yaitu uji Nonparametrik test Uji Wilcoxon. rancangan ini mengunkan 2 kelompok (KK dan KE) dengan pengukuran pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel yaitu sebanyak 36 sampel yang terbagi atas kelompok eksprimen 18 dan kelompok kontrol 18, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tambang Saweak Kecamatan Pinang Belapis Kabupaten Lebong yang di lakukan pada tanggal 28 Febuari-01 Maret 2022 dengan mengunakan istrumen berupa kuisioner, booklet, pena dan kamera. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Pada hasil analisis univariat diperoleh mayoritas umur responden berumur 37-47 tahun, jenis kelamin responden adalah perempuan dengan 36 responden, dengan pendidikan terakhir mayoritas responden adalah SD. Hasil Adanya pengaruh edukasi booklet tentang bahaya merkuri terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap. Kesimpulan: Sebagai upaya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, edukasi menggunkan booklet efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat.

Abstract

Sebagian besar penyakit yang sering diderita anak usia sekolah (usia 6–10) ternyata berkaitan dengan PHBS. Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di sekolah merupakan upaya memperdayakan peserta didik, guru, dan masyarakat lingkungan sekolah agar tahu, mau, dan mampu mempraktikkan PHBS dan berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan sekolah sehat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Total sampel 62 siswa analisis data menggunakan uji chi squre. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara variabel pengetahuan dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,226), kantin sekolah dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,378), tempat sampah dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,785), dan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara variable sikap dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,013), jamban dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,027). Kesimpulan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap, penggunaan jamban dengan penerapan PHBS di SDN 42 Kota Bengkulu. Saran Bagi sekolah agar pihak sekolah lebih memperhatikan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) siswa, dalam hal ini melengkapi fasilitas sarana yang masih kurang dan menetapkan peraturan yang mendukung kebiasaan di sekolah.

Abstract

The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of Bengkulu Province is still at 2.31, meaning that there are still Women of Reproductive Age who have children >2. This condition affects the non-fulfillment of basic family needs.  The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing fertility based on demographic, social, and economic factors in Women of Reproductive Age in Bengkulu Province. This study is a study that uses secondary data from the Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (IDHS) in 2017. The population in this study is 49,250 households nationally. The number of households that were successfully interviewed in Bengkulu Province was 850. Ever married women aged 15-49 years were 809 people. Furthermore, the weighted sample was 364 people, from the weighted sample 274 samples met the criteria. The data analysis used in this study consisted of 3 types of data analysis, that is univariate analysis, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between demographic factors, namely maternal age (p = 0.000), and husband's age (p = 0.000) with Women of Reproductive Age fertility. There is a relationship between socioeconomic  factors,  that  is  maternal  education (0.026) with Women of Reproductive Age fertility in  Bengkulu  Province. The  dominant  factor causing fertility  was age at marriage (p = 0.019 and OR = 1.911).

Abstract

The visit of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus suffers who are members og the Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS) are quite high with 576 visits. Puskesmas Jalan Gedang Kota Bengkulu has the highest number of visits to 10 other Puskesmas. The purpose og this study is to detemine the implementation of PROLANIS program Puskesmas Jalan Gedang, Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative method. The informants have been involved in this study were 8 people consisting of 1 head of Puskesmas, 1 BPJS officer, 1 Person in charge of PROLANIS, and 5 PROLANIS participants. The data of the study were analyzed through data reduction, data review, and drawing conclusions or verification. PROLANIS program policy has been programmed and planned according to the provisions. Personnel involved in PROLANIS activities were, health workers, BPJS parties, PROLANIS cadres and PROLANIS members. The process of conducting medical consultations for PROLANIS participants, cadres abd health workers, and education of PROLANIS participant groups with questions and answers and providing information, the home visit was less than optimal due to lock of the time and extensive work area of the puskesmas. Remembers sms program was still not optimally done, if there was a change in the schedule of PROLANIS activities were gymnastics.
