Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Field Project-based learning on improving students’ creative and innovative thinking skills through entrepreneurship textbooks at Universitas Hamzanwadi. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving 40 students enrolled in entrepreneurship courses. Data were collected using validated creative and innovative thinking tests and analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and N-gain analysis. The results show that the average pretest score increased from 62.4 to 81.7 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test result indicates t = 9.86 with p < 0.05. The N-gain value of 0.63 falls into the moderate-to-high category. These findings indicate that Field Project-based learning is effective in enhancing students’ creative and innovative thinking skills and supports learning outcomes aligned with the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy and higher education Key Performance Indicators (IKU).

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of SNP, its implementation in educational institutions, as well as the challenges and strategies to improve its achievement. The National Education Standards (SNP) serve as the primary quality framework that guides the implementation of education in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing official documents, books, and relevant scholarly articles. The findings indicate that although SNP plays a strategic role as a national quality benchmark, its implementation remains hindered by limited teacher competence, disparities in educational facilities, technological barriers, and suboptimal policy coordination. Strengthening teacher capacity, ensuring equitable distribution of educational facilities, utilizing educational technology, and implementing continuous evaluation systems are essential to optimize SNP implementation. With strong collaboration among stakeholders, the SNP can function as an effective and sustainable quality assurance instrument in the national education system. Effective implementation of the SNP has a direct impact on improving the quality of learning by promoting standardized instructional processes, enhancing student engagement, and supporting the achievement of learning outcomes. Furthermore, consistent adherence to SNP encourages the development of a conducive learning environment that fosters students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies. With strong collaboration among stakeholders, the SNP can function as an effective and sustainable quality assurance instrument in the national education system.

Abstract

Unemployment is one of the most serious issues facing Indonesia and must be addressed promptly, as it has a direct impact on public welfare and economic growth. This challenge is also evident in Jambi Province, which continues to face difficulties in providing sufficient employment opportunities for its residents. A key solution to reducing unemployment is to encourage entrepreneurship among Generation Z—who are creative, innovative, and capable of leveraging digital technology to create new business opportunities. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing entrepreneurial interest among students at the University of Jambi using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The research employed a quantitative survey method, with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The exogenous variables examined include social and family environment, innovation and creativity, and technology. The Entrepreneurial interest serving as the endogenous variable. The results of the analysis indicate that all exogenous variables have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest, with an R² value of 0.59. It is means that 59% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest can be explained by the model. Innovation and creativity were found to have the most dominant influence, with a parameter value of 0.352. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening innovation and creativity in fostering students’ entrepreneurial interest.
