Abstract

Penelitian ini berujuan buat mengetahui media pembelajaran interaktif dan menyenangkan berbasis kahoot. Kahoot adalah aplikasi satu media yang bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran online yang berisikan kuis dan game. Media pembelajaran interaktif misalnya kahoot bisa dipakai pada aktivitas belajar mengajar misalnya latihan soal, penguasaan materi dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan buat mengetahui pemahaman siswa dengan penerapan kahoot menjadi media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian ini memakai desain metode kualitatif menggunakan setting lokasi merupakan sekolah SMA swasta bandung.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has diversity, starting from culture and customs in the era of globalization, so it is necessary for students of the nation's generation to preserve culture through the independent education program (MBKM), independent campus learning, one of the second batch of independent student exchange programs launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture, many universities are encouraging students to take part in one of them is HKBP Nommensen University Medan which sends its students to existing universities starting from Sabang-Merauke which are student destination universities namely Jakarta State University and Trunojoyo Madura University. The students carry out cross-major lecture activities, in the independent student exchange program students also carry out Nusantara module activities which aim to get to know the cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia through this students can get to know the culture at the destination university and even make friends with various ethnic groups so that students know the beauty of life various. Students register through the MBKM account through file registration following the exam selection until departure to the destination university. So by participating in the second batch of domestic independent student exchange activities, students become more enthusiastic about getting to know culture, preserving culture, learning across new science majors and even adding to relationships and taking care of and respecting one another.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of inductive thinking learning models in physics learning on Vibration and Wave Material of Grade VIII in SMPN Bosar Galugur Village, Tanah Jawa Sub-District. This type of research is a "true" experimental research with a research population that is all grade VIII junior high students in Bosar Galugur Village, Tanah Jawa Sub-District. With the Cluster Random Sampling technique, it is considered a research sample of experimental classes (13 students) and control classes (12 students). The instruments used are student results tests with multiple selection forms that have been performed through validation tests as well as student activity observation sheets. The results of the data analysis were an average score of 61.92 experiment class post-test with a standard deviation of 10.11 and an average post-test control class score of 41.66 with a standard deviation of 12.49. The hypothesis of this study was tested with a one-party t test for experiment class post test data and control classes for α=0.05 and dk=23 obtained thitung =4.48 and ttabel =1.71, with thitung>ttabel then Ha accepted and H0 rejected. Thus it can be concluded based on the above calculation results that there is a significant influence of inductive thinking learning model in physics learning on Vibration and Wave Material Grade VIII in Bosar Galugur Village of Tanah Jawa Sub-district.

Abstract

Pengintegrasian kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran fisika merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sekaligus memperkuat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan e-book interaktif fisika berbasis kearifan lokal dengan pendekatan pembelajaran inkuiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen penelitian mencakup angket validasi ahli, tanggapan guru dan siswa, serta tes objektif untuk menilai pemahaman konsep fisika. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media ajar memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat tinggi dari segi konstruk media (86%) dan kesesuaian isi materi (88%). Respon guru dan siswa juga sangat positif dengan capaian masing-masing 86%. Implementasi media ajar pada pembelajaran fisika materi fluida dinamis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 66 meningkat menjadi 94 pada posttest, serta ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 97,2%. E-book interaktif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan, efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika. Media ini dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang bermakna melalui integrasi konteks budaya lokal dan pendekatan inkuiri.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics learning media in the form of UNO Cards to enhance students’ learning motivation in physics learning, particularly on the topic of heat for Grade XI high school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of five students in the small group trial and 19 Grade XI students from SMA Swasta Methodist 7 Medan in the field trial. The developed learning media was validated by content and media experts and was declared highly feasible, with an average feasibility score of 90% by content experts and 90.5% by media experts. The small group trial achieved an average feasibility score of 94%, while the field trial showed an average of 91%. In addition, the use of UNO Physics Cards was proven to increase students' learning motivation from the “moderate” category (65.18%) to the “very high” category (89%). The results indicate that the UNO Physics Card media is effective, feasible, and capable of increasing students’ motivation in learning physics. Therefore, this media can serve as an innovative alternative in classroom learning processes

Abstract

Conceptual skills in physics are an essential foundation for students to understand natural phenomena deeply and analytically, yet conventional teaching often fails to connect abstract theory with real-life contexts. This study aims to develop a physics learning module integrated with the local wisdom of the Toba Batak Taganing on mechanical wave material to enhance students' conceptual skills. The developed module links concepts of waves, resonance, and interference with the acoustic principles of the Taganing musical instrument through a Problem-Based Learning approach. Expert validation results demonstrated a high level of feasibility, with details of 78% (Feasible category) by subject matter experts, 85% (Highly Feasible) by cultural experts, and 97% (Highly Feasible) by language experts. A limited trial with grade XI students showed an improvement in conceptual skills, specifically an abstraction ability of 71% (Good) and systematic thinking of 72% (Good). Teacher and student responses to the module were very positive, with a practicality level of 81%, indicating that the module is not only easy to use but also contextual and engaging. These findings confirm that integrating local wisdom into ethnoscience-based physics learning design is not only effective in strengthening students' conceptual understanding but also plays a strategic role in preserving cultural heritage and fostering learning engagement.

Abstract

In the era of technology-based learning, innovation is required to connect physics concepts with real-world phenomena to enhance students’ deep and meaningful understanding. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a contextual learning strategy based on geoelectric principles using the Electrical Conductivity Soil Geoelectric (ECSG) sensor to improve high school students’ understanding of resistivity and electrical conductivity concepts. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 34 students of class XI Science at SMA Negeri 1 Pagaran, North Tapanuli Regency. The research instruments consisted of a conceptual understanding test, procedural skills observation, and a student response questionnaire. The results showed an increase in the average score from 46.50 to 75.80 with an N-Gain value of 0.55, categorized as moderate. Procedural skills achieved an average score of 3.33 (good category), while student responses to the learning implementation reached an agreement level above 85% (very good category). These findings indicate that the application of geoelectric sensor technology in physics learning can enhance measurement accuracy, active participation, and students’ learning motivation. Thus, the ECSG-based geoelectric contextual approach is effective in strengthening conceptual understanding, scientific skills, and the relevance of physics learning to real-life contexts in agrarian environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Mata Pelajaran Fisika Kelas XI SMA Berbasis Phyphox, serta untuk mengidentifikasi Minat Dan Motivasi Belajar Fisika peserta didik Kelas XI SMA setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis Phyphox. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D), dengan model ADDIE dengan tahapan Tahap Analysis (Analisis), Tahap Design (perancangan), Tahap Development (pengembangan), Tahap Implementation (Implementasi), Tahap Evaluation (Evaluasi). Dengan melibatkan peserta didik kelas XI-1 SMA Negeri 8 Medan sebagai objek penelitian dan empat orang ahli dalam validasi media. Setelah dilakukan validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, diperoleh rata-rata nilai persentase sebesar 88,13% untuk ahli materi dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan 76,92% untuk ahli media dengan kategori “Layak”. Dari data pengukuran minat dan motivasi peserta didik kelas XI-1 setelah diberikan angket respon peserta didik dan juga penilaian berdasarkan pengamatan observer diperoleh hasil data sebesar sebesar 83,06% untuk Minat dan 83,28% untuk Motivasi dengan kriteria “Sangat Tinggi”.

Abstract

This program is an activity carried out to improve the matriculation program and build student character through an innovative approach. This activity takes place every time after school and is carried out at the school in stages starting from class X and class XI. Apart from providing free matriculation tutoring, discussion time with students discusses assignments and meetings aimed at building character. This matriculation program is carried out by means of teaching and training by providing material and practice questions for each activity carried out. PkM activities are carried out at SMA N 4 Binjai from 14.30 WIB to 16.00 WIB every Monday to Thursday followed by Saturdays and the student character building program is carried out on Fridays and Saturdays twice a month during PkM. PKM with the title "Improving the Matriculation Program and Building Student Character Through an Innovative Approach" shows that through an innovative approach in the matriculation program, not only academic improvement occurs, but also the strengthening of student character. Learning not only improves understanding of concepts, but also forms students' creativity, critical thinking and social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction with the services of FKIP HKBP Nommensen University thesis advisors during the Covid pandemic period 2020-2022. To obtain data on the level of student satisfaction with lecturer guidance services, an instrument was designed in the form of a student satisfaction questionnaire with lecturer guidance services using satisfaction indicators that had been assessed for validity and reliability prior to use. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the results of the study were analyzed using the SKM method based on a student satisfaction survey. The data analysis carried out showed that the level of student satisfaction during the Covid pandemic was included in the very good and good categories. The results also show that forecasting student perceptions of lecturer guidance services with the assumption that perceptions increase, a satisfaction value of 3.5629 will be obtained in the "very good" category, and if it is assumed that it is still decreasing, the satisfaction value obtained is 3.4375, still in the the "good" category which states that the level of satisfaction of FKIP UHN students with the thesis guidance services provided by supervisors during the pandemic was still very good.
