Abstract

Modernization of Islamic education cannot be separated from the rise of Muslims in modern times, Islamic thought and institutions including education (pesantren) must be modernized, ie renewed in accordance with the framework of modernity. This study aims to identify how pesantren modernization patterns are carried out in three pesantren representing Islamic mass organizations, namely Al-Falah Pesantren, Darul Arqom Pesantren and PERSIS Tarogong Pesantren, with the hope of obtaining information on similarities and differences in general patterns related to modernization pesantren education. This type of research is field research with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that there were similarities and differences in the pattern of modernization in Islamic mass organizations based on Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education with a multicultural perspective in elementary schools. The research was conducted at Cipayung 04 Public Elementary School. The research method used a qualitative case study. Sources of data teachers, principals, and students. The research instrument used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include: data collection, data reduction, data verification and data display. The results of the multicultural-based implementation of Islamic religious education research through: 1) The new student admission policy does not discriminate between ethnicity, race and religion; 2) Implementation of learning upholds the values ​​of mutual respect, openness, compassion, conflict resolution and reconciliation and violence; 3) Realizing tolerance in religious life in life between all members of the community in daily life in the school environment. Multicultural values ​​are a process of acquiring knowledge, developing attitudes and behavior to live in mutual respect, tolerance, full of peace, mutual assistance and non-violence. Islamic religious education is education that focuses more on improving the mental attitude that is manifested in actions, both for the needs of oneself and others, both theoretically and practically. This research focuses on three studies, firstly all forms of multicultural values ​​in learning Islamic religious education at Cipayung 04 Public Elementary School. So it is related to efforts regarding multicultural-based learning so far because the school does not have multiculturalism, the school places more emphasis on character education. One of education, cultural education can be in the form of mutual cooperation, mutual respect, responsibility, discipline. So character education is very important to achieve quality education for students. If the character has been formed early on in order to make quality and qualified students. And in practice learning is also more respectful and tolerant among peers, in learning it emphasizes Pancasila values ​​in respecting diversity.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbedaan dalam pencapaian siswa antar kelas yang menggunakan kegiatan belajar mengajar berbasis teknologi dan kelas yang menggunakan kegiatan belajar mengajar non teknologi pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 1 Ciampel. Studi ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen yang bersifat kuasi (quasi- experimental design). proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta observasi terstruktur. Pelaksanaan analisis data dengan perhitungan rata-rata nilai pre test dan post test serta uji N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan pencapaian belajar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan jika kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi mengalami peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 18,77 poin, sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media non teknologi hanya meningkat sebesar 9,5 poin. Penerapan media pembelajaranberbasisteknologimenunjukkanbahwalebihefektifdalampeningkatanpencapaian belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan media non teknologi. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran PAI berbasis teknologi antara lain interaktivitas dan daya tarik media yang digunakan. Media teknologi memberikan visualisasi lebihb unggul, meningkatkan potensi siswa, serta menciptakan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang menarik serta tidak monoton. Siswa menjaditidakpasif, termotivasi, dan mempunyaipengetahuanyanglebihmendalamterkaitmateri pembelajaran. Analisis ini memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan teknologi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar mempunyai efek yang baik dimana dapat menigkatkan pengetahuan dan capaian belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the development of Pai's curriculum in Indonesia in relation to 21st century competency needs. The method used in this study is a library study in which authors seek, collate, and analyze a variety of information from a variety of relevant sources. The beginning of the 21st century marked the rapid development of information and communication technology and the beginning of free competition between nations in all fields. As a result, student life today is different and much more complicated than it used to be. Indications for the results of this study include: Development of a PAI-based curriculum. In the era of Industry 4.0 revolution, Islamic religious education faces the challenge of destruction. Advances in digital technology have enabled everyone to access and quickly connect to all kinds of information through the Internet and it's innovations (the Internet of Things). This study uses a library survey method to collect and analyze library data. The research results show the adjustment of the Islamic education curriculum in the 4.0 era. The purpose of Islamic education is to produce educated Islamic intellectuals. The traditional blending and technology defense method is blended learning, and the content of things must adapt to the state and needs of skills in the 4.0 era, comprehensive assessment and shared responsibility (educational ecosystem). Educators had to convince her 4.0. Century needed compatibility. And infrastructure tools that adapt as technology evolves.

Abstract

This article was written to examine the concept of tauhid as the substance of Islamic Education. The research method used is based on a qualitative approach using a literature review method of literature both sourced from interpretations and thoughts of Islamic Education figures. The results showed that the obligation of an educator towards his child is to teach the values of monotheism and prevent it from doing polytheism. The teachings of monotheism that Luqman al-Hakim gave to his child are in accordance with the natural potential of the child, as it is known that every human being before birth into the world has claimed that God is his God. This study recommends that all stakeholders of Islamic Education internalize the values of monotheism in the curriculum of education in schools and Madrasas.

Abstract

The research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the character education of Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 51 Bekasi. This research utilizes a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data collection was carried out by interviewing relevant teachers and students and analyzing documentation related to the research. The results indicate that there are six dimensions of P5, consisting of: (1) Faith and Piety to God Almighty and Noble Character; (2) Mutual Cooperation; (3) Critical Thinking; (4) Creativity; (5) Independence; (6) Global Diversity. From these six dimensions, it can be concluded that Islamic Religious Education learning is not merely about instilling values of faith and piety to Allah SWT and noble character. More than that, Islamic Religious Education learning, particularly at SMP Negeri 51 Bekasi, has represented or proven that this learning can instill all aspects of the P5 dimensions. Therefore, it can be said that Islamic Religious Education learning, particularly at SMP Negeri 51 Bekasi, has been comprehensive in its implementation.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembinaan baca tulis Alqur’an (BTQ) kepada narapidana di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Iman, Lapas II A Klari Karawang. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam pembinaan ini adalah tingkat literasi yang rendah dan keterbatasan pengetahuan agama di kalangan narapidana. Oleh karena itu, metode Abahata Al-Jabari dipilih sebagai pendekatan yang efektif untuk memfasilitasi narapidana dalam mempelajari Alqur’an secara sistematis dan bertahap. Program pengabdian ini berlangsung selama enam bulan, dengan dua kali sesi pertemuan setiap minggu. Kegiatan pembinaan melibatkan pengenalan huruf hijaiyah, pengucapan, serta pengajaran membaca Alqur’an secara bertahap. Metode Abahata Al-Jabari yang digunakan dalam program ini dirancang agar sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta, memungkinkan narapidana yang belum pernah belajar Alqur’an sekalipun untuk dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik. Narapidana diberikan bimbingan intensif dan motivasi untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pembinaan. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala untuk mengukur perkembangan kemampuan membaca Alqur’an para peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 80% dari narapidana mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca Alqur’an, serta ada perubahan positif dalam sikap spiritual dan moral mereka. Narapidana merasa lebih tenang dan mendapatkan dukungan emosional melalui pembinaan ini. Program pengabdian ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif, tidak hanya dalam hal kemampuan baca tulis Alqur’an, tetapi juga dalam pembinaan mental dan spiritual narapidana. Metode Abahata Al-Jabari terbukti efektif dan cocok untuk diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran di Lapas. Diharapkan program ini dapat menjadi model yang berkelanjutan dan diterapkan di lembaga pemasyarakatan lainnya untuk pembinaan narapidana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mempertahankan hafalan Juz 30 melalui metode muraja'ah pada santri di Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) Al Amanah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang memungkinkan suatu informasi secara mendalam mengenai pelaksanaan muraja'ah di madrasah tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dengan triangulasi sebagai metode validasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa muraja'ah dilaksanakan setiap hari sebelum pelajaran dimulai dengan metode bin nazhar (melihat mushaf) untuk santri pemula dan bil ghaib (tanpa melihat mushaf) untuk santri yang lebih mahir. Selain itu, terdapat program muraja'ah intensif setiap hari Jumat khusus untuk kelas III dan IV. Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam menjaga hafalan santri agar tidak mudah lupa. Meskipun demikian, pelaksanaannya menghadapi berbagai tantangan, di antaranya keterbatasan waktu belajar di rumah, gangguan konsentrasi, pemahaman terhadap makna ayat yang kurang, dan minimnya dukungan orang tua. Untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut, guru melakukan pendampingan pribadi dan berupaya melibatkan orang tua dalam proses tahfidz di rumah. Secara keseluruhan, metode muraja'ah di MDTA Al Amanah efektif dalam mempertahankan dan memperkuat hafalan Juz 30, namun optimalisasi dukungan dari keluarga dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif tetap diperlukan.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the extent of the effect character education management towards the discipline of students in SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang.This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires through Google Form.The population in this study were all students in the SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang, totaling 138 students. The technique used in sampling uses the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% of 138 students, the research sample is 103 students or respondents.The results of data analysis showed a correlation value of  0.527 showed that there was a moderate correlation between character education management (X) and student discipline (Y).The correlation coefficient 0.527 is positive, which means there is a positive relationship.The correlation that occurred was significant because the Fcount value was 38.740>Ftable 3.93 with a significance level of 0.000<0.05, so Ho was rejected.This shows that there is a significant positive effect between the management of character education on the discipline of students in SMAIT Mentari IlmuKarawang.The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 27.7%.This shows that the discipline of students (Y) is determined by the management of character education (X) of 27.7%. While 72.3% determined other variables that were not the focus of this study. Keywords: Management, Character Education, Student Discipline Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengaruh manajemen pendidikan karakter terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan angket atau kuesioner melalui Google Form. Populasidalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik di SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang yang berjumlah 138 peserta didik. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan taraf kesalahan 5% dari 138 peserta didik maka didapat sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 103 peserta didik atau responden. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,527 menunjukkan adanya hubungan korelasi sedang antara manajemen pendidikan karakter (X) dengan kedisiplinan peserta didik (Y). Koefisien korelasi 0,527 bernilai positif yang berarti adanya hubungan yang positif. Korelasi yang terjadi signifikan karena diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 38,740 > Ftabel 3,93 dengan tingkat signifikasi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara manajemen pendidikan karakter terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang. Hasil koefisien determinasi (R2)yaitu sebesar 27,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan peserta didik (Y) ditentukan oleh manajemen pendidikan karakter (X) sebesar 27,7%. Sedangkan 72,3% ditentukan variabel lain yang bukan menjadi fokus penelitian ini.   Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Pendidikan Karakter, Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik

Abstract

The concept of insan kamil represents the ideal of the perfect human in Islam, reflecting spiritual, intellectual, and moral excellence. In the context of a rapidly changing global landscape shaped by social, technological, and value-based transformations, Islamic education is required to respond through a transformative approach that is both relevant and sustainable. This study aims to systematically examine how the concept of insan kamil is formulated and implemented within a transformative Islamic education model to address contemporary demands. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the research analyzed twelve scholarly articles published within the past five years focusing on insan kamil, Islamic education, and educational transformation. The review identified four central themes: the theoretical conceptualization of insan kamil, the dynamics of transformative change in Islamic education, the educational responses to global challenges, and the integration of spiritual values with global competencies in educational design. The findings reveal that insan kamil serves not only as a normative ideal but also as an implementable framework for curriculum reform, learning strategies, and character development. The main contribution of this article lies in its conceptual synthesis, which bridges Sufi thought with contemporary educational practice, providing an epistemological foundation for the development of holistic, contextual, and transformative Islamic education policies in the global era.
