Abstract

Abstract

The most significant hurdle to Islamic religious education and character education learning at vocational school was pupils' low enthusiasm in learning, especially in participation and attentiveness. Traditional learning approaches might not suit all student styles. Thus, this study seeks to empirically evaluate the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) compared to standard learning approaches in enhancing student interest in learning. This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design. At Vocational School 1 Bandar Lampung, grade XI pupils were divided into two groups: the experimental class (provided the SAVI model therapy) and the control class (given the conventional method treatment). The instrument was a learning interest questionnaire. Analysis included precondition tests (normality and homogeneity) and t-tests. The study confirmed normality (Sig. > 0.200) and homogeneity (Sig. Levene's Test = 0.601). A 2-tailed hypothesis test significance value of 0.031 was obtained. The null hypothesis (H0) is rejected because this value is less than 0.05, showing a significant learning interest difference. The mean difference value of 3.4667 shows that SAVI-taught students had considerably higher learning interest than the control group. This interest boosts targeted deficits in pupils' desire to learn. This study suggests an innovative learning paradigm that boosts interest in Islamic religious education and character education. This study supports the holistic learning approach, which stresses combining physical, aural, visual, and intellectual aspects to engage students.

Abstract

Indonesia holds vast potential for creative tourism through its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and local creativity. However, travelers still face challenges in planning optimal trips due to the lack of context-aware and real-time recommendation systems. In practice, tourists often rely on Google Maps reviews, which are unorganized thematically, and there is limited integration with weather conditions—an important factor that significantly impacts travel experiences, particularly for nature-based destinations. This study aims to develop a recommendation model for creative tourism destinations in Indonesia by integrating two key aspects: sentiment analysis of Google Maps reviews and real-time weather data. The research utilizes tourist reviews from Google Maps alongside up-to-date weather information from destinations across Indonesia. The reviews are analyzed using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to classify sentiments as positive or negative. These sentiment results are then combined with real-time weather data to build a Content-Based Filtering (CBF) recommendation system capable of providing more relevant and adaptive suggestions. The study successfully produced a recommendation system model with a testing accuracy of 90%.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores community perspectives on Yogyakarta, a culturally rich region in Indonesia known as "Jogja Istimewa," "Student City," and "City of Tourism." Given the potential challenges faced by the region, the research employs the K-Means Algorithm to analyze opinions gathered from Twitter, offering a novel alternative to traditional surveys. Using a data crawling method, relevant tweets about Yogyakarta were collected and processed through preprocessing and TF-IDF to enhance word significance. The findings reveal diverse community views regarding job opportunities, culture, tourism, religious activities, stakeholder involvement, and security. The application of K-Means clustering effectively highlights the multifaceted perspectives of Yogyakarta's residents, providing valuable insights for understanding the region’s socio-cultural dynamics.
