Abstract

Learning objectives can be achieved in various ways, one of which is by implementing learning strategies. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Theoanthropocentric learning strategies for improving students’ conceptual understanding skills. The research population is all junior high school students (SMP), and the sample comprises students from class VIII. The random cluster sampling technique was used to choose the study’s sample. The data collection method used in this research is the conceptual understanding test. Descriptive and inferential statistics serve for data analysis, including the independent t-test. The results show a significant difference between the conceptual understanding of students who used Theoanthropocentric learning strategies and those who did not use Theoanthropocentric learning strategies. The descriptive statistical test results show that the students in the experimental group have a higher mean score than students in the control group. The independent t-test result has strengthened the statistical test results, namely, 0.00 (p 0.05), from the finding, it follows that the application of theoanthropocentric learning strategies has an enormous impact on improving students’ conceptual understanding skills. Therefore, the Theoanthropocentric approach could be used as a solution to improve students’ conceptual understanding skills.

Abstract

The clash between Islam and culture often occurs in efforts to disseminate Islamic education to the society especially in areas with Muslim minority communities. This study aims to explore the integration of culture and Islam in Muslim minority areas in the context of implementing Islamic education. The research took place at two Madrasah Aliyah schools and one Madrasah Tsanawiyah located in Tarutung City. This study applied qualitative and phenomenological approach. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Triangulation techniques were used to analyze the data. The informants involved in this study were community leaders, educational leaders and religious leaders. The results of the study show that Islamic religion and culture can be integrated in socializing Islamic education to people in Muslim minority areas in Indonesia. Many aspects of Batak culture are maintained because they are in accordance with Islamic religious teaching. Some aspect of Batak culture that are contrary to Islamic religious teachings are adapted to be compatible with Islamic religious teachings. In this study, the integration of Islamic religion and Batak  culture  went fairly smoothly and is accepted by the community to deliver in Islamic education in the region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Lapas kelas II B Panyabungan. (2) Dampak implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam bagi Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan dalam peningkatan kesadaran beragama. (3) hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Lapas kelas II B. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan deskriptif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Lapas Kelas II Panyabungan dan Penceramah Kementerian Agama. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Waktu penelitian ini dimulai dari tanggal 4 Maret 2022 sampai dengan 12 Mei 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Lapas kelas II B Panyabungan dilaksanakan melalui kerja sama dengan Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Mandailing Natal dalam hal penunjukan imam shalat di Lapas, ceramah agama dan bimbingan shalat fardu berjamaah. (2) Dampak implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam bagi Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan dalam peningkatan kesadaran beragama yaitu penghayatan terhadap ajaran agama dalam bentuk ibadah dan kegiatan muamalah yang ditunjukkan dalam bentuk perilaku toleran dan menghargai serta penghormatan terhadap hak milik orang lain. (3) Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Lapas kelas II B, yaitu dibutuhkan usaha ekstra untuk mencari latar belakang kehidupan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan dan proses adaptasi Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan yang baru dengan kehidupan di Lapas dan program yang dijalankan.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan berbasis agama, memang seyogiyanya mampu mendidik siswa menjadi sosok yang berkarakter Islam. Mampu memahami nilai- nilai keislaman menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan siswa yang belajar di madrasah. Madrasah tsanawiyah setidaknya mampu membina keterampilan agama siswa untuk meningkatkan pengamalan agama siswa. Namun kenyataannya di lapangan masih jauh mengambang daripada harahapan, seperti yang ditemukan oleh penulis di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Sesuai dengan masalah yang ditemukan penulis di lapangan, maka peneliti merumuskan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana bentuk pembinaan keterampilan agama siswa di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, strategi guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembinaan keterampilan agama untuk meningkatkan pengamalan agama siswa di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembinaan keterampilan agama untuk meningkatkan pengamalan agama siswa di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Supaya hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh sesuai dengan yang ada di lapngan, maka peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan metode deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan penulis di lokasi penelitian yaitu: 1) Bentuk pembinaan keterampilan agama siswa di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal seperti pelaksanaan apel pagi, pembacaan do’a di awal dan diakhir pelajaran, dan melaksanakan shalat dhuhur berjama’ah, serta pembinaan keterampilan tajhizul mayit. 2) Strategi guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembinaan keterampilan agama untuk meningkatkan pengamalan agama siswa di MTsN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal yaitu strategi pembiasaan dan pemberian nasihat. 3) Faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembinaan keterampilan agama untuk meningkatkan pengamalan agama siswa dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai berikut: Faktor Pendukung (a) Minat Siswa, (b) Kemampuan Siswa, dan (c) Partisipasi orangtua. Faktor Penghambat (a) Kepribadian siswa, dan (b) Fasilitas ibadah yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah pada penelitian ini fokus pada Pelaksanaan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) dalam Meningkatkan Kreativitas Mengajar Guru Pai Di MAN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Pada teorinya dengan adanya forum MGMP dapat membina guru yang profesional dan kreativitas, namun kenyataanya masih jauh dari apa yang diharapkan, karena masih banyak guru PAI yang monoton dalam mengajar. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah di atas, maka peneliti merumuskan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana pelaksanaan musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) guru PAI di MAN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, bagaimana kreativitas mengajar guru PAI di MAN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, dan bagaimana dampak pelaksanaan musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) dalam meningkatkan kreativitas guru PAI di MAN Se Wilayah Pantai Barat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal Untuk menemukan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pelaksanaan musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) guru PAI dapat terlaksana dengan baik, yakni dengan waktu yang telah disepakati bersama, dan kadang bisa terlaksana tanpa jadwal yang ditentukan, dikarenakan adanya hal-hal yang harus dituntaskan. Jadwal pelaksanaan yang telah disepakati, yaitu pada awal ajaran baru, menjelang ujian tengah dan akhir semester, dan juga pada moment-moment yang terkait dengan pendidikan guru PAI. Kreativitas mengajar guru PAI berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dinyatakan yaitu: a) kreativitas dalam mengembangkan strategi, c) Kreativitas dalam memilih dan menggunakan media.Dampak pelaksanaan musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) dalam meningkatkan kreativitas guru PAI di berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu a) Mampu mengidentifikasi masalah dan cara memecahkan masalah yang ditemui dalam proses belajar mengajar, b) Pelaksanaan MGMP guru pendidikan agama mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mengajar, dan juga kreativitas mengajar.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School as an Islamic educational institution initially only taught religious knowledge. However, currently some Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia are trying to transform by adopting science education and even more focused on studying science. This is interesting because as a newcomer, the presence of Islamic Boarding School that has been transformed into a science boarding school is in great demand by the people of South Tapanuli. This research seeks to answer the paradigm that underlies the transformation, the underlying reasons and the purpose of the change. Methodologically, to read and analyze paradigm shifts in several Islamic boarding schools in South Tapanuli, this study uses an integration approach. Meanwhile, to capture the reasons that underlie the paradigm change and the purpose of the change, this research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study found that the transformative paradigm of science-religion is the paradigm that underpins the change. An important reality behind the transformation is the assumption that the Islamic boarding that existed so far has lost its dimension of reality. The main goal of the paradigm shift is to balance and revitalize science knowledge in educational institutions.

Abstract

The dichotomy of science in madrasa, science and technology material has not been integrated with Islam and vice versa. Habibie founded Insan Scholar to unite IPTEK with IMTAQ, and MAN IC South Tapanuli  was no exception.  This study aims to describe, discover, and explain the integration of IPTEK white IMTAQ of MIA subject groups in MAN Insan Cendekia South Tapanuli. The conclusions of this study are: The curriculum integration implemented at MAN Insan Cendekia South Tapanuli is the development of a curriculum set by the government. There are two patterns used by teachers in curriculum integration, namely Islamization of general science, and Spiritualization of learning. This can be seen from the integration steps contained in the plan, implementation, and evaluation of the program, namely: 1) Read greetings and prayers, 2) Apperception and ensure students memorize Qur’an and Hadith, 3) Review material from a general and Islamic angle, 4) Bringing students out of the room for natural learning, 5) Providing exercises and questions that can improve IPTEK and IMTAQ, 6) Motivation and re-awareness that all truth comes from God, 7) Closed with Kafaratul Majelis prayers and greetings.

Abstract

AbstrakKajian ini bertujuan untuk membahas perspektif strategi pembelajaran akhlak mulia membangun transformasi sosial siswa SMP. Manusia seutuhnya menjadi target capaian pendidikan dalam sebuah institusi, yang inti capaiannya meliputi aspek jasmani dan rohani dengan iman dan takwa sebagai landasannya. Dalam perspektif Islam kedua capaian itu tercakup dalam konsep fitrah membentuk akhlak mulia dalam konteks internal dalam dirinya dan eksternal ketika bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Perpaduan keduanya tampil dalam al-jism dan al-ruh yang terdiri dari al-‘`aql, al-qalb, dan al-nafs secara utuh dan terintegrasi melahirkan manusia berakhlak mulia. Dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan strategi afektif dengan pendekatan value centre, yakni pembela-jaran yang lebih mengedepankan sikap dan nilai, menyeimbangkan keaktifan guru dan murid dalam upaya membentuk hubungan sosial yang memiliki kesadaran dan bersinergis. Sinergisitas kesadaran antara keduanya membentuk kepatuhan, kepatutan, ketaatan dan keterampilan membina hubungan sosial yang baik di antara sesama siswa, juga secara timbal balik guru dan siswa dan lainnya.  AbstractThis study aims to discuss the perspective of learning strategies on morals social transformation to build noble in Junior High School. The whole man becomes the target of educational achievement in an institution, which the core of the achievements includes physical and spiritual aspects with the faith and piety as its foundation. In the Islamic perspective of both the achievements included shaping the nature of the concept of noble character in the context of the internal and external on hisself when socializing with the surrounding environment. The combi-nation of both appears in al-jism and al-ruh consisting of al-'`aql, al-Qalb, and al-nafs as a whole and integrated human childbirth noble. In the learning is used affective strategies to approach the value center, which it emphasizes learning attitudes and values, balancing the activity of teachers and students in an effort to form social relationships and synergy awareness. The synergy awareness is among compliance form, decency, obedience and social skills of a good relati-onship among students as well as reciprocity and other teachers and students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the theory which is then analyzed again into a new finding. This type of research is quantitative with a collaborative method obtained from a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of parental communication (X1) towards adolescent morals (Y) has a correlation of 0.890 or 89% showing a very strong relationship. The correlation of emotional intelligence of parents (X2) with the morals of adolescents (Y) has a value of 0.926 or 92% indicating a very strong relationship. Whereas to test the significance level of F 5%, the effect of parental communication patterns on adolescent behavior shows that Fh (270,761) Ft (0,000) shows an appropriate and acceptable relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the parenting style of single parent parents in supporting children's education at MTsS al-Abror Muarasoma, Batang Natal District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The results showed that the type of democratic parenting performed by single parents was more dominant in supporting children's formal education. Meanwhile, authoritarian and permissive parenting styles still support children's education, but they are lower than democratic parenting. In democratic parenting, parents always control the development of their children, especially in terms of education. Parents always give their best for the development of their children's education both material issues such as school supplies, pocket money and others, as well as in material such as motivation, encouragement and praise. In authoritarian parenting, the attitude of parents is very strict towards their children, especially in terms of their education and if the children violate the rules that have been made such as laziness to learn, playfulness and decreased reports, the parents give their children punishment so that the children -the children prioritize their education. In Primitive parenting, parents act permissively. Children are always given freedom in their children's lives, including in their education.Key Words: parenting style of single parent; formal education; children
