Abstract

The delivery of monotonous and less varied material, as well as the limited availability of teaching materials that can integrate technology and visualizations in a foreign language, has become an obstacle in improving students' motivation and understanding. Therefore, it is necessary to develop innovative, interactive, and relevant teaching materials that meet the needs of students in the digital era. The use of Google Sites-based media, equipped with images in English, is expected to enrich the learning experience and increase students' interest in understanding Fiqh material. This study aims to develop Fiqh teaching materials based on Google Sites equipped with English-language images, and to examine the feasibility and effectiveness of these materials in the learning process at MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results of the study indicate that the developed teaching materials received an excellent rating from media experts, material experts, and language experts with an average feasibility percentage of 93.78%. Statistical tests showed a P-value of 0.0000, indicating that the use of Google Sites-based teaching materials had a significant impact on improving students' learning outcomes. Positive student responses also supported this finding, as they felt that the learning process became more interesting, easily accessible, and helped them better understand the material. These teaching materials contribute significantly to providing innovative, effective Fiqh learning media that also support the strengthening of foreign language literacy in the context of madrasah education.

Abstract

The collective trauma experienced by the community after natural disasters in Indonesia has a profound psychological impact. This research aims to explore the role of religion in the collective trauma recovery process. This study uses a literature study. This method was used to analyze literature related to the function of religion as a source of emotional, spiritual, and social support in dealing with trauma. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that religion has a significant role in post-disaster recovery through three main aspects. First, religion provides meaning and hope through spiritual beliefs, which helps individuals and communities overcome feelings of loss and uncertainty. Second, religious rituals, such as joint prayers and meaning ceremonies, are a means to strengthen community solidarity and create a safe space to express emotions. Third, religious institutions play a role in providing material assistance, spiritual counseling, and mobilizing volunteers to support the physical and mental recovery of victims. The study concludes that religion not only serves as a source of spiritual strength, but also as an effective social tool in reducing the impact of collective trauma

Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era faces challenges as well as significant opportunities in presenting Islamic values to the younger generation. This literature study method aims to analyze the influence of digital technology developments on Islamic education, especially in the aspects of curriculum, learning methods, and media used. Digital literacy is the main skill that educators must have to effectively integrate technology into the learning process. Platforms such as Islamic-based learning apps, e-learning, and social media have become potential tools in conveying religious teachings in an engaging and interactive manner. Threats in the form of access to negative content, lack of information filters, and potential deviations in moral values are also a concern. This research finds the importance of the role of teachers, parents, and educational institutions in ensuring that technology is used wisely to support the strengthening of Islamic character and moral character. Proper use of digital resources, Islamic education can remain relevant and adaptive to the needs of the times without overriding the essence of religious values. This article emphasizes the need for synergy between technology and spiritual approaches in shaping a generation of intelligent, faithful, and noble Muslims.

Abstract

The success of character education in schools depends greatly on teachers as mentors and role models. However, at SMA Negeri 1 Simangambat, issues like lack of discipline and disrespect still occur. To address this, the study developed an Islamic religious mentoring program aimed at improving students’ moral character. Using a Research and Development (R&D) method based on Plomp’s model, the research involved identifying problems, designing, implementing, and evaluating a mentorship guidebook. Results showed the product is highly valid (92.63%), practical (88.17%), and effective, with an N-Gain score of 0.48 and significant improvement (t = 1.70; p = 0.00). Thus, the guidebook is appropriate for use in fostering Islamic character education at SMA Negeri 1 Simangambat.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan tingkat praktikalisasi pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis web series bagi siswa fase D kelas VII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Panyabungan Kota dan untuk mengetahui produk media pembelajaran berbasis web series yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik bagi siswa Fase D kelas VII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Panyabungan Kota. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa validitas kelayakan produk dinyatakan valid, berdasarkan validasi intrumen angket oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan presentase untuk ahli materi 93,1% kriteria “sangat layak”. Ahli media 93,7% kriteria “sangat layak”. Jadi, seluruh peserta didik dinyatakan tuntas belajar dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar 100% dan presentase penigkatan hasil belajar setelah mengimplementasikan media. Tingkat praktikalitas diperoleh dari hasil lembar praktikalitas (angket respon guru) yang mendapatkan nilai praktikalitas oleh guru dengan rata-rata 92% kategori sangat praktis dari uji coba dan mendapatkan tingkat praktikalitas dari guru dengan rata-rata 92% termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Jadi Hasil belajar post-test kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Dengan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diperoleh dari penggunaan media yang menambah minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penggunaan media pembelajaran dengan webseries lebih baik dari pada peserta didik yang pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Fikih merupakan bagian penting dalam pendidikan agama Islam yang bertujuan membentuk peserta didik menjadi pribadi yang religius, berakhlak mulia, serta mampu memahami dan mengamalkan hukum-hukum syariat Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, tantangan globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi menuntut adanya inovasi dalam strategi pembelajaran agar materi Fikih tidak terasa monoton dan membosankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi-strategi pembelajaran Fikih yang efektif dan relevan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu dengan menelaah berbagai literatur seperti buku dan jurnal ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan topik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa strategi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam menyampaikan materi Fikih secara lebih menarik dan interaktif, antara lain: strategi problem solving, diskusi, cooperative learning, jigsaw, dan pembelajaran kontekstual. Strategi-strategi tersebut memungkinkan peserta didik untuk lebih aktif, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, strategi tersebut juga membantu menghubungkan materi ajar dengan realitas kehidupan, sehingga nilai-nilai fikih dapat diterapkan secara nyata. Dengan demikian, pemilihan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Fikih dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This article examines the paradigm of scientific integration in Islamic religious universities in Sumatra through a comparative and contextual approach. Although studies on scientific integration have grown rapidly, most remain confined to normative discussions and have not sufficiently examined how integration is constructed, interpreted, and implemented within diverse institutional contexts. Using a quasi-qualitative approach based on in-depth interviews, academic observations, document analysis, and focus group discussions (FGDs), this study explores the dynamics of scientific integration in three State Islamic Universities: UIN North Sumatra, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, and UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The findings show that scientific integration is not understood as a singular unification of religious and scientific disciplines, but as a multi-layered epistemological process encompassing philosophical orientations, methodological alignments, and academic practices. Variations in integration paradigms emerge according to each institution’s vision, historical trajectory, and academic strategy, shaping different models of curriculum design, research orientation, and academic culture. These results indicate that the paradigm of scientific integration in Sumatra develops in a dynamic and context-dependent pattern rather than as a standardized institutional model. Beyond the local context, this study offers a reflective analytical framework for understanding scientific integration as a living epistemological process, contributing to broader discussions on Islamic higher education and contemporary global epistemological challenges.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui arti metode pendidikan Islam, menguraikan dasar metode pendidikan Islam dan menjelaskan macam-macam metode pembelajaran yang sering digunakan dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada studi lapangan dimana data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah dan laporan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode memiliki kedudukan yang sangat fundamental dalam upaya mencapai tujuan Pendidikan Islam (PI). Metode, yang secara etimologis berarti jalan atau cara (thariqah), adalah langkah-langkah strategis yang harus dilalui agar sampai kepada tujuan pendidikan. Dasar metode dalam Pendidikan Islam bersumber langsung dari Al- Qur’an dan Al-Hadits. Prinsip utamanya termuat dalam firman Allah SWT di Q.S. An-Nahl (16): 125, yang memerintahkan pendidik untuk menggunakan Hikmah, Al-Mau’izah Al-hasanah (Nasihat yang Baik), dan Jadil hum bi al-lati hiya ahsan (Bantahan dengan Cara yang Lebih Baik). Macam-macam metode pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan Islam tidak terbatas pada teknik umum, tetapi juga mencakup metode khusus yang berakar pada Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah untuk membentuk karakter Muslim yang utuh. Metode- metode kunci tersebut meliputi metode Hiwar (Dialog) dan metode Amtsal (Perumpamaan)

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep peserta didik dalam pendidikan Islam, yang mencakup pengertian, kedudukan, serta perspektif Al-Qur'an. Peserta didik didefinisikan sebagai subjek aktif dengan fitrah suci (potensi bawaan) yang dikembangkan untuk menjadi insan kamil. Mereka memiliki kedudukan dualistik sebagai subjek sekaligus objek, yang diistilahkan sebagai mutarabbi, muta’allim, dan muta’addib. Berdasarkan perspektif Al-Qur'an, surah An-Nahl: 78 menjelaskan pengembangan potensi sejak lahir melalui panca indra dan hati. Sementara itu, surah An-Nisa: 170 menekankan universalitas peserta didik bagi seluruh manusia, dan surah Asy-Syura: 214 menegaskan pembinaan awal dimulai dari lingkup keluarga. Makalah ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan Islam ditentukan oleh optimalisasi fitrah dan pembentukan adab peserta didik.
