Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan serius di Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi tidak seimbang serta pola konsumsi makanan tidak sehat. MI Sholbiyah Simorejo menghadapi tantangan rendahnya kesadaran gizi di kalangan siswa dan orang tua, serta tingginya kebiasaan mengonsumsi camilan tinggi gula, garam, dan lemak (GGL). Kebiasaan ini berpotensi mengganggu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, serta meningkatkan risiko stunting. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mencegah stunting melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik konsumsi makanan sehat siswa dengan program kampanye Smart Snacking, edukasi gizi, serta intervensi pemberian camilan bergizi dan susu rutin. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa, guru, pengelola kantin, dan orang tua dalam identifikasi masalah, pelaksanaan program, serta refleksi hasil. Tahapan mencakup observasi partisipatif, edukasi gizi, distribusi makanan bergizi, dan pembuatan kebun gizi sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner pretest-posttest, dan pemantauan status gizi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan, sikap, dan kebiasaan konsumsi sehat siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak application as a learning media to improve students’ English-speaking skills in the extra class at MA Al-Bairuny. The research used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the AI-based Elsa Speak application, and a control group taught without the application. The research began with a pre-test to assess students’ speaking abilities. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 57.33, while the control group had an average of 61.67. During the treatment, the experimental group practiced speaking using Elsa Speak, which offers features such as pronunciation analysis and instant feedback. The control group continued learning through traditional methods without the application. After the treatment, a post-test was conducted. The experimental group showed significant improvement with an average score of 70.00, increasing by 12.67 points. Meanwhile, the control group showed only slight progress, with an average post-test score of 62.33, an increase of just 0.67 points. The results indicate that Elsa Speak is effective in improving students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. This research highlights the potential of AI-based technology to enhance the quality of English language education in the digital era.

Abstract

Training to learn the Al-Qur'an properly and correctly plays an important role in improving children's understanding of Islamic teachings. This training program aims to equip children with the ability to read, understand, and apply the Al-Qur'an properly. The approach method used in the community service activities of this community partnership program includes the SL (Service Learning) method. This method is an approach that connects learning with real experiences in the community. With an interactive and fun approach, this training not only improves the technical ability to read the Al-Qur'an but also instills children's love for the holy book and Islamic teachings. The results of the training showed a significant increase in children's ability to read the Al-Qur'an and their understanding of the content and meaning of the verses read. This study highlights the importance of good and correct religious education from an early age to form a strong character and religious understanding.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to develop TikTok video content as supplementary instructional media in speaking class for students of MA. Unggulan KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model was adapted to develop the product. The video contained of 25 topics that discussed how to pronounce some similar words that have different pronunciation. Based on the validation of material experts and media experts, it could be seen that the results of material expert validation were 3.8 (good) and the results of media expert validation was 3.4 (good). 20 students of MA. Unggulan KHA. Wahab Hasbullah involved on implementation phase. The results of interviews with teachers and students overall showed good responses to the use of Tiktok video learning media in the learning process. Based on those results, it can be concluded that TikTok can help them in learning English especially in pronunciation aspects.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Tawangsari Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, focusing on empowering village officials and local UMKM through digital technology utilization. The main objective was to enhance digital literacy among village officials in managing a YouTube channel as a means of public communication, while strengthening UMKM’ visual identity through logo and banner design. The program applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, consisting of several stages: needs assessment, planning, workshop implementation, intensive mentoring, and evaluation. The workshop was divided into two sessions, namely YouTube channel management (content creation, video editing, and account management) and visual design (logo and banner production for UMKM products). Evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test assessments, satisfaction questionnaires, and portfolio evaluation of participants’ outputs. The results revealed significant improvements in both digital literacy and visual design skills, as indicated by the increase of average scores from 55 to 83 for digital literacy, and from 50 to 80 for visual design. Furthermore, the village officials successfully launched the official YouTube channel of Tawangsari Village, while UMKM actors produced professional logos and banners to represent their product identity. The program not only improved technical skills but also raised awareness of the importance of branding and digital literacy as a strategy for strengthening competitiveness. In conclusion, ICT-based workshops proved effective in strengthening village community capacity. The main recommendation is the need for program sustainability through consistent content publication on YouTube, continuous use of UMKM logos, and advanced digital marketing training to expand market reach.

Abstract

The present study intended to develop E-learning media in teaching grammar for beginner learners. In developing the product, this study adapted the ADDIE model. The product that was developed using construct application focused on part of speech material. Thirty students of sixth grade enrolled on the implementation phase. Before implemented the product, some experts gave some suggestions and critics related to the quality of the product. The final product consists of some explanations of part of speech along with exercises, and in each exercise it is provided direct feedback whether the answer is right or wrong. On the first slide, a cover is displayed with attractive and colorful background since the target learner is beginner. The language used in this product is fully in English to habituate the learners with English environment. For the back sound, the researcher used rhythm only, not a song to avoid disturbing the learners. The researcher provides learning objectives. In this case there are three learning objectives. Then on the next slide it is showed eight part of speech that will be explained in detail. In material the researcher provided the definition and kinds of part of speech, also the example of part of speech. Moreover, the exercises were created in various types, ten questions in multiple choice and five questions in jumble word. This media can be used by anyone who needs it, and another researcher can develop similar media in different topic or level. HIGHLIGHTS: E-learning media that is implemented optimally can help the teacher in achieving learning objectives. E-learning media can be used as an alternative media during class instruction especially grammar instruction. In this digital era, the teacher is demanded to habituate to use e-learning media during class instruction.

Abstract

The purpose of current study is improving student grammar ability by applying magic finger method. The strategy is implemented during five meetings, and in the end of meeting the grammar test is administered to get the data. After implementing the strategies in four meetings, grammar test was administered, and the result of the test was more than a half of the students can mention 16 tenses and write simple sentence both in active and passive form. Since the result of the test has met the criteria of success so that the research can be stopped in the first cycle. Another researcher can continue this study in another research design such as experimental or research development study or in another level as like on secondary level.

Abstract

This research aims at developing reading textbook for Shariah Economy students of the first year. The strategy applied on the textbook was RSBI (Reading Strategy Based Instruction). In this study, the researcher adapted some steps of research and development that was invented by Borg and Gall. The steps in this research covered need analysis, products development, expert validation, revison, try out, and revision. The final Products of this study is reading material that is developed in form of textbook. The textbook consisted of eight units in which each unit applied different reading strategies, such as skimming, scanning, guesing, activating schemata, summarizing, higlighting, and semantic mapping. The activity in each unit is divided into three parts. They are vocabulary enrichment, reading passage, and reading compre.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of the important factors in strengthening the Indonesian economy, especially through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector which has proven to be resilient in facing the global crisis. Kepuhrejo Village, Jombang Regency, has abundant natural potential, such as tamarind and spices, but has not been optimally utilized. Through a community service program, students carry out training to maximize this natural potential in order to develop traditional herbal medicine-based products that can improve the local economy. This activity aims to build community interest in entrepreneurship, provide innovation in the utilization of local resources, and create sustainable business opportunities. The method used is Community Based Research (CBR), involving local communities in training in making herbal medicine products from natural ingredients. The results of the activity show an increase in community awareness of the potential of the surrounding nature and the ability to create products of high economic value. This program has succeeded in contributing to the development of MSMEs in kepuhrejo Village, as well as opening up wider and more sustainable business opportunities for the local community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is generally attempted to find the effectiveness of using INTENS BOOK (Interactive English Book) media in learning English for the class X-AKL-3 students at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang academic year 2022/2023. To know whether this media is effective or not, the researcher used pre-experimental research applied in X-AKL-3 class. The research had been done in six meetings that were designed: first meeting was for pre- test, 4 meetings were for treatments, and the last meeting was for post-test. As the quantitative method, the researcher analyzed the data by using the paired sample t-test. The result showed that there was siginificant difference on the student’s mean score of pre-test’s score was 66,12. Then in post-test, the mean score was 84,12. In other words, INTENS BOOK media is effective in learning English for advance learner, especially for first grade of senior high school students. Key words: Intens Book Media, Learning English ABSTRAK Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivan penggunaan media INTENS BOOK (Interactive English Book) dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X-AKL-3 di SMK PGRI 1 Jombang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya media ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian pra- eksperimental yang diterapkan di kelas X-AKL-3. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam enam pertemuan yang dirancang pertemuan pertama untuk pre-test, empat pertemuan untuk treatment, dan pertemuan terakhir untuk post-test. Sebagai metode kuantitatif, peneliti menganalisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan . hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai rata-rata siswa terhadap nilai pre-test sebesar 66,12. Kemudian pada post-test diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,12 . Dengan kata lain, media INTENS BOOK efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi siswa tingkat lanjut, khususnya untuk siswa kelas satu sekolah menengah atas. Kata kunci: Media Intens Book, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris
