Abstract

Through Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers, the teaching profession has an equal place with other professions. However, there is actually a fundamental thing that is sometimes not realized, namely the prophetic value of the teaching profession. Therefore, this study seeks to describe and analyze the implementation of strengthening the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers based on prophetic values ​​for PAI students at the Islamic Education Study Program, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, along with the problems and impacts. This article is a qualitative research with rationalist and phenomenological approaches. This study found that, by implementing strengthening professionalism through prophetic values, learning objectives were easier to achieve and the quality of education was maintained. In the implementation process, several problems emerged that became obstacles, including: the scientific background of the lecturers, students' understanding of learning design, and supporting facilities. However, there are positive impacts from the implementation of the program, including: creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, developing cultural aspects of students, shaping the character of ideal teacher candidates, actualizing multicultural education, and trained students in implementing integrative learning. To be more optimal, it is important to always instill humanist values, such as tolerance, respect for the rights of others, and respect for diversity. More than that, the formation of the personality of a prospective teacher must be an agenda that is really prepared by the institution such as personality development.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, like today, really supports innovation in various sectors. In the education sector, technology is an important aspect of supporting the effectiveness of the learning process. There is currently a change in education due to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which influences the learning process. This research aims to analyze existing literature regarding the use of AI in the learning process as a modern educational tool in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research used qualitative research methods, where information sources were obtained from literature analysis, case studies, and related sources. This information is produced in the form of descriptions and narratives regarding a change in the modernity of educational tools caused by the progress of the educational era. Research results show that the use of AI in 21st-century education paves the way for more adaptive, interactive and comprehensive learning approaches.

Abstract

Basically, educational curriculum is dynamic. This means that the curriculum will continue to change according to the times. These changes that occur also require a new orientation to education that education must lead to creativity, communicativeness, and cooperation. Currently, education is facing a digitalization era. Where, educators are required to be able to keep up with the times and also be able to carry out their role as carriers of good change in a dynamic environtment. Professional theachers in the digital ra are teachers who in carrying out their professional duties are based on digital era must be able to bring students to adapt to digital and foster students to have high morals with good values in reigious, national and state life. This research was conducted with an approach, where the data were obtained through field research using interviews and library research. The conclusion of this research is that there is a revolution and innovation in learning and curriculum that has a big impact on the woorld of education. Knowledge workers to successfully win and convey digital technology knowledge and produce students who have advanced abilities and skills in knowledge and are able to master digital technology.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan utama yang membutuhkan perhatian serius di Provinsi Jawa Timur karena dampaknya yang luas terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pembangunan wilayah. Peningkatan rata-rata lama sekolah dan angka harapan hidup seharusnya menurunkan angka kemiskinan, sedangkan peningkatan pengangguran akan memperburuknya. Namun, kondisi di Jawa Timur menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian dengan teori tersebut, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh rata-rata lama sekolah, angka harapan hidup, dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di kabupaten/kota Jawa Timur pada tahun 2017–2023. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel melalui perangkat lunak EViews dan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tingkat pengangguran terbuka berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin, sementara angka harapan hidup berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan rata-rata lama sekolah tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan yang menitikberatkan pada pengurangan pengangguran dan peningkatan layanan kesehatan sebagai upaya efektif dalam menekan angka kemiskinan, sekaligus memberikan dasar empiris bagi pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat sasaran dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan di Jawa Timur.

Abstract

Studi-studi tentang radikalisme mensinyalir adanya lembaga pendidikan Islam tertentu (baik sengaja ataupun tidak sengaja) telah mengajarkan fundamentalisme dan radikalisme kepada para peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu, lembaga pendidikan membutuhkan wawasan keilmuan berbasis deradikalisasi preventif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis deradikalisasi materi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Surabaya. Melalui studi kasus, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, strategi dalam mencegah tumbuhnya paham radikalisme di kalangan siswa SMP adalah dengan redesain materi PAI yang dimulai dengan pembenahan kurikulum, rekonstruksi pemahaman guru, aktualisasi pembelajaran inklusif dan telaah ulang sumber belajar. PAI berwawasan multikultural dapat menjadi solusi dalam menanamkan kesadaran pada siswa akan keberadaannya di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang plural. Namun demikian, guru akan menjadi aktor utama dalam proses deradikalisasi. Sebagai pendidik, tugas guru tidak hanya sebagai penyalur ilmu pengetahuan, namun juga harus dapat menjadi teladan kepada anak didik, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Karena itu, meski materi PAI telah didesain ulang, teladan menjadi hal yang sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

Islam merupakan agama yang berhasil menempatkan akhlak pada derajat tertinggi setelah iman. Pesona Rasulullah Saw dalam membimbing umatnya menjadi manusia yang beradab, memberikan kesadaran betapa pentingnya moral bagi manusia. Sebagai mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam yang kental dengan ajaran Islam, tentu akhlak menjadi sorotan pertama dalam berperilaku maupun bertutur kata. Identitas sebagai mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam tentu tidak cukup dengan menonjolkan aspek intelektual saja. Dalam berkomunikasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam harus memiliki etika dan soft skill yang baik. Salah satu cara yang tepat untuk mengasah etika dan soft skill tersebut yakni dengan public speaking. Artikel ini bertujuan membahas secara mendalam mengenai penguatan afektivitas mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam  melalui public speaking dengan pendekatan filsafat etis perspektif Ibnu Miskawaih. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kajian kepustakaan, dengan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan pustaka yang akurat dan terpercaya sebagai sumber utama dalam penyusunanya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa penguatan afektifitas mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui public speaking dengan pendekatan filsafat etis perspektif Ibnu Miskawaih dapat dilakukan dengan cara: (1) Membiasakan diri bersikap ikhlas, tolong-menolong, dan rendah hati, (2) Membiasakan diri berfikir kritis, (3) Membiasakan diri bersikap berani, (4) Membiasakan bersikap optimis, (5) Membiasakan diri bersikap kontrol diri dan (iffah).Kata Kunci: Akhlak, Mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam, Public Speaking, Filsafat etis, Ibnu Miskawaih.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that during learning, not all students have the same learning power and active involvement, resulting in significant differences in learning outcomes, in addition, many students still choose their own group mates in socializing or forming groups, resulting in homogeneous groups. Therefore, the researcher conducted this study aimed to analyze the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in improving learning outcomes and the formation of Islamic character of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, the material of avoiding backbiting and carrying out tabayun class VII-B at SMPN 1 Krian. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with classroom observation methods. The results of these observations indicate that class VII-B students carry out learning with the TGT type which is considered effective in improving student learning outcomes and forming their Islamic character with honesty, cooperation, responsibility and mutual respect.

Abstract

Bankruptcy and Arbitration are forms of mechanisms for resolving disputes among parties. The purpose of this research is to explore the use of international arbitration awards as a simple proof requirement in bankruptcy cases. The research methods employed include the statute approach and conceptual approach. The findings of this research indicate that international arbitration awards can be admissible as simple proof due to the final and binding nature of international arbitration awards when they meet certain requirements established by Indonesian positive law. Specifically, if an international arbitration award has been registered and requested for enforcement at the Central Jakarta District Court, the international arbitration award is considered valid. Meeting these criteria, international arbitration awards, as authentic evidence, fulfill the simple proof requirement. However, if an international arbitration award does not meet these requirements, it cannot be considered authentic evidence in bankruptcy proceedings under Indonesian positive law, as the authenticity of international arbitration awards is only recognized when they have been registered and requested for enforcement.

Abstract

The role of educators in Islamic education is highly significant, particularly in addressing contemporary educational challenges that tend to prioritise cognitive achievement over character formation. This article examines the concept of the Islamic educator according to Syekh Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji in Ta'lim al-Muta'allim li Thariq al-Ta'allum and analyses its implications for modern teacher professionalism. This study employs a descriptive–analytical literature review, using Ta'lim al-Muta'allim as the primary source supported by relevant contemporary scholarly literature. The findings show that Az-Zarnuji outlines three fundamental criteria for an educator: al-a'lam (professionally competent and knowledgeable), al-awra’ (morally upright and avoiding sinful acts), and al-asann (mature and experienced). According to Az-Zarnuji, a teacher is not merely an instructor but also a moral and spiritual guide (murshid) who directs learners to orient their educational goals toward attaining the pleasure of Allah SWT. This ethically and spiritually infused pedagogical model is highly relevant to contemporary efforts to strengthen teacher professionalism, ideally integrating academic competence, moral integrity, and spiritual depth. The thought of Az-Zarnuji therefore provides a valuable conceptual foundation for developing a model of teacher professionalism that is rooted in Islamic educational values while remaining responsive to the demands of modern education.

Abstract

Currently, Pancasila is facing various challenges due to the impact of globalization on the Indonesian nation. This discussion focuses on the negative impact of globalization that threatens the existence of Pancasila as a national identity. As the next generation of the nation, it is essential for young people to understand and properly implement Pancasila in their lives so that it does not become lost amid an increasingly advanced civilization. This article was written to understand the importance of Pancasila’s role in responding to the challenges of globalization. The research methodology employed was analyzing existing sources such as journals, articles, and books. The author explains how Pancasila serves as a national identity, emphasizing the importance for the current generation to practice each principle of Pancasila and understand, its vital role for the Indonesian nation, especially in the era of globalization. This is because various problems arising from globalization threaten Pancasila and its existence as the foundation of national identity. The role of Pancasila is becoming increasingly challenging due to the behavior of the younger generation, which is increasingly perceived as not aligning with the principles of Pancasila. Moral degradation is occurring, and Nationalism is beginning to fade in the souls of the current younger generation. If this continues, Indonesia’s national identity could be lost and which would have a negative impact on the future of the Indonesian nation.
