Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive pocket book on ethics of interaction in Islam in the digital era that can be used as an innovative learning medium for students. This pocket book is designed to help students understand the values ​​of Islamic ethics in communicating and interacting through digital media, while encouraging them to apply these values ​​in their daily lives. The research method used is the research and development method (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research process begins with a needs analysis through literature reviews and interviews with teachers and students, then continues with the design of the content and design of the pocket book. The development of the pocket book is carried out based on the principles of interactivity and relevance of the material. Evaluation is carried out through product trials on a number of students and teachers to obtain feedback on the quality of the pocket book, both in terms of content, design, and ease of use. The results of the study show that the interactive pocket book developed is effective and attractive to students. This book contains material on the principles of Islamic ethics, such as honesty, politeness, responsibility, and maintaining honor, which are associated with the practice of interaction in the digital world. The responses of students and teachers to this pocket book were very positive, with an average score of the product validation assessment in the "very good" category. This pocket book successfully helped students understand the concept of Islamic ethics in an interesting and relevant way. This study concluded that interactive pocket books are an innovative and effective learning medium to improve students' understanding of the ethics of interacting in Islam, especially in the digital era. This book is expected to be widely used in learning and become one of the solutions to increase ethical awareness among students.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of interactive learning methods in improving student’s  comprehension of Aqidah Akhlak at MTS Mualimin UNIVA Medan. The study arose from the challenge of low student engagement and interest in Aqidah Akhlak when taught through conventional methods, which often results in limited understanding of the subject matter. To address this issue, interactive learning approachess are expected to foster a more engaging and participatory classroom atmosphere. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing observation and interviews with teachers and students for data collection. The research subjects include seventh and eight-grade students who have experienced the interactive method over a learning period. The findings demonstrate that the use of interactive learning methods significantly boosts student participation in the learning process. Moreovor, there is a noticeable positive shift in student attitudes and behaviors, especially in the application of ethical values in their daily lives. The study concludes that interactive learning methods are effective in deepening student’s understanding of Aqidah Akhlak content.

Abstract

Kajian ini untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian pada anak usia dini di Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard Malaysia. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknis observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan pendekatan library research yang merupakan pelaksanaan penelitian dengan menggunakan kepustakaan berupa buku, catatan dan laporan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran guru dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian pada anak usia dini dibutuhkan dikarenakan anak usia dini merupakan usia yang belum matang dan labil, maka dibutuhkan peran guru agar menghindari kepribadian menyimpang. Peran guru dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian pada usia dini yaitu memberikan contoh baik sebagai role model, praktik kepribadian baik, teguran yang membangun kesadaran tentang pentingnya kepribadian yang dapat membangun dan mengembangkan kualitas individu pada anak usia dini serta memiliki manfaat untuk kehidupan menjadi insan kamil. Penguatan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian pada anak usia dini meliputi tiga aspek yaitu, berakhlak mulia, qudwatun hasanah, lingkungan edukasi.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan merupakan sikap mental dan jiwa yang selalu aktif dan kreatif, berdaya, bercipta, berkarya, bersahaja, dan berusaha meningkatkan pendapatan atas kegiatan usahanya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dengan anak-anak PAUD Halimatus Sa’diyah Bae Kudus, terlihat bahwa jiwa kewirausahaan belum melekat pada diri anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengajarkan kewirausahaan pada siswa.. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan participatory empowerment. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 3 guru 21 anak-anak dan 9 mahasiswa di PAUD Halimatus Sa’diyah. Hasil penelitian ini adanya kegiatan market day berfungsi melatih jiwa entrepreneur, memahami dunia bisnis sejak usia dini.

Abstract

This study examines character education implementation at SMP Islam Al-Fadhli Medan, addressing globalization challenges while preserving Islamic values. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research reveals three key aspects: integration of Islamic values into the curriculum, innovative strategies to address globalization, and strategic use of technology in character education. While these approaches show positive results, concerns arise about balancing technological innovation with human interaction. The study contributes to developing a more effective Islamic character education model in the global context. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Islam Al-Fadhli Medan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai keislaman. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian mengungkapkan tiga aspek utama: integrasi nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam kurikulum, strategi inovatif menghadapi globalisasi, dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan karakter. Meskipun pendekatan ini menunjukkan hasil positif, muncul kekhawatiran tentang keseimbangan antara inovasi teknologi dan interaksi manusia. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan karakter Islam yang lebih efektif dalam konteks global.

Abstract

Religious values are a fundamental aspect in education, especially in shaping children's character. Integration of Asmaul Husna values in education is expected to instill faith, sharia, and morals from an early age. This study aims to: (1) find out how the integration of Asmaul Husna values in daily activities at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard is carried out, and (2) analyze the impact of this integration on student behavior. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. Informants in this study include the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is obtained through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study indicate that the Asmaul Husna values that are taught consistently have a positive impact on student behavior. Some of the values applied in daily activities include Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahiim (compassion), Al-Adl (justice), Al-Haliim (patience), As-Samii’ and Al-Bashiir (awareness of hearing and seeing), and Al-Afuww and Ar-Ra’uf (forgiveness and compassion). The impact of this integration includes increased emotional intelligence (EQ), social and cooperation skills, and better character development. Thus, the integration of Asmaul Husana values contributes to the formation of children’s characters who are more religious and have noble morals.

Abstract

This study explores how Islamic values are taught and internalized by children at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard Pulau Pinang. Considering the developmental stage of children who are still closely related to the world of fairy tales, this study also examines the impact of intensive Islamic character teaching on the formation of their religious character. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and their validity was tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the analysis show that the Islamic character teaching strategy at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard Pulau Pinang is implemented through systematic planning, organizing, delivering, and managing stages. There are six main factors that influence the implementation of this strategy, namely child development, basic competencies to be achieved, availability of relevant teaching materials, proportional time allocation, completeness of learning facilities, and teacher abilities and competencies. These findings provide comprehensive insights into the implementation of Islamic character teaching and emphasize that the right strategy and in-depth understanding of the factors that influence the learning process are very important in forming a strong understanding of religion in children.

Abstract

Responsible and honest personality Mostly formed through early character education. The paradigm of character education that emphasizes affection and role model is one of the most effective approaches to instill moral values in children. This study aims to investigate how kindergarten educational institutions use care and role model to implement the concept of character education. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach that utilizes the process of recording, interviews, and observations at Tadika AlFikh Orchard Port Klang Malaysia. Early character education plays a crucial role in shaping responsible and honest personalities. An effective paradigm for character education involves fostering affection and providing positive role models, helping children internalize moral values through observation and imitation. This study aims to explore how kindergarten educational institutions implement character education by emphasizing care and role modeling as key strategies. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard, Port Klang, Malaysia. The results of the study showed that role models from teachers and parents. Children tend to imitate the behavior they see from adult figures around them, especially in terms of honesty, responsibility, and concern for others. In addition, concern can also be developed through social activities and interactions that involve cooperation and empathy in the learning environment. However, there are several obstacles and constraints faced, including the lack of cooperation from mothers and fathers and the various characters of children.

Abstract

This community service research aims to examine the role of lecturers in building religious moderation in the HKBP Nommensen University Medan environment. In the context of a pluralistic society, universities have a strategic responsibility to instill the values of tolerance, inclusiveness, and peace through higher education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that lecturers at UHN Medan generally have a good understanding of the concept of religious moderation, which is reflected in the integration of the values of tolerance and diversity in learning, providing role models in social interactions, and active participation in interfaith activities. However, the implementation of the values of religious moderation still faces a number of challenges, such as interfaith stereotypes, limited multicultural pedagogy, and lack of institutional policy support. This study recommends strategies to strengthen the role of lecturers through ongoing training, development of inclusive curriculum, collaboration between faculties and religions, and the creation of a campus culture that supports the values of moderation. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of lecturers as agents of change in creating a peaceful and tolerant academic environment amidst diversity.

Abstract

This research investigates how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning shapes Islamic character in children with autism. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative case study methodology. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and thematic analysis was used to test the results. This research aims to provide information for educators and policymakers on how to create more effective and responsive educational programs for autistic children by teaching Islamic Religious Education and also shaping the character of autistic children at Tadika Mysarah. The results of this study highlight the important role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in character development, strengthening Islamic principles, and offering spiritual guidance through an open and flexible approach. Islamic Education teachers are very important in instilling Islamic values in children with autism, especially by collaborating with parents and related experts to create child-friendly teaching methods. Research also shows that tailored learning can enhance a child's understanding of Islamic teachings, help them build self-confidence, and develop social skills. The teaching methods used include educational games, Islamic stories, and simple worship practices, which are designed to meet the special needs of autistic children.
