This research aims to describe (1) the form of linguistic style in Rossa's song lyrics in the album Another Journey: The Beginning; (2) The research results are used as open material in class X high school. The theory that researchers use in this discussion is the theory of language styles according to Tarigan (2013). The subject of this research is the song lyrics on the album Another Journey: The Beginning. The researchers took the data for this research from Rossa's song lyrics on the album Another Journey: The Beginning, which consists of 10 songs. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used were observation, close observation techniques and literature study. This research uses three stages of the data analysis process, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, there are 80 language styles in Rossa's song lyrics on the album Another Journey: The Beginning.

This research is motivated by shifts in increasingly complex religious values. The widespread news regarding the phenomenon of excessive selfies during the Umrah pilgrimage illustrates a shift in religious values. This research aims to describe the religious values contained in the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia. The method used is qualitative with descriptive data analysis techniques. This research uses two data collection techniques, namely observation techniques and literature study techniques. Primary data was obtained from the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia and secondary data was obtained from various relevant sources. The theory used is the Atmosuwito religious value theory. The results of the research show that there are six aspects of religious values in the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia, namely; 1) surrender, submission, and obedience, 2) a life full of glory, 3) inner feelings of connection with God, 4) feelings of sin, 5) feelings of fear, and 6) recognizing the greatness of God. Novels that contain religious values, if studied, can influence someone to apply religious values in everyday life. This research will be recommended as module type printed teaching material for second semester high school students in class XII.

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Four Square Writing method assisted by infographics in learning to write biography text. This type of research is a quasi-experiment. The sample was 64 students of class X SMAN 1 Klari. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and biography text writing test. The research data were analysed using descriptive and infersential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the ability to write biography text on the posttest of the experimental class. Meanwhile, the ability to write biography text on the control class posttest has not shown a significant improvement. Based on the hypothesis test, the result of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 <0.05. This shows that the application of Four Square Writing method assisted by infographic image media is effective in learning to write biographical texts for class X students of SMAN 1 Klari.

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the chain writing method assisted by TikTok media in improving drama script writing skills in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Klari. This research uses a nonequivalent control group design. The data processing techniques used in this study are normality, homogeneity, N-Gain, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study were analysed with SPSS version 29. Based on the results of the T-Test calculation, the significance score (2-tailed) < 0.01, which means < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted. Thus, the chain writing method assisted by TikTok media is effectively applied in the skill of writing drama scripts in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Klari.

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks tanggapan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran prediction guide. Peneliti memilih model prediction guide agar menarik minat dan keaktifan siswa. Populasi penelitian berasal dari 411 siswa. Sampel kelas VII B terdiri atas 42 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII-J terdiri atas 42 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen kuasi (quasi experiment) dan memakai desain nonequivalent control group design. Data pretest-posttest menunjukkan kedua kelas bersifat normal dan homogen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks tanggapan yang dibuktikan dari skor posttest kelas eksperimen yang mencapai 77,6. Sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 55,9. Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan skor kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,58 dengan persentase 58% yang artinya memiliki peningkatan dalam kategori sedang dan cukup efektif. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,20 dengan persentase 20% yang berarti peningkatannya rendah dan kurang efektif. Hasil uji independent sample t-test 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran prediction guide efektif digunakan dalam peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks tanggapan siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Klari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan metode guided writing berbasis aplikasi PicsArt dalam keterampilan menuliskan teks persuasif siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Telagasari. Metodologi yang diterapkan ialah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan skema pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. Studi ini melibatkan 72 siswa sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, yakni tes awal dan akhir. Analisis data dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan serangkaian uji statistik, mencakup uji normalitas, homogenitas, n-gain score, serta uji hipotesis menerapkan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada hasil uji SPSS, data menunjukkan bahwa setelah posttest, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kedua kelas. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen mencapai 89,58, sedangkan kelas kontrol mencapai 79,17. Uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,004 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks persuasi antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Guided Writing berbantuan aplikasi Picsart dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan uji N-Gain, peningkatan rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 69,37% dengan kategori cukup efektif, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 40,30% dengan kategori kurang efektif. Berdasarkan studi ini, metode guided writing berbasis aplikasi picsart efektif dalam mendorong keterampilan menuliskan teks persuasi.Kata kunci: Guided Writing, Picsart, menulis, teks persuasi

Every poet has his own way of writing including the use of a distinctive language style in order to achieve the goal of beauty or aesthetics in his work. The diversity of language styles in poetry is often difficult to understand, especially by novice readers. Difficulty in understanding the language style in poetry can affect the reader's response because it prevents the reader from capturing the meaning contained in it. The purpose of this study was conducted because the researcher intends to examine the use of stylistics in the aspects of sound, lexical elements, and exaggeration. This research uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach. The subject of this research is a poem entitled Sepetak Tanah di Pekarangan and Sepasang Mata yang Buta by Theoresia Rumthe. The object of this research is the use of stylistics in the form of sound aspects, lexical elements, and maximization. The data analysis technique in this research is carried out through several stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the poems entitled Sepetak Tanah di Pekarangan and Sepasang Mata yang Buta by Theoresia Rumthe contain stylistics in the form of sound aspects, including assonance, alliteration, initial rhyme, and final rhymeAspects of meaning, including denotation and connotation. Imagery includes comparison in the form of personification and simile, contradiction in the form of hyperbole and irony.
