Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' critical thinking skills and self- efficacy through the implementation of project-based learning in the independent curriculum for fifth-grade students. It is a field research study using a quantitative approach. The research method employed is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study are the teachers and fifth-grade students of MI NU Tarbiyatul Islam. The results of the study show that the implementation of the project-based learning model involves several phases, including determining the project, designing the steps to complete the project, scheduling the project implementation, carrying out the project, preparing reports and presenting project results, and evaluating both the process and outcomes of the project. Students' critical thinking skills in science learning using the project-based learning model showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores in both critical thinking skills and self-efficacy. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test results, where the value of t-count < t-table = 0.00 < 0.05. This learning model has the potential to serve as a reference in the formulation of more contextual and adaptive educational policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran berbasis Green Living melalui model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam membentuk sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas IV MI NU Pendidikan Islam Gondangmanis Kudus. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan proyek yang dilakukan berupa pembuatan pupuk kompos organik dari daun kering yang ada di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis Green Living melalui model PjBL mampu meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui tumbuhnya tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerja sama, serta kemampuan memahami dan memecahkan masalah lingkungan. Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran juga menunjukkan kategori baik dengan rata-rata persentase 82,5%. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan mudah memahami materi karena terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan proyek. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis Green Living melalui model PjBL menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menumbuhkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan memperkuat karakter siswa dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

The integration of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and STEM Education is important in primary education; however, its implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah remains underexplored, particularly in utilizing the school environment as a contextual learning resource. This study aims to analyze teachers’ understanding of ESD and STEM integration, examine the role of the school environment in supporting learning, and identify how ESD and STEM are integrated into environmental project-based learning. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving fifth-grade students, teachers, and the principal of a Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Blora Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that teachers understood ESD through environmental care practices and applied STEM through contextual problem-solving activities, although challenges remained in integrating all STEM components systematically. The school environment functioned as a learning laboratory through waste management, plant observation, and simple water filtration projects using local materials. This study contributes to the development of contextual ESD-STEM learning models in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through environmental project-based learning that integrates sustainability values with STEM competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration of ecotheological values in Natural and Social Science (IPAS) learning to foster Life on Land awareness among fifth-grade students at MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus. The research was motivated by the low ecological awareness of students, particularly in waste sorting and plant care within the school environment. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, the study implemented a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with ecotheological values through two main projects: a demonstration of organic–inorganic waste sorting and the planting of ornamental plants. The results show that ecotheological indicators were achieved with high percentages, including awareness of God’s creation (94%), ecological empathy (91%), moral and ecological ethics (87%), responsibility toward nature (81%), project collaboration (81%), spiritual ecological awareness (79%), and value reflection (72%). Life on Land indicators also demonstrated strong achievement, such as knowledge of biodiversity (81%), understanding of environmental damage (74%), environmental conservation actions (76%), and awareness of human roles (85%). Students’ responses were highly positive, with 86% in the IPAS learning aspect, 88% in the ecotheology values aspect, 87% in the life-on-land awareness aspect, and 86% in the students’ attitudes and behaviors aspect. This indicates that learners’ responses to the learning implementation were very positive.

Abstract

The lack of teachers' knowledge about the concept of inclusive education and their ability to establish appropriate techniques and methods has become an issue in the implementation of inclusive education. This research aims to provide insights on how to implement multisensory techniques in the PjBL learning model infused with local wisdom to achieve inclusive education at the third-grade level. This study employs a qualitative case study research method with teachers and 19 third-grade students of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus as the research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, questionnaires, field notes, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of multisensory techniques in the PjBL model infused with local wisdom can be successfully carried out. The results can lead to more active, engaging, and meaningful learning activities for the students. In addition, the learning can create an inclusive environment by enhancing active participation among students and providing equal opportunities and access.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik MIN Kudus terhadap pembelajaran IPAS sistem pencernaan manusia dikarenakan media yang digunakan belum mampu menampilkan gambaran secara konkret dan mendetail. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi Torso Interaktif Bersuara (TOBI) berbasis STEM pada pembelajaran IPAS Di MIN Kudus disertai dengan respon guru dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini tergolong kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang akan dijalankan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Torso Interaktif Bersuara (TOBI) berbasis STEM pada pembelaran IPAS di MIN Kudus dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terkait materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Hal ini terbukti pada aktivitas guru dengan persentase 91% kategori sangat baik dan peserta didik dengan persentase  75% dengan kategori baik. Sementara hasil respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap desain, relevansi, perhatian, kepuasan, dan percaya diri  mendapatkan persentase 85% dan 81% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.The lack of understanding of MIN Kudus students towards learning the human digestive system IPAS is due to the media used that has not been able to display a concrete and detailed picture. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of STEM-based Voiced Interactive Torso (TOBI) in IPAS learning at MIN Kudus along with the responses of teachers and students. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative with the type of field research. Data were obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of STEM-based Voiced Interactive Torso (TOBI) in IPAS learning at MIN Kudus can improve students' understanding of human digestive system material. This is evident in the activities of teachers with a percentage of 91% in the very good category and students with a percentage of 75% in the good category. While the results of teacher and learner responses to design, relevance, attention, satisfaction, and confidence get a percentage of 85% and 81% included in the very good category.

Abstract

The aim of this study to provide an overview of teachers,especially elementary school teachers about making creative and innovative power points that can increase the creativity of elementary school students in the field of information and technology. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique at BITC Bandung. The problem that occurs in elementary schools is that teachers do not know how to take advantage of creativity that has been made by students, especially in learning information and communication technology.This result of this study indicate that efforts to increase the creativity of elementary school students can be done by making creative and innovative power point supported by facilities at BITC Bandung to be published through the market place like envato and shutterstock.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the religious character education program developed at SD Al-Ma'soem Bandung, to determine the character education program developed at SD Al-Ma'some Bandung, to describe the implementation of the religious character and discipline of students at SD Ma'soem Bandung. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach and literature study. The population of this study were students and educators of SD Al-Ma'soem. The results showed that the form of implementation of the religious character and discipline of students at SD Al-Ma'soem Bandung by providing internalization of religious character education and discipline, students to follow all programs that have been made, especially religious and disciplinary programs that provide good examples for students educate.

Abstract

This study identifies the low motivation of students in Mathematics, particularly in the subject of spatial building in class II SDN 04 Ngembal Kulon. The purpose of the research is to enhance students' motivation through the use of interactive multimedia learning media, Touching Geometry. The method employed is classroom action research conducted in two cycles, with data collection through observation and interviews. The results indicate an increase in students' motivation from 86% in the first cycle to 93.30% in the second cycle. The use of interactive media successfully created an engaging learning environment and actively involved students. The impact of this research is an improvement in students' understanding of spatial building concepts and a positive attitude towards Mathematics. The conclusion of this study asserts that interactive multimedia learning media is effective in increasing student motivation and participation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran make a match dengan menggunakan picture card (kartu bergambar) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan materi “Membangun Jati Diri dalam Kebhinekaan” pada siswa kelas IV SD 01 Temulus Mejobo Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan subyek siswa kelas IV. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik penilaian rata-rata hasil belajar dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil belajar pada siklus I adalah 73,33 dan meningkat menjadi 82,22 pada siklus II. Selanjutnya persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I memperoleh persentase 77,8%, meningkat menjadi 88,9% pada siklus II.
