Abstract

The research of the study was to determine the feasibility of Google Site learning media integrated Islamic values by utilizing advances in technology and student perceptions. The type of research is R&D using the ADDIE model design. The subjects of this study were researchers, material, religious, and media experts, as well as 61 seventh-grade students of junior high school. The data collection technique is to use the interview method, observation and validation sheet, and response questionnaire. Data analysis is quantitative according to the ADDIE model development procedure. The results showed that the feasibility of the product from material expert validation obtained a score of 97%, religious expert validation 100%, media expert validation with a score of 96%, and educator practicality obtained 91% and 95% learner response. Based on the results obtained, the interactive learning media of the integrated solar system of Islamic values is feasible and practical to be used to help learn and add insight into the relationship of material with Islamic values at junior high school.ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran google site diintegrasikan nilai-nilai islam dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknolog dan persepsi peserta didik. Jenis penelitian adalah R&D dengan menggunakan desain model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, ahli materi, agama dan media, serta 61 peserta didik kelas VII sekolah menengah pertama. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan lembar validasi serta angket persepsi. Analisis data yaitu menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif sesuai prosedur pengembangan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan produk dari validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor 97%, validasi ahli agama 100%, validasi ahli media dengan skor 96%, prktikalitas pendidik memperoleh 91% dan respon perserta didik 95%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka media pembelajaran interaktif sistem tata surya terintegrasi nilai-nilai islam layak dan praktis digunakan untuk membantu belajar dan menambah wawasan keterkaitan materi dengan nilai-nilai islam di sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of using Talking Stick game as a learning media on students' learning outcomes and scientific communication skills in science lessons. This study was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, by analyzing various relevant previous studies from elementary to secondary education levels. The research findings indicate that the Talking Stick learning technique can significantly improve student learning outcomes. This model has also been proven effective in improving science communication skills, conceptual understanding, active participation, and students' courage to express opinions during the learning process. The Talking Stick method emphasizes collaboration and involvement between students in a fun and interesting atmosphere. The use of various supporting media, such as question cards, posters, audio visuals, and student worksheets (LKS), increases the effectiveness of this method. The use of alternating sticks in question and answer sessions encourages students to be more confident and actively involved in the learning process. This also provides benefits for the development of students' critical thinking skills and emotional skills, which are very much in line with the needs of learning in the 21st century. The findings of this Talking Stick model research are recommended as an innovative strategy in science learning. Teachers are advised to combine it with interesting learning media to make the learning process more meaningful and enjoyable. tested the effectiveness of this method in various educational conditions. Furthermore, consistent application of the Talking Stick method can create an inclusive learning environment that is responsive to individual student needs. In the context of science learning, which often demands understanding of abstract concepts and problem-solving, this method can bridge the gap between theory and practice through active and reflective interaction.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA menjadi permasalahan empiris yang masih sering ditemui di sekolah, salah satunya akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui studi literatur terhadap 15 artikel ilmiah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan analisis sintesis, di mana sumber diambil dari jurnal nasional yang relevan, dianalisis berdasarkan tujuan, metode, hasil, dan rekomendasi penelitian. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Jigsaw secara konsisten meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar kognitif, dan keterampilan sosial siswa, dengan pengaruh yang signifikan pada jenjang SD hingga SMA. Kelemahan umum mencakup minimnya integrasi teknologi, kurangnya variasi konteks, dan terbatasnya penelitian jangka panjang. Disimpulkan bahwa model Jigsaw efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran IPA, dengan implikasi perlunya pengembangan berbasis media interaktif dan perluasan pada konteks yang lebih beragam untuk menjawab tuntutan pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

Bullying is one of the serious problems that occur in the school environment and can have a negative impact on the social and emotional development of students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of mading as an educational medium in efforts to prevent bullying in SD Muhammadiyah IV Pekanbaru. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a participatory approach, where KKN-DIK students not only observe the phenomenon of bullying, but also participate in prevention activities through making mading. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by observation to see student interactions before and after the presence of mading, interviews with students and teachers to evaluate the understanding and effectiveness of mading, as well as documentation in the form of photos and videos as evidence of program implementation. The research findings show that bulletin boards are effective in increasing students' awareness about bullying, helping them better understand its forms, impacts, and ways to prevent it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Time Token Learning Type learning model combined with science literacy on communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes of SMPN XYZ students. The background of this research is low communication skills and student learning outcomes that are still substandard, so an innovative learning approach is needed that can improve both aspects. The research method used was quasi experimental with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research subjects involved one experimental class given Time Token Learning type learning with science literacy content and one control class that used conventional learning. The research instrument consisted of a reasoned multiple-choice test to measure cognitive learning outcomes and an observation sheet to assess communication skills. The results of the study show that the application of the Time Token Learning model with science literacy has a significant influence on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The average pretest score of 40 increased to 75 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 45.5% which was in the medium category. These findings prove that the learning model is effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and cognitive thinking skills. However, the results of the analysis of communication skills did not show a significant improvement. In addition, the correlation between communication skills and learning outcomes was also insignificant with a significance value of 0.826 > 0.05. In conclusion, the Time Token Learning model with science literacy has proven to be effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes, but has not been able to optimally develop communication skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop additional strategies or a combination of other learning models so that communication skills can develop in line with improving cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the extent to which students' critical thinking skills can be improved through the implementation of a guided inquiry learning model based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a post-test only control group design. The study population consisted of 5 classes with a total of 190 students. From this population, the researcher took a sample of 68 students through a simple random sampling technique. The sample was then divided into two groups, namely 34 students for the experimental class and 34 students for the control class. The research instrument was a critical thinking skills test consisting of 20 objective, reasoned questions. The research data were analyzed using a t-test. Based on the calculation results, the t-value was 3.792, while the t-table value at a significance level of 0.05 was 2.037. This indicates that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the critical thinking skills of students who participated in learning with a guided inquiry model based on ESD compared to conventional learning. In addition, the improvement in critical thinking skills was also analyzed through the N-Gain calculation. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a 65% improvement, categorized as moderate, while the control class achieved a 59% improvement, also categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that guided inquiry learning integrated with ESD principles provides a more effective way to foster students' critical thinking skills compared to traditional methods. Therefore, ESD-based guided inquiry learning can be an alternative, innovative learning strategy to improve the quality of the learning process in secondary schools.

Abstract

Artikel pengabdian ini menguraikan pelatihan penggunaan Canva yang diselenggarakan di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru, dengan siswa kelas XII IPA sebagai peserta utama. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk menghadapi tantangan era digital melalui peningkatan literasi digital dan kreativitas dalam mengolah informasi visual. Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan mencakup penyampaian materi secara interaktif, demonstrasi langsung, dan praktik pembuatan desain yang difasilitasi oleh pendidik dan praktisi berkompeten. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan siswa dalam menghasilkan karya desain yang estetis dan komunikatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berpotensi menjadi model pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di masa mendatang

Abstract

This research aims to produce a module that is relevant to the character of Muhammadiyah Vocational School, namely integrating Islamic and Muhammadiyah values with the Pancasila student profile. This research was a type of development research by applying the Sadiman Development Method. Analysis of the result quality of the developed module was carried out using a validation test from the material aspect and media aspect as well as a trial by respondents to the developed module. The evaluation was conducted by media professionals using a 20-item questionnaire, yielded an average score of 84, indicating a high level of appropriateness. Similarly, material experts assessed the validators using a 30-item questionnaire and found the performance to be highly appropriate, resulting in a score of 89. Based on these findings, it can be stated that the developed digital module has relevant validity values and is suitable to be used in vocational learning which can be integrated with Islamic and Muhammadiyah values. The use of this module has an impact on cultivating Islamic character and Pancasila students for Muhammadiyah Vocational School students. This distinctive character is a provision for alumni to be able to compete in the work world in today's digital era.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) adalah salah satu upaya untuk melayani masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman, kemampuan, dan rasa peduli masyarakat terhadap isu-isu di sekitarnya. Salah satu isu yang sering ditemukan adalah pengelolaan limbah minyak goreng yang masih belum dilakukan dengan baik dan berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Melalui program KKN ini, tim mahasiswa melakukan sosialisasi dan Pelatihan membuat lilin aromaterapi menggunakan minyak jelantah. Aktivitas ini diadakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi mengenai risiko minyak jelantah terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, serta praktik langsung dalam membuat lilin aromaterapi dengan tambahan aroma alami. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat menunjukkan minat yang tinggi dan dapat mempraktikkan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi kembali secara mandiri. Sosialisasi ini tidak hanya memberikan alternatif penggunaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi barang yang bermanfaat dan memiliki nilai ekonomi, sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, program KKN ini diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan dan menjadi inspirasi bagi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan inovasi berbasis pemberdayaan lingkungan.

Abstract

Kemampuan hidup dan kecerdasan emosional anak sangat penting dalam proses pendidikan, terutama dalam pembentukan kepribadian dan kemampuan anak untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial. Untuk mendukung hal ini, program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini berfokus pada pembuatan taman sensori dan pelaksanaan High Impact Outbound di Sekolah Alam Kubang Raya. Taman sensori ini dirancang sebagai ruang interaktif yang memanfaatkan rangsangan multisensorik yang berasal dari alam untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik, kognitif, dan emosional anak. Selain itu, kegiatan High Impact Outbound mengarahkan anak untuk berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas luar ruang yang menantang secara fisik dan mental sambil mengajarkan mereka untuk bekerja sama, berkomunikasi, dan mengelola emosi. Program ini meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional anak dan keterampilan hidup seperti menyelesaikan masalah, kerjasama tim, dan pengendalian diri melalui metode partisipatif dan interaktif. Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini mendapatakan pendanaan tahun 2025 dari kementrian Pendidikan tinggi sains dan teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi: (1) perancangan dan pembangunan taman sensori yang memanfaatkan material alami seperti pasir, batu, air, dan tanaman; (2) pelatihan dan pendampingan (3) evaluasi kegiatan. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model pembelajaran berbasis alam yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah-sekolah lain sebagai alternatif pendidikan karakter dan pengembangan kecerdasan emosional anak.
