Abstract

his study aims to examine the effect of implementing digital media through a podcast-based project on students’ speaking skills. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model. The participants were students from a selected educational institution who took part in speaking skills instruction through a podcast project. Data were collected using speaking skill tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically a paired-sample t-test. The results revealed an improvement in students’ speaking skills after the implementation of the podcast-based project. The mean score of the pretest was 77.64, which increased to 86.16 in the posttest, indicating a gain of 8.52 points. Statistical analysis demonstrated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores at a significance level of a = 0.05. These findings indicate that the use of digital media through podcast projects has a positive effect on enhancing students’ speaking skills. Therefore, podcast-based digital media can be considered an effective alternative for teaching speaking skills. Learning through podcast projects encourages active participation, creativity, and students’ confidence in expressing ideas orally, making the learning process more meaningful and relevant to digital-era education.

Abstract

Materi teks cerita sejarah sering dianggap menjemukan oleh siswa karena kepadatan narasi yang bersifat abstrak. Di MA Sains Tebuireng Putri, diperlukan inovasi media visual untuk mentransformasi teks naratif yang kompleks menjadi penyajian yang lebih interaktif dan menarik guna meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa di lingkungan pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses implementasi media Canva dalam pembelajaran teks cerita sejarah serta menganalisis efektivitasnya terhadap kreativitas dan literasi digital siswa kelas XII. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis portofolio hasil karya digital siswa. Implementasi Canva melalui model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) terbukti mampu mengubah teks sejarah menjadi produk literasi visual yang sistematis dan estetis. Fitur grafis Canva membantu siswa memetakan struktur teks (orientasi, urutan peristiwa, dan reorientasi) secara kronologis. Selain itu, integrasi nilai-nilai lokal Tebuireng ke dalam karya digital meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan relevansi materi bagi siswa. Penggunaan Canva efektif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk memperkuat literasi visual, kreativitas, dan pemahaman naratif sejarah. Media ini berhasil mengonversi materi konvensional menjadi pengalaman belajar digital yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa di era modern.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada implementasi Kurikulum Deep Learning mengenai materi teks deskripsi melalui deskripsi lirik lagu secara berkelompok di SMP Al Anwar Sarang. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode kualitatif. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IX SMP Al Anwar yang berdomisili di pesantren Pondok Haji Maimun. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan peneliti berperan ganda sebagai guru dan instrumen utama penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis PjBL yang terintegrasi dengan Kurikulum Deep Learning, melalui penyusunan Modul Ajar, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, LKPD, serta rubrik penilaian berbasis proses dan produk, mampu mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran berjalan sesuai tahapan PjBL dan mampu mengakomodasi keterbatasan waktu belajar peserta didik pesantren, meskipun masih ditemukan kendala pada aspek kepercayaan diri dan manajemen waktu. Hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan sosial peserta didik, khususnya dalam memahami dan menyusun teks deskripsi lirik lagu. Dengan demikian, Project Based Learning dinilai selaras dengan Kurikulum Deep Learning dan relevan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah berbasis pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of Augmented Reality technology. Reality (AR) in improving the short story writing skills of high school students, who still face obstacles in developing ideas, narrative structure, and learning motivation. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test. control group This design involved 60 eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Jombang. Data were collected through short story writing tests, motivational questionnaires, and interviews, and analyzed using paired- reference tests. sample t- test, independent t- test, and effect The results showed that the experimental group using AR experienced a significant increase compared to the control group, with an average score increase of 25.95% compared to 7.05%. Statistical tests showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) with an effect The size of the medium-high category. In addition, students' learning motivation in the experimental group was higher (8.5/10) than in the control group (6/10). These findings indicate that AR effectively improves the quality of short story writing in terms of ideas, narrative structure, and language style, as well as increasing student engagement in learning. This study contributes to the development of technology-based writing learning models by systematically integrating AR into the writing process. The limitations of the study lie in the limited duration of the intervention and the narrow sample scope. Future research is recommended to test the implementation of AR on a wider scale and over a longer period.

Abstract

Education continuously strives to integrate and adapt to changing times. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Self-Learning Activity Units (Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri or UKBM) integrated with a love-based curriculum to enhance summative assessment in Indonesian language learning at MAN 3 Kediri. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research was a questionnaire distributed to students of MAN 3 Kediri as respondents. The data analysis technique used was qualitative with a narrative study approach, oriented toward describing the observations obtained from the distributed questionnaires. The results of the analysis revealed that the learning process at MAN 3 Kediri fully utilizes UKBM modules as supporting learning materials. Over time, the Indonesian language UKBM has integrated with a love-based curriculum. This integration includes the inculcation of five aspects of Panca Cinta (Five Loves). The Panca Cinta in question comprises: first, love for God, which encourages students to blend religious values into literary texts. Second, love for fellow human beings, which encourages students to develop critical thinking and empathy toward others. Third, love for knowledge, which motivates students to cultivate a passion for reading and writing. Fourth, love for the environment, to intensively analyze the relationship between language texts and their surrounding explanations. Fifth, love for the homeland, which is oriented toward upholding nationalistic values within Indonesian language texts.
