Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the influence of hybrid work culture, work-life balance, organizational support, and employee engagement on freelancer retention within the Upwork platform. Method – Using a quantitative approach with 210 respondents, data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling to explore relational dynamics among the key variables. Findings – Results indicate that hybrid work culture significantly enhances retention, particularly when mediated by strong organizational support and high levels of engagement. Work-life balance plays a moderating role, reinforcing the positive effects of flexible work models on freelancers’ long-term commitment. Practical implications – Theoretically, this study extends retention discourse into the gig economy, bridging management and labor sustainability frameworks. From a Shariah perspective, the findings emphasize equitable treatment, well-being, and dignity in employment practices, aligning with the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of five optimization algorithms in Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models for predicting house prices in Pekanbaru. The optimizers tested include Adam, AdaDelta, Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), Nadam, and Adaptive Sharpness-Aware Minimization (ASAM). A total of 3,149 house sales records were collected from rumah123.com between January and December 2024. After cleaning 148 incomplete entries, 3,001 valid records remained. The dataset included seven features: price, location, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, land area, building area, and garage capacity, with the location encoded using one-hot encoding. The research involved a literature review, problem formulation, data acquisition, preprocessing, model development, and evaluation. Model performance was assessed using the Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The results show that SGD consistently achieved the best performance, particularly at a 90:10 train-test split, with the lowest MAPE (1.74%) and MSE (0.3279). Adam and Nadam also performed well, while ASAM had the highest error (MAPE 6.14%). These findings indicate that SGD was the most effective optimizer for this dataset. Future research should explore larger datasets and advanced hyperparameter tuning to improve the generalizability of this model.

Abstract

The development of productive waqf is currently undergoing significant innovation, one of which is managed through the corporate waqf model. In Bandung City, the Sinergi Foundation is among the institutions that manage corporate waqf assets. However, its implementation has not been fully optimal, particularly in the aspect of financial management within the UMB Canteen, which manages corporate waqf funds. This study aims to analyze the application of the Islamic principle of hifdzu al-maal in the management of productive waqf by the Sinergi Foundation in Bandung City, with a case study on the waqf fund management through the canteen unit at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung (UMB) as one of its fostered SMEs. A qualitative approach was employed in this study, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that, in general, the management of corporate waqf at the Sinergi Foundation has reflected the principle of hifdzu al-maal (safeguarding assets) as taught in the maqashid sharia. Specifically, the management of the UMB Canteen corporate waqf has fulfilled one of the four principles of hifdzu al-maal, namely ensuring productive endowments sourced from lawful assets. Meanwhile, other aspects—such as responsible asset utilization, asset protection and security, and asset development—still require improvement. These improvements may be achieved through the implementation of an accountable bookkeeping system, stricter cash flow management, financial management training for canteen managers, periodic monitoring and evaluation, as well as enhanced transparency and accountability.

Abstract

Abstract. The existence of hospitals as health service providers in the future will depend significantly on their ability to respond quickly and effectively to community needs. In this context, the role of medical personnel, especially doctors, is a critical element in achieving this goal. This research aims to identify the influence of leadership style and internal communication on doctors' performance at Dustira Cimahi Hospital. The population in this study consisted of 93 doctors at Dustira Cimahi Hospital, and the research sample was 48 doctors chosen randomly. The independent variables studied were leadership style (X1) and internal communication (X2), while the dependent variable was doctor performance (Y). The research results show that the leadership style and internal communication at Dustira Cimahi Hospital are pretty good. Doctors' performance is also considered adequate. Leadership style has an influence of 46.9%, internal communication influences 36.7%, and when these two factors are combined, the influence reaches 83.6% on doctor performance. In the context of the future, hospitals need to continue to improve their leadership style and internal communication to provide better health services to the community and maintain relevance and organizational success. Abstrak. Eksistensi rumah sakit sebagai penyedia layanan kesehatan di masa depan akan sangat tergantung pada kemampuan mereka untuk merespons dengan cepat dan efektif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat. Dalam konteks ini, peran tenaga medis, khususnya dokter, menjadi elemen kunci dalam mencapai tujuan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi internal terhadap kinerja dokter di Rumah Sakit Dustira Cimahi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 93 dokter di Rumah Sakit Dustira Cimahi, dan sampel penelitian sejumlah 48 dokter yang dipilih secara acak. Variabel bebas yang diteliti adalah gaya kepemimpinan (X1) dan komunikasi internal (X2), sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kinerja dokter (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi internal di Rumah Sakit Dustira Cimahi dinilai cukup baik. Kinerja dokter juga dianggap memadai. Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 46,9%, komunikasi internal sebesar 36,7%, dan ketika kedua faktor ini digabungkan, pengaruhnya mencapai 83,6% terhadap kinerja dokter. Dalam konteks masa depan, rumah sakit perlu terus meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi internal untuk memberikan layanan kesehatan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat, menjaga relevansi, dan keberhasilan organisasi.

Abstract

The increasing use of plastic water bottles has exacerbated the global plastic waste crisis. Eco-friendly packaging is the concept of reducing and recycling plastic packaging waste. AQUA carried out this concept with Danone, who launched the AQUA Life product. This study aimed to determine the direct and indirect effects of eco-friendly packaging on the purchase intention of AQUA Life products through consumer perception and to analyze descriptively how eco-friendly packaging, consumer perception, and purchase intention of AQUA Life products. The analysis technique in this study uses Path Analysis to determine the role of consumer perception in mediating eco-friendly packaging on the purchase intention of AQUA Life products. The results showed that descriptive analysis for eco-friendly packaging, consumer perception, and purchase intention for AQUA Life products received good responses. \]And it was found that the magnitude of the indirect effect of eco-friendly packaging on purchase intention was more significant than the direct effect. This means that consumer perception as an intervening variable significantly influences eco-friendly packaging on purchase intention. The research results are expected to help the company add other features, such as the reuse idea for consumers, and reconsider product selling prices. To directly increase purchase intention, the company should pay attention to factors that influence consumer purchasing intentions, such as increasing the popularity of products.

Abstract

Kewirausahaaan sosial ialah melakukan bisnis sebagaimana kewirausahaan konvensional namun memiliki hasil akhir nilai-nilai sosial. Kewirausahaan Sosial Berkelanjutan sudah banyak diterapkan di berbagai negara dengan berbagai model, namun tujuan utama dari kewirausahaan sosial ini ialah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ekonomi dan sosial di masyarakat. bagaimana usaha mikro di Indonesia bisa mengaplikasikan kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan dan mampu menjadi solusi kondisi bangsa Indonesia, mengingat kewirausahaan sosial merupakan suatu kajian relatif baru namun terus berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakn metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan metode menganalisa literature, wawancara, dan observasi lapangan. Dari sini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak semua wirausahaan usaha mikro mampu menjalankan konsep kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan, namun adapun beberapa dari mereka yang mampu menjalankan konsep kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan dengan didukung berbagai pihak terkait degan berbagai model kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan. Perkembangan kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan pada usaha Mikro di Indonesiapun memiliki banyak kendala dalam perkembangannya, diantarara: a) keuanga, b) SDM, c) Aspek Legal Formal, d) dukungan pemerintah. Sehingga perlu dukungan dari banyak pihak dalam menjalankan kewirausahaan sosial berkelanjutan pada usaha mikro di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment, workload, job satisfaction, and performance of educational staff at Universitas Islam Bandung using a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consisted of 168 educational staff members at Universitas Islam Bandung. The data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis and verification analysis through path analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that the work environment falls into the category of "fair to good," workload is categorized as "good," job satisfaction is classified as "fair to good," and performance is in the category of "good to very good." The results of the verification analysis show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction by 45.16%. Workload has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction by 10.37%. Simultaneously, the work environment and workload have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction by 74.9%. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff by 25.1%. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff by 11.49%, while workload has a positive and significant effect on performance by 10.37%. Job satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of the work environment on the performance of educational staff, increasing the effect to 16.99%. Job satisfaction also mediates the influence of workload on performance, increasing the effect to 18.59%. However, job satisfaction is unable to mediate the simultaneous influence of work environment and workload on the performance of educational staff.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar al-Qur’an Hadis peserta didik di MTs Negeri Gowa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis ex post facto. Populasi berjumlah 450 siswa, dan sampel diambil secara stratified random sampling sebanyak 205 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan observasi, dengan analisis data deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, dengan nilai t hitung (6,015) > t tabel (1,980); siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi cenderung memperoleh hasil belajar lebih baik. (2) Pemanfaatan sumber belajar menunjukkan pengaruh sangat tinggi terhadap hasil belajar, dengan t hitung (16,537) > t tabel dan korelasi berada pada rentang 0,8–1,0. (3) Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, dengan F hitung (119,135) > F tabel (3,072). Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya motivasi dan akses sumber belajar yang optimal dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini mendorong eksplorasi lebih lanjut terhadap faktor lain seperti dukungan orang tua dan lingkungan sosial siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan hubungan antara filosofi manajemen dan praktik manajerial dalam manajemen rantai pasok dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan persaingan pasar yang semakin kompleks, pengelolaan rantai pasok yang efektif menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan organisasi. Filosofi manajemen, yang mencakup nilai-nilai dasar dan prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan, berperan penting dalam membentuk keputusan strategis dan operasional terkait manajemen rantai pasok. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dengan sepuluh pemilik toko retail di Kalimantan Timur untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana filosofi manajemen diterjemahkan dalam praktik manajerial yang diterapkan pada rantai pasok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filosofi manajemen berbasis nilai, kepemimpinan transformasional, manajemen proses, dan manajemen risiko secara signifikan memengaruhi pengelolaan rantai pasok, memperkuat hubungan dengan pemasok, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing operasional. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam pengembangan literatur manajemen rantai pasok dengan memasukkan perspektif filosofis manajemen dan menawarkan wawasan praktis untuk pengambilan keputusan dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara filosofis paradigma baru dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (HRM) pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0. Pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis konseptual-filosofis digunakan untuk menelaah integrasi antara nilai kemanusiaan, etika digital, dan kewirausahaan SDM dalam membentuk model Human-Centered HRM. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian literatur sistematis berbasis PRISMA serta wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan delapan pakar HR dan akademisi filsafat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa HRM 5.0 menuntut keseimbangan antara kecerdasan buatan dan empati manusia melalui penguatan nilai ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis dalam kebijakan organisasi. Nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, refleksi moral, dan tanggung jawab sosial menjadi landasan utama dalam menciptakan sistem pengelolaan SDM yang etis, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model konseptual Human-Centered HRM Framework yang menempatkan manusia sebagai pusat inovasi dan pengambilan keputusan strategis di era digital. Model ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan teoretis dan praktis dalam pengembangan manajemen SDM yang humanistik dan reflektif.
