Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class VI.A SD Negeri 4 Palembang on Energy Literacy material through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research used the Classroom Action Research method carried out in two cycles, involving 23 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the learning model. The PBL model is designed to improve energy literacy by actively involving learners in solving problems relevant to everyday life, so that learning becomes more meaningful and contextual. Each cycle includes planning, action implementation, observation and reflection to ensure continuous improvement. The results showed significant improvements in the understanding of energy literacy concepts, learning outcomes, and critical thinking skills of learners. They became more active, enthusiastic and showed deeper engagement in the learning process. In addition, learners also showed an increased ability to connect energy literacy concepts with everyday phenomena, making learning more relevant. This study concludes that the implementation of the PBL model can improve students' energy literacy. The researcher recommends the use of PBL model as an alternative strategy to be applied in other classes, because it is proven to be able to encourage active, creative, and relevant learning. This strategy is expected to have a positive impact in improving the quality of education, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the anxiety and stress of postpartum mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive survey method on a sample of pregnant women and women giving birth by purposive sampling, namely those who visited the Independent Practice Midwife (BPM) clinic in Bekasi City from April to July 2020, totaling 78 people. Data were collected using the DASS-21 questionnaire which was packaged in a google form and distributed online via WhatsApp social media. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively to be presented as a result of the research. The results showed that the psychological response to anxiety was normal 50 (64.10%), mild 14 (17.95%), moderate 11 (14.10%), severe 2 (2.56%), and very heavy 1 (1.28 %) of respondents. While the psychological response to normal stress was 59 (75.64%), mild 11 (14.10%), moderate 6 (7.69%), and severe 2 (2.56%) experienced psychologically normal but some experienced anxiety and stress. Most of the psychological responses to normal anxiety, but there are mild, moderate, severe, and very severe anxiety, as well as psychological responses to stress, although most normal, there is also mild, moderate, and severe stress.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the growth rate of PAD revenue and PAD sources is, find out the low contribution of PAD sources and analyze the effectiveness and contribution of PAD and Balancing Fund revenues to North Barito Regency Regional Income in 2016-2020. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods using primary data sources and secondary data. The results showed that: (1) The growth rate of PAD was 8%, and the sources of PAD were taxes 16%, user fees 13%, legitimate wealth management 11% and other legitimate PAD 6%, all with unsuccessful criteria. (2) Regional retribution revenue is a source of PAD revenue with the lowest contribution of 9.17% (very low) in 2016-2020. (3) The average effectiveness of PAD in 2016-2020 is 96.46% (effective), and the average effectiveness of balancing funds in 2016-2020 is 99.88% (effective). (4) The average contribution of PAD revenue to regional income in 2016-2020 is 5.93% (very low) and the average contribution of balancing funds to regional income in 2016-2020 is 82.88% (very good).

Abstract

This study aims to identify the needs in the development of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) oriented E-LKPD (Electronic Learner Worksheet) to improve environmental literacy of grade VI elementary school students. The method used is descriptive qualitative as part of the 4D development model, focusing on the Define stage. Data were obtained through observations and interviews. Observations were conducted in class VI of SDN 25 Indralaya with 31 students, consisting of 21 boys and 10 girls. An interview was conducted with one sixth-grade teacher. The observation results showed limited technology facilities, such as projectors that were not optimal, as well as the lack of interactive learning media relevant to the concept of ESD. Interviews revealed that students were more enthusiastic about interesting and interactive media, while teachers indicated the need for learning media that support environmental literacy and active student involvement. The conclusion shows the need for ESD-oriented E-LKPD to increase student engagement and instill sustainability values. This media is expected to be an effective solution in supporting students' environmental literacy and ESD-based learning.

Abstract

This research is correlational in nature. The objective of this study is to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between vocabulary mastery in Indonesian and the narrative writing ability of visually impaired students in grade VII at SLBN Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Ngawi. The sample of this study consists of 5 visually impaired students in grade VII. Data collection techniques were conducted through vocabulary tests and narrative writing tasks. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively using correlation analysis methods. The quantitative results show that 1) The correlation analysis results reveal that the score from vocabulary tests conducted by the researcher on visually impaired grade VII students yielded a value of 0.998, which is greater than the product-moment correlation table value of 0.878. This indicates that the calculated r-value is greater than the r-table value (0.998 > 0.878). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and narrative writing ability among visually impaired grade VII students at SLBN Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Ngawi.

Abstract

The development of teaching materials based on Artificial Intelligence assisted by the Solar System Scope application for the solar system topic in Grade VI at SDN 05 Indralaya uses the ADDIE model. It aims to develop teaching materials on the solar system topic by achieving valid and practical levels of the developed materials. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The research results show that the material validity reached 97.22%, categorized as very valid, and the media validity reached 95%, also categorized as very valid. The assessment from the trial of the developed teaching materials obtained an average of 95.5%, falling into the very valid category. The high scores from expert evaluations and trials indicate that the developed teaching materials are feasible and can be applied in school learning.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan tindakan menunda-nunda mengerjakan tugas. Mahasiswa aktif perkuliahan cenderung melakukan prokrastinasi akademik yang disebabkan oleh individu yang kurang mampu untuk mengelola diri, sehingga pencapaian prestasi belajar tidak optimal. Kebiasaan prokrastinasi akademik dapat dikurangi dengan menerapkan self management skill yang baik, sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengarahkan dan mengolah diri agar kehidupan berjalan lebih produktif. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan self management skill dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa keperawatan semester 6 di Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian korelasi analitik dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Sampel penelitian yang diambil dengan menggunakan proportionated  random  sampling berjumlah 108 mahasiswa. Data penelitian diambil dengan instrumen lembar kuesioner menggunakan google form. Hasil: menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa (58,3%) memiliki self management skill dengan kategori sedang, dan sebagian besar (51,9%) mahasiswa melakukan kebiasaan prokrastinasi akademik dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan perangkat SPSS 16.0 dengan menggunakan uji spearman Rho didapatkan nilai (p) = 0,000 dimana p<0,05 dan nilai (rs) = -0,515. Artinya terdapat hubungan antara self management skill dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa keperawatan semester 6 Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Kesimpulan: Kemampuan self management skill memiliki hubungan erat dengan kebiasaan prokrastinasi akademik. Mahasiswa dapat berlatih untuk melakukan self management skill dengan baik, sehingga dapat mecapai tujuan akademik yang baik.   Kata kunci : prokrastinasi akademik, self management skill

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pendidikan dasar di Indonesia cenderung memprioritaskan aspek akademik, sehingga pengembangan sosial emosional siswa masih kurang diperhatikan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang berjudul "Pelatihan Penyusunan Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional (PSE)" dilaksanakan oleh tim PGSD FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya bagi guru SD di Kota Prabumulih. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun pembelajaran berbasis sosial emosional yang berperan dalam kesejahteraan dan perkembangan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tiga pertemuan; pertemuan pertama dilakukan secara tatap muka, dan dua pertemuan berikutnya dilakukan secara daring. Setiap sesi melibatkan pemberian materi, diskusi, pembimbingan, serta presentasi modul ajar PSE yang disusun oleh peserta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada seluruh indikator pemahaman, menandakan efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan PSE. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil membantu para guru mengintegrasikan pendekatan sosial emosional dalam pembelajaran, yang diharapkan dapat membawa dampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan di Kota Prabumulih. Rekomendasi dari program ini adalah perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pendampingan penerapan PSE di kelas untuk memastikan implementasi yang konsisten dan maksimal. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran sosial emosional, pengabdian kepada mayarakat, pelatihan guru [English]: Primary education in Indonesia has historically prioritized academic aspects, resulting in limited attention to students' social and emotional development. To address this issue, an initiative within the Community Service Program titled "Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in Training Program" was conducted by the PGSD FKIP team from Universitas Sriwijaya for elementary school teachers in Prabumulih City. This program aimed to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in developing SEL-based teaching, which plays a significant role in students' well-being and growth. The program utilized a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through three sessions: a face-to-face first session followed by two online sessions. Each session included presentations, discussions, mentorship, and participants' presentations of SEL teaching modules they developed. Data collection was gathered using pretests and posttests to measure participants' understanding before and after the training. The results demonstrated improvement across all measured indicators, indicating the effectiveness of the training in enhancing teachers' skills in implementing SEL. This program successfully enabled teachers to integrate social-emotional strategies into their teaching practices, which is expected to positively impact educational quality in Prabumulih City. The program recommends ongoing training and support for SEL application to ensure consistency and optimal results. Keywords: social emotional learning, community service, teacher training

Abstract

This study aims to analyzed the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) procedure on construction projects in the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Housing Office of East Kalimantan Province, particularly in the Water Resources sector. The focus of this research is on comparing the level of OHS implementation between small and non-small construction companies. The method used in this research was a quantitative approach with questionnaire instruments, validity and reliability tests, and statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test and contingency coefficient. The results showed that there was a difference in the level of implementation of the OHS procedure between small and non-small construction companies, as well as a significant relationship between the company category and the level of compliance with the implementation of OHS. This research can be forms the basis for recommendations to improve the effectiveness of policies, quality of training, implementation of procedures, awareness raising and completeness of work safety facilities.

Abstract

Background: The behavior of nurses who are less careful in sorting waste will cause work accidents in hospitals because of the results of nursing actions on patients. The characteristics of nurses' behavior in sorting waste can be seen from observation, awareness and intention. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the behavior of sorting medical and non-medical waste among nurses at. Methodology: This study used a cross sectional design. The sample in this study was taken using Simple Random Sampling of 54 nurse. This research a questionnaire and observations. Which is analyzed using the Spearman Rank Test. Result: This research shows that there is a positive correlation between the knowledge and behavior in sorting medical and non-medical waste among nurses r = (0.347), p <(0,000). As knowledge increases, nurses' behavior in sorting medical and non-medical waste increases. Conclusions: Based on this research, it is hoped that hospitals can become an illustration and reference in maintaining knowledge, improving management, sorting waste, training and monitoring waste disposal behavior.
