Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) present a major challenge for nurses in managing various administrative and technical demands, often leading to difficulties in documentation. These challenges can be addressed by improving work motivation and the quality of healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between work motivation and the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) among nurses. An analytic correlational study with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The sample consisted of 117 nurses selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Spearman rho test via SPSS software. The results showed that the majority of nurses had high work motivation (72 nurses, 61.5%), and most classified their EMR use as moderate (63 nurses, 53.8%). Statistical analysis indicated a significant positive correlation between work motivation and EMR usage (p = 0.000; rs = 0.065), suggesting a strong positive association between these variables among nurses in the inpatient ward of Dr. Soegiri Regional Public Hospital, Lamongan. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that most nurses demonstrated high work motivation while EMR usage remained moderate. This research may serve as a valuable reference in developing strategies to enhance nursing service quality through optimal and sustainable use of technology.

Abstract

Seorang perawat yang bekerja secara shift biasanya mengalami gangguan ritme sirkardian, hal ini menjadi masalah ketika perawat tidak bisa mengatur jadwal kerja dengan teratur dan menjaga aktivitas fisik secara optimal Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengidentifikasi hubungan shift kerja dan aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan Ritme Sirkadian pada perawat. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Secttional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 117 perawat yang diambil dengan teknik Clusster Random Sampling, data diambil menggunakan lembar kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Spearman Rho dengan shoftware SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perawat dengan shift kerja tidak teratur mengalami gangguan ritme sirkadian kategori berat dengan nilai signifikan p value kurang dari alpha maka ada hubungan shift kerja dengan gangguan ritme sirkadian pada perawat, perawat dengan aktivitas fisik rendah mengalami gangguan ritme sirkadian kategori berat dengan nilai signifikan p value kurang dari alpha maka ada hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan ritme sirkadian pada perawat. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian mengenai hubungan shift kerja dan aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan ritme sirkadian pada perawat diharapkan perawat bisa menerapkan jadwal kerja yang tepat dan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik dapat menjaga keseimbangan ritme sirkadian guna mengoptimalkan kinerja perawat di lingkungan rumah sakit.

Abstract

Loyalitas pasien merupakan bentuk kesetiaan pasien terhadap rumah sakit. Rendahnya loyalitas pasien pada rumah sakit bisa terjadi karena komunikasi terapeutik yang dilakukan perawat kurang optimal yang dapat menurunkan jumlah kunjungan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan komunikasi terapeutik dengan loyalitas pasien di Rumah Sakit Intan Medika Lamongan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Analitik Korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 70 pasien di Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Intan Medika Lamongan, yang menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner komunikasi terapeutik dan loyalitas pasien. Setelah ditabulasi data dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearmen Rank dengan aplikasi SPSS.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar pasien memiliki komunikasi terapeutik baik yaitu (64,29%), dan sebagian besar pasien memiliki loyalitas baik yaitu (70,00%). Hasil uji Spearmen Rank didapatkan r = 0,563 dan p = 0,000. Artinya terdapat hubungan komunikasi terapeutik dengan loyalitas pasien di Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Intan Medika Lamongan.Upaya untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pasien, salah satunya yaitu dengan memberikan kualitas pelayanan yang baik dengan menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik yang optimal.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik dalam memahami pembelajaran dikarenakan media yang digunakan sebagai alat peraga pembelajaran IPAS kurang memadai. Mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini akan mengembangkan suatu media pembelajaran 3D Augmented Reality menggunakan platform Sketchfab dan Assemblr Edu pada materi organ pencernaan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, lembar validasi, kuesioner, dan tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kevalidan media dengan persentase 95% menunjukkan media termasuk kategori sangat valid. Persentase yang tinggi menandakan media pembelajaran dapat di uji cobakan. Hasil uji coba perorangan dan uji coba kelompok kecil mendapat persentase 95,5% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Menilai efektivitas media pembelajaran, dilakukan uji coba lapangan dengan memberikan soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,74 yang tergolong dalam kategori tinggi ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran efektif dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa media pembelajaran 3D augmented reality yang dikembangkan menunjukkan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifitasan yang sangat baik dimana hasil tes nya mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan dan relevan. Disarankan peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian serupa untuk jenjang kelas yg lebih tinggi terutama aspek pencernaan manusia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in understanding the digestive system material in elementary school. The objective of this study was to develop an instructional medium in the form of an interactive digital poster to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 25 Indralaya. This study employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 25 Indralaya. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, tests, observations, and documentation. The validation results indicated that the developed media was highly feasible, with a material expert validation score of 92.85%, media expert validation score of 94.23%, and practitioner expert validation score of 92.04%, all categorized as very feasible. The practicality test showed a very positive student response, with a score of 93.75% in the individual trial and 94.04% in the small group trial, both categorized as very practical. The effectiveness analysis based on the N-Gain score revealed a result of 0.979, which is classified as very high. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the interactive digital poster developed in this study is highly feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills in the topic of the digestive system.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive gamification-based learning media for the water cycle topic in fifth-grade elementary school science. The background of the research is the lack of engaging and interactive media in science learning, which affects students' motivation and conceptual understanding. This research employed the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The trial subjects were students of Class V.A at SD Negeri 14 Indralaya Utara. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, documentation, validation sheets, and questionnaires. The validation results showed that media experts gave a score of 97.5%, subject matter experts also gave 97.5%, and two practitioners gave 91.6%. The average validation score from all validators was 91.6%, categorized as “very valid.” The media was then tested through one-to-one trials with a result of 96.6% and small group trials with a result of 95.5%. The average practicality score was 95.8%, categorized as “very practical”. The developed media includes features such as narration, animation, interactive quizzes, levels, rewards, and feedback. The results concluded that the gamification-based learning media is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students' understanding and learning motivation. This product is recommended to support science learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

Choking is a common emergency in children and infants. Failure to respond quickly can lead to death. Mothers play a crucial role as first responders, yet many mothers are underprepared. Choking management training programs are crucial to help mothers respond quickly and appropriately at home. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of choking management training on mothers' knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a single-group pre and post-test. A total of 49 mothers participated in the study. The training program consisted of education about the risks of choking, recognizing the signs and symptoms, and demonstrating choking management techniques. Knowledge, attitudes, and skills were measured using questionnaires before and after the intervention and analyzed using a paired t-test. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge and skills with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). However, no significant difference in attitudes before and after the training (p-value: 0.214 (p>0.05)). Training programs that include education and demonstrations effectively increase knowledge and skills regarding choking response, but are insufficient to rapidly change attitudes. Improved knowledge and skills are driven by demonstrations that provide direct sensory experience and facilitate the absorption of technical information. On the other hand, the lack of significant change in attitudes may be due to the influence of psychological factors and internal beliefs. Changes in these factors require more time and repeated experience. Furthermore, ongoing support is crucial to strengthen mothers' psychological preparedness and attitudes in emergencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity of a science literacy-oriented learning assessment instrument assisted by memory flashcards on the Life Cycle of Living Things material for third-grade elementary school students. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques thru a validation questionnaire assessed by assessment experts, content experts, and two practitioner experts. The data was analyzed quantitatively and descriptively using a Likert scale and the feasibility percentage was calculated. The validation results show that this assessment instrument is considered highly valid, with an average percentage of 92% from assessment experts, 95% from content experts, and 96.2% from practitioner experts. Revisions based on validator suggestions focused on balancing the material (humans, animals, plants) and aligning the questions with the three aspects of scientific literacy (content, process, context). The conclusion of this research is that the learning assessment instrument developed with the aid of memory flashcards has met high validity criteria, is suitable for use, and has the potential to become an interactive and contextual assessment medium to support the science literacy of third-grade students according to the characteristics of Generation Alpha.

Abstract

This study evaluates the sustainability level of the silk weaving agroindustry in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi, using a Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) approach across four dimensions: economic, social, environmental, and resource based. Data were collected from 86 silk weaving agroindustry units through surveys and structured interviews. The results show that the overall sustainability status is classified as moderately sustainable, with sustainability index values of 72% (economic), 68% (resource), 64% (social), and 53% (environmental). The economic dimension demonstrates the strongest performance, reflecting relatively stable profitability and market accessibility, while the environmental dimension exhibits the lowest score, indicating weaknesses in waste management practices, the adoption of environmentally friendly materials, and environmental standards. These findings highlight environmental management as the main leverage point for improving overall sustainability. This study contributes to applied sustainability science by providing a quantitative, multidimensional assessment framework for traditional agroindustries and offers empirical evidence to support sustainability-oriented policy formulation and the strategic development of local silk weaving enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' needs for digital storybooks based on the local wisdom of the "ngidang" tradition of Palembang as a medium for learning moral values for children aged 5–6 years. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with 29 kindergarten teachers in Palembang as subjects. Data were collected through a Google Form-based questionnaire and written interviews. The questionnaire instrument covered five aspects: limitations of learning media, the need for innovative media, children's attention problems with conventional media, perceptions of digital storybooks, and teachers' readiness and support in using digital media. Data analysis was carried out by calculating percentage scores. The results showed that all aspects obtained percentages above 70%, indicating a high need for teachers for digital storybooks as a medium for instilling moral values. Teachers stated that available learning media were still limited and children easily bored with conventional methods. In addition, teachers had a positive perception of digital storybooks, which were considered able to improve attention, understanding, and the quality of learning. Interview findings also confirmed that digital storybooks based on local wisdom were considered relevant, interesting, and effective in instilling moral values such as togetherness, empathy, and responsibility. This shows that the development of digital story books based on the Palembang ngidang tradition is considered necessary and contains high urgency as an innovative media for learning moral values for children aged 5-6 years.
