Abstract

This article examines the development of the science of hadith as a crucial pillar in Islamic scholarly tradition and the emergence of the Qur'anists (commonly referred to as Ingkar Sunnah), who reject the authority of hadith as a source of Islamic law and teachings. The study explores the historical evolution of hadith science from the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the contemporary era, including the establishment of methodologies for sanad (chain of transmission) and matan (content) criticism, as well as the role of scholars in preserving the authenticity of hadith. On the other hand, the article analyzes the thoughts and arguments of Qur'anists, focusing on their historical background, factors contributing to their spread, and the ideological and practical implications of their rejection of hadith. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, the article finds that the development of hadith science has significantly contributed to safeguarding the authenticity of Islamic tradition, while the Qur'anist movement often arises as a response to specific social, political, and intellectual dynamics. This study highlights the importance of scholarly dialogue and comprehensive education in addressing the challenges posed by this group, while reinforcing the appreciation of hadith science as an integral part of Islamic intellectual heritage.

Abstract

From several theories that are widely expressed by experts about the beginning of the creation of the universe, as well as information about the universe both from the scientific or scientific side. This makes us as writers, want to retrace the understanding of how the concept of the beginning of the creation of the universe from the Qur'an or science, and understand all the contents of the universe that have been created in accordance with the Qur'an Hadith. This study aims to determine the conceptualization of the beginning of the creation of the universe in terms of the Qur'an or science. And to know the content of the universe that was created through the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This research uses historical research methods assisted by using the Big Bang theory, and scientific interpretation theory. This research will help readers know the beginning of the creation of the universe according to the Qur'an and science and know the content of the universe according to the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Budaya pesantren salah satu karakteristik dari kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan di pesantren. Nuansa yang kental akan kerukunan dan keharmonisan antara sesama santri dan juga santri kepada kiayi merupakan sirkulasi yang penuh dengan tata krama, sopan santun, nilai-nilai spritual dan lingkungan moral yang mendukung terbentuknya karakter. Selain sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonesia, pesantren bersumbangsih besar terhadap perkembangan peradaban di Indonesia serta menjaga Kebhinekaan yang menjadi semboyan kuat bangsa ini. Salah satunya adalah pesantren modern yang merupakan salah satu pesantren yang menggunakan sistem modern dalam pendidikannya telah berpengaruh besar dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kerukunan dan keharmonisan. Para santri pada Pesantren Modern umumnya datang dari berbagai daerah dan dari bergai macam suku, sehingga menimbulkan sifat multikultural di dalamnya. Maka oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan membahas pendidikan multikultural yang terjadi pada budaya pesantren modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi pustaka (library research) lalu dilakukan analisis dari berbagai macam sumber dari buku, jurnal dan artikel. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pendidikan multikultural pada budaya pesantren modern yang ditelaah dari sumber referensi pustaka.

Abstract

This study aims to empower students linguistically and culturally. In the context of Arabic language education, it enables them to acquire some Islamic cultural knowledge related to doctrinal matters that are essential for any Muslim. The issue of divine will in creed has been widely discussed, and it is not appropriate to overlook it. This underscores the significant importance of integrating linguistic and doctrinal aspects. The study is based on field research, adopting a qualitative descriptive approach. Data is collected through observation and documentation. Following the study, the researchers conclude that achieving integration in Mufaza Indonesia Secondary School can be accomplished by formulating texts that convey information about the issue of divine will. This involves reviewing the prescribed textbooks for students in the school to ensure the absence of the desired topic. These texts can be presented to students in reading education, whether in intensive or extensive reading. To ensure students' understanding, teachers can pose objective questions about the text.

Abstract

One object of study of God is God's order for humans, commonly known as Sunatullah. Allah SWT as a substance that is the creator of all beings both human and the entire universe is one of the regularities of Allah SWT. Furthermore, the phenomenon of the order of God Almighty in His creation can be seen starting from the creation of humans and nature and their contents. In the level of theology, God's order for human beings (Sunatullah) is not limited to the regularities possessed by His creatures, but more than that, the various regularities that occur in creatures are the will of Allah SWT. Allah Almighty is the substance that wills, and controls the order in His creatures. Sunnatullah as a concept should be invested in Islamic education. Therefore it is necessary to understand about sunnatullah as something that must be believed, used as guidelines and translated at the level of education. After being translated into the education curriculum, the next task of education is to implement sunnatullah as a theological concept into a practical action for students.

Abstract

The modernization of Islamic boarding schools is one of the attitudes and solutions for Islamic boarding schools to continue to exist in meeting the needs of education in Indonesia. The Al-Wustho Foundation, from its inception, has combined formal school and non-formal Islamic boarding schools, as well as informal and family guidance models. By implementing collective management, the Al-Wushto foundation has gained the trust of the surrounding community and even people outside the district by entrusting their children to get general and religious education to become human beings who are beneficial to religion, the state, and the nation. The purpose of this research is to reveal the modernization of the boarding school education institution of the Al-Wustho Pabuaran Subang foundation in terms of transformative leadership styles, collective management, and a combination of formal and formal curricula so that it becomes an accredited institution. With the case study method and descriptive qualitative approach, the author tries to reveal all activities at the Al-Wustho foundation through observation, interviews, and data tracing so that something unique and different from all its weaknesses and strengths is found from the typology of Islamic boarding schools in general. Keywords: Modernization, Islamic Education, Islamic Boarding Schools, Foundations

Abstract

It is a requirement for Islamic boarding schools-based Islamic educational institutions to improve themselves and carry out more contemporary reforms. This step must be conducted without ignoring the spirit of pesantren as the place of people who understand and implement religious knowledge in everyday life. These reforms can be related to institutional management in transformative leadership, educational curriculum combining religious and general knowledge, also learning processes in the terms of approaches, models, and learning methods. It can be achieved by developing effective communication among educators, students, and parents. In this study, the authors focus on the problem of reforming learning methods by using the development of effective communication at the Islamic boarding school of Al-Wustho Foundation in Pabuaran Subang which is considered successful. This study aims to provide correct knowledge and information about the important changes in Islamic boarding schools. By using case study and descriptive qualitative approach, the authors try to uncover the occurring phenomena by conducting interviews, observations, and processing documents by interpretating the data to become a unified results. This study revealed that the intended modern learning methods are the refinement and adjustment of classical methods, muhafadzah, riyadhah, and scientific rihlah. The four methods are developed through effective communication to lead to the goals of habituating discipline, healthy living, and worship so that Islamic boarding schools do not lose their spirit to meet the needs of education, development, and society in the religious field.

Abstract

Tafsir modern-kontemporer memberikan angin segar bagi khazanah keilmuan tafsir Al-Qur’an. Ia berusaha untuk menyingkap makna Al-Qur’an dengan cara mengembalikan fungsi Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk hidup manusia dengan cara menerapkan prinsip al-ihtida bil qur’an, yakni menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk hidup serta menjaga relevansi penafsiran dengan realitas kehidupan manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan sejarah munculnya tafsir modern-kontemporer, model dan karakteristik tafsir modern-kontemporer serta kitab-kitab tafsir modern-kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data library research (studi kepustakaan). Tafsir modern-kontemporer lahir pada abad 19 M akhir sampai dengan 21 M diawali oleh pemikiran Muhammad Abduh yang gencar menyebarkan paham pembaharuan atau tajdid. Ia juga melihat tafsir-tafsir di masa sebelumnya yang cenderung bertele-tele dan melupakan tujuan utama Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup manusia, terutama mengkritik tafsir yang bercorak lughawi sehingga lahirlah corak adabi ijtima’i. Corak lain yang ada pada masa ini adalah ilmi’, ilhadi dan feminisme. Sedangkan kitab-kitab tafsirnya adalah tafsir Al-Manar karya Muhammad Abduh dan Rasyid Raidha, Fi Zhilalil Qur’an karya Sayyid Qutub dan Al-Misbah karya Quraish Shihab. Tafsir ini menggunakan sumber penafsiran bil ma’tsur dan bil ra’yi dan metode yang digunakan adalah maudhui, tahlili dan kontekstual. Diantara karakteristiknya adalah memadukan teori kekinian atau kontekstaulitas dengan kaidah teori Al-Qur’an, menyingkap dengan lugas aspek keindahan bahasa Al-Qur’an dengan singkat dan kembali memfungsikan Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk.Â
