Abstract

This study aims to try to analyze the education system of the Salafiyah Assanusi Islamic boarding school amid modernization. The method in this study was conducted using a case study qualitative approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the people of the Assanusi Islamic Boarding School, Babakan Ciwaringin, Cirebon, using the sources of informants: Kyai, Teachers, Administrators, and Santri. The results of this study the researchers found that there was a change in the education system at the Assanusi Islamic boarding school from a traditional education system to a modern education system in the aspects of institutions, buildings, and learning methods in formal schools that refer to the K13 learning curriculum through the Ministry of Education and Culture, but in terms of Religious science learning in Islamic boarding schools is still running using the sorogan, wetonan and bandongan and still preserving the elements of the Salafiyah Islamic boarding school, namely Kyai, santri, yellow books, mosques and huts as dormitories where the students and Kyai live without losing their values. Islamic values by teaching the yellow books as a learning curriculum which is the hallmark of the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. These changes are influenced by factors outside the Assanusi Islamic boarding school, which have developed according to the development and needs of the community at this time. So the Assanusi Islamic Boarding School must prepare graduates who are ready to enter the community with Islamic values and general knowledge at this time.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the results of the meaning of the activities of the Al-Qur'an Village Movement in Cijaha Village, Kadongdong, Subdistrict, Banjarwangi, Garut district, West Java using a typology of meaning from Karl Mannheim's theory of the sociology of knowledge. The activities of the Al-Qur'an village movement are as a forum for students and female students to become mobilizers who serve the community by disseminating knowledge of the Al-Qur'an. This research uses field research with a descriptive-qualitative method based on Karl Mannheim's theory of the sociology of knowledge. Through this research method, findings were produced in the form of the Al-Qur'an Village Movement activities which produced volunteers who were sensitive to social and community conditions who were enthusiastic about practicing the reading and values of the Al-Qur'an, so that it was useful in reducing the illiteracy rate of the Al-Qur'an. deviant social behaviour and personality.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji bagaimana seharusnya seorang pendidik dalam mengajarkan pendidikan kepada peserta didik dalam rangka menumbuh kembangkan spiritualitasnya yang merupakan inti dari pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bersifat library riset, menelaah dan menkaji setiap sumber rujukan bacaan yang relevan dengan tema yang dibahas. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kompetensi yang dimikiki seorang guru dalam mengajarkan berbagai ilmu pengetahuan harus berlandaskan atas nilai-nilai ketuhanan sebagaimana yang dimanifestasikan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya, dengan kompetensi pedagogik profetik menjadikan peserta didik bukan hanya ahli di berbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan saja, tetapi juga sekaligus menumbuh kembangkan spiritualitas pada dirinya sehingga menjadi pribadi yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah SWT sebagai dzat yang menciptakannya sebagai bentuk spiritualitasnya, sekaligus memahaminya untuk membangun komunitas sosial yang ideal (khoiru ummah), peserta didik juga dipersepsikan sebagai individu sekaligus komunitas sehingga standar keberhasilannya diukur berdasarkan kecapaian yang menginternal dalam individu dan yang teraktualisasi secara sosial, sehingga kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Happiness is the hope and dream of every human being as the ultimate goal of everything, happiness and safety are the ideals in every life. But where can we find happiness? Some people argue that the source of happiness is abundant wealth, high positions, or a lot of knowledge so that mistakes in perspective make the human paradigm deviate from achieving life goals. For people who believe, they will know that the true source of happiness lies not in abundant wealth, high positions, or a lot of knowledge, but lies in the pleasure of Allah SWT. Therefore, the ultimate goal of a believer is to reach the pleasure of Allah SWT (mardhotillah), in achieving it to get mardhotollah is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand riyadhotun nafs method is one method in achieving mardhotillah, stages and lifestyles that are carried out consistently doing riyadhoh In Sufism it is called maqomat, while maqomat is the inner level in doing soul training towards the kholiq, Dusi expression (2015: 196)

Abstract

This study tries to unravel the problems of street children related to character building, especially in the aspects of personal and social skills. So we need a model of character education that is considered suitable to be implemented in street children. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The results of this study conclude that, Among the character education models that can be implemented on street children are problem-based learning models, emphasizing more on the application of problem solving methods or problem solving which by John Dewey consists of six learning steps as follows: 1) formulating problems; 2) analyze the problem; 3) formulate hypotheses; 4) collect data; 5) hypothesis testing; and 6) formulate problem solving recommendations.
