Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of family characteristic, family capitals, and livelihood strategy toward family well-being. The sample of this study was family with wife who worked as a tea picker in Purwabakti, Pamijahan, Bogor. There were 100 families chosen randomly in this research. Family well-being was observed based on indicators defined by National Population and Family Planning Board (NPFPB) and Statistics Indonesia (SI). The analyses used in this research were descriptive analyses, independent sample T-test, and logistic regression. The result showed husband age and family size negatively affected the family well-being. Physical capital and financial capitals positively affected the family well-being. Meanwhile, livelihood strategy did not significantly affect the family well-being.Keywords: family capitals, family well-being, livelihood strategies Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik keluarga, kepemilikan modal keluarga, dan strategi nafkah terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Contoh dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga dengan istri yang bekerja sebagai buruh pemetik teh di Desa Purwabakti, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor. Contoh dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih secara acak. Kesejahteraan keluarga diukur dengan menggunakan indikator BKKBN dan BPS. Analisis yang digunakan merupakan analisis deskriptif, uji beda independent sample T-test dan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umur suami dan besar keluarga berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Modal fisik dan modal finansial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Sementara itu, strategi nafkah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga.Kata kunci : kesejahteraan keluarga, modal keluarga, strategi nafkah

Abstract

Stress can hinder academic success, especially for married women student because stress can decreased energy and motivation to do college activities and household tasks, therefore it is important for the students to avoid stress in order to have a good achievement at academic. This research aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics, family characteristics, stressors, social support, coping strategies, and stress towards the married women students life satisfaction. The object of this research are post graduate women students of Bogor Agriculture University. Data collection is done using self-report method to 100 women married students. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test and corellation test. The most stressor came from itself,  instrumental support was the most accepted among social support, most applied strategy in coping is the problem-focused strategy, the highest life satisfaction was life full of meaning and responsibility. Life satisfaction of married women students was influenced significantly positive by coping strategies and significantly negatif by stress.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 is a family of viruses that cause disease ranging from mild to serious illness, such as common cold and serious disease like MERS and SARS. Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the economy, agriculture, and food. One of the economically affected is Duwet Krajan Village. Duwet Krajan has various potentials that can be continuously developed, one of which is agricultural potential in the form of toga. The aim of implementing training and counseling in Duwet Krajan Village is to provide education and understanding about improving the family economy in the midst of a pandemic. The method used is quantitative research and active participation. The activity was carried out from November to December 2020. The results obtained from training and counseling were the knowledge and skills of partners in the toga processing business.increased obtained from training and counseling are the increased knowledge and skills of partners in processing toga. This results that toga training and counseling had an impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of the PKK Dusun Duwet Krajan. Kata kunci: covid 19, pandemic, toga, training

Abstract

The communication channel is a media for sustainable agricultural development and the use of innovation and technology for improving people's welfare without ignoring the preservation of natural and environmental resources. The government encourages the application of geomembrane technological innovations in salt production with the aim of increasing the productivity and quality of the salt produced. The purpose of this reseach is to describe the communication channels and perceptions of people's salt farmers on geomembrane technology innovation, and analyze the correlation of communication channels with perceptions of salt pond technology innovation. The unit of analysis is community salt farmers in the Gersik Putih village and Sentol Daya village, Sumenep Regency, with 68 respondents. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation method. The result of the research showed that the bottom of the salt salt farmer uses all communication channels except internet hybrid media. The lowest perception is the level of complexity and the highest perception is the level of trialability in geomembrane technology. Interpersonal communication channel related to perceptions of innovation on the characteristics of the level of relative advantage, level of compatibility, and level of observability. While group communication netagative relates to the level of trialability.

Abstract

Generation Y has the highest rate of Covid-19 contaminated cases. This is due to frequent movements and activities outside the home. This study was intended to investigate the impact of individual characteristics, knowledge, and attitudes on behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 in Ponorogo. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people with an age range of 20-35 years, consisting of 16 people and 84 women. The sampling technique used is voluntary sampling. The questionnaire was made in a form, and the link was distributed online. Data analysis used descriptive tests and SEM-PLS. The results of the SEM-PLS show that there is a significant effect of gender on knowledge and behaviour in preventing infection with Covid-19, as well as attitudes towards behaviour in preventing infection with Covid-19. The results show no significant differences in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours to prevent infection with Covid-19 in urban and rural individuals. Individual women have better knowledge and behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 than men, and good behaviour will increase behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19. Socialization and behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 must be increased, especially for men.

Abstract

Debt behavior often occurs when someone is in an urgent situation to meet their needs. This study aims to analyze the influence of family characteristics, financial literacy, and hedonic lifestyle on debt management behavior in young married families. The sample in this study are middle-aged women who married at the age of 19 and under and live in Jabodetabek. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method as many as 52 people who had or currently had debt. Data were processed using descriptive statistical tests and multiple linear regression tests. The level of financial literacy (knowledge, attitude, and behavior dimensions) of respondents is categorized as medium. Respondents in this study did not have a tendency to live a hedonic lifestyle. Likewise, debt management behavior is in the low category. There is a negative relationship between respondents' age and debt management behavior. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that financial literacy (attitude dimension) has a significant effect on debt management behavior. This means that the better the respondent's attitude towards finance, the better the behavior in managing debt. Meanwhile, there is no significant influence between hedonic lifestyle and debt management behavior. Financial literacy needs to be well owned in order to create good debt management behavior.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim memberikan dampak terhadap ketidakstabilan ekonomi keluarga nelayan sehingga menjadikan keluarga nelayan rentan secara ekonomi. Kondisi tersebut menjadikan keluarga perlu melakukan strategi penghidupan dan manajemen keuangan agar keluarga mampu mencapai ketahanan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik keluarga, strategi penghidupan, manajemen keuangan, dan kerentanan ekonomi terhadap ketahanan keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Jumlah responden yang terlibat adalah 100 orang istri. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penghidupan, manajemen keuangan, dan ketahanan keluarga nelayan berada pada kategori rendah, sementara kerentanan ekonomi keluarga nelayan berada pada kategori tinggi. Manajemen keuangan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ketahanan keluarga. Kerentanan ekonomi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ketahanan keluarga.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan masyarakat, termasuk remaja, beradaptasi dengan segala aspek kehidupan. Hal ini berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, dukungan sosial, dan strategi koping terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study dan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara daring dengan alat bantu kuesioner. Sejumlah 427 siswa SMA di DKI Jakarta terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi spearman dan partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia berhubungan positif dengan kecerdasan emosional dan dukungan sosial. Remaja laki-laki memiliki kecerdasan emosional dan kesejahteraan psikologis lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan. Semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional dan koping adaptif maka semakin tinggi kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Sementara, semakin tinggi koping maladaptif maka semakin rendah kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Dukungan sosial tidak terbukti berpengaruh langsung terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, namun dukungan sosial ditemukan berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis, baik melalui koping adaptif maupun koping maladaptif. Saran berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis, remaja perlu meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional melalui kemampuan emosional, kemampuan bersosialisasi, pengendalian diri, dan rasa sejahtera. Keluarga dan lingkungan remaja dapat memberikan dukungan sosial yang konstruktif. Disamping itu remaja dapat dibiasakan untuk secara efektif mengatasi masalah sehingga dapat mengurangi dampak emosional negatifnya dan mengurangi strategi yang tidak mengubah situasi atau memperburuk.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the characteristics, parental involvement, school service quality, and parent satisfaction of public elementary school students and analyze the influence of parental involvement and school service quality on parent satisfaction of public elementary school students. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method, using cluster random sampling, and a questionnaire was distributed to 119 parents whose children are at the elementary school level in Bekasi City. The data was collected and then processed with descriptive tests and impact tests using SPSS and SmartPLS. The results showed that parental involvement did not have a direct impact on parent satisfaction, but it was moderated by school service quality. School service quality perception had a direct and significant impact on parent satisfaction. Parents need to be more aware of the role they play in their children's education and make an effort to be involved in children's learning process. For schools, it is necessary to periodically evaluate the quality of school services because it greatly influences parental satisfaction.

Abstract

Dual-income families are currently a global phenomenon that occurs due to the increasing economic demands on families. Economic demands on families. Dual-income families have a source of income from two sources of income, namely, the wife and husband. Dual-income families have the opportunity to allocate income to invest so that in the future, financial problems do not arise due to a lack of awareness in managing income, which can affect the subjective well-being of the family. This study aims to determine the effect of investment risk profile and investment behavior on dual-income family welfare. On dual-income family welfare. This study used a cross-sectional research design located in Depok City. A total of 100 working wives involved in this study were selected purposively. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively, and correlation and regression tests were conducted using the SPSS version 25.0 application. The results showed that there is a relationship between education, wife's income, husband's education, investment behavior, and subjective well-being with investment risk profile. The results also show that there is a relationship between the wife's education, the husband's income, and subjective well-being with investment behavior. The regression test results show that investment behavior has a significant positive effect on the investment risk profile.
