Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance of the employee of a shoe industry in Tangerang which are mediated by readiness for change. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 117 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership have not significant effect on the employee performance, but transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the employee of a shoe industry in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of brand leadership (consisting of the dimensions of quality, value, innovation, and popularity) felt by consumers of e-commerce sites on customer loyalty through the mediation variable of customer satisfaction among private students. The sample for this research was taken from 1026 private university students in Indonesia using simple random sampling techniques and using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with SmartPLS version 4.0 software as a statistical tool. The results of this research show that all dimensions of brand leadership have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Likewise, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. The quality dimension has the greatest influence on encouraging customer satisfaction on e-commerce sites. Then followed by the dimensions of value, innovation, and popularity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of information technology adoption on knowledge-sharing intention by involving the leadership style variable as a mediator. The sample of this research was taken from 102 lecturers of a private university in Indonesia using a simple random sampling technique and using Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS version 4.0 software as a statistical tool. The results of this study indicate that information technology adoption has a positive and significant effect on knowledge-sharing intention, either directly or through leadership style mediation. Therefore, leadership style can be a variable mediator that strengthens the influence of information technology adoption on knowledge-sharing intention.

Abstract

This study explores the interplay of social media, website quality, festival satisfaction, and festival revisiting intention in the context of tourism in Indonesia. Data were gathered from samples of 253 tourists at Festival Kebudayaan Yogyakarta (FKY) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and analyzed using partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS (4.0). The research investigates the relationships between these variables to provide valuable insights for destination marketers and event organizers. The findings reveal that social media and website quality positively influence festival satisfaction, which in turn impacts tourists' intentions to revisit the festival. These results underscore the significance of leveraging social media and ensuring high website quality to enhance festival experiences and encourage repeat visitation. The implications of these findings extend to the broader tourism industry, offering valuable guidance for promoting sustainable and engaging cultural events in Indonesia and potentially in other similar contexts.

Abstract

This research uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) using SmartPLS software to analyze the relationship between authentic leadership, organizational culture, and organizational commitment in a university context. Focusing on the influence of deans and directors at Indonesian universities, this research investigates how authentic leadership impacts organizational culture and subsequently influences the commitment of university lecturers. Through a survey involving 350 lecturers from several universities in Indonesia, this research reveals the dynamics between these variables. The results highlight the important role of authentic leadership in establishing a positive organizational culture that, in turn, increases organizational commitment among university faculty. This study also found that organizational culture is able to be a mediator that strengthens the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational commitment. The implications for sustainable organizational development and future research pathways are discussed in terms of these key variables using the PLS SEM methodology with SmartPLS software.

Abstract

Global economic growth has hovered around 2-3% over the past decade, resulting in stagnant GDP growth for Indonesia at approximately 5%. This research aims to analyze the effects of macroeconomic conditions, specifically money supply (M2), foreign debt, and international trade activities, on Indonesia's GDP growth from 1994 to 2023. Utilizing a linear regression method with 30 observations, the study finds significant impacts of the independent variables on GDP growth. M2 influences GDP growth by 93%, foreign debt by 76.6%, and net exports by 92.3%. Simultaneously, changes in these variables explain 93.7% of the variation in Indonesia's GDP. The theoretical foundation of this research is built upon previous studies on economic growth and macroeconomic factors, emphasizing the role of monetary policy, debt management, and export diversification. The findings indicate that the careful management of M2 is critical to fostering investment and consumption, while excessive reliance on foreign debt may hamper long-term growth. Non-oil and gas exports significantly contribute to GDP, underscoring the importance of export diversification. The study concludes that these macroeconomic factors are vital for sustainable economic growth and improving welfare in Indonesia, and recommends policy interventions to optimize their effects.
