Abstract

Education is a very important thing for all children in Indonesia. Education is a conscious and planned effort to realize learning and the learning process, so that students actively develop their potential. Education is needed by all children in Indonesia, including children with autism. Autism is a child who has psychomotor disorder, which makes it difficult for autistic children to interact with their social environment. Therefore, the authors want to do research on autistic children. Where the research was conducted to see changes in the interaction of autistic children through play activities. This research was carried out in the form of direct research, or qualitative methods of experimental phenomena. Where children are examined directly through play activities. Literature Review is also used in this study, to strengthen the arguments set. Literature Review also helps to compile and provide opinions in this writing. The time of this research was carried out within a period of three months. The success of this method will be seen through changes in the child. The method used was also a single research method (in 1 child). The research location was conducted at the Epiginosko Alam Sutra Learning House. Change in children is the ultimate goal in this study. Children are expected to be able to interact in their social environment. Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting pada seluruh anak di Indonesia. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan belajar dan proses pembelajaran, agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Pendidikan di butuhkan oleh semua anak di Indonesia, termasuk anak autis. Autis merupakan anak yang memiliki gangguan psikomotorik, yang membuat anak autis cenderung sulit untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosialnya. Oleh karena itu, penulis ingin melakukan penelitian pada anak autis. Dimana penelitian itu di lakukan untuk melihat perubahan interaksi anak autis melalui kegiatan bermain. Penelitian ini di lakukan dalam bentuk penelitian langsung, atau metode kualitatif fenomena eksperimen. Dimana anak di teliti secara langsung melalui kegiatan bermain. Kajian Pustaka juga di gunakan dalam penelitian ini, untuk memperkuat argumen-argumen yang di tetapkan. Kajian Pustaka juga membantu untuk Menyusun dan memberikan pendapat dalam penulisan ini. Waktu penelitian ini pun di lakukan dalam kurun waktu tiga bulan. Keberhasilan pada metode ini akan di lihat melalui perubahan pada anak tersebut. metode yang di gunakan pun metode penelitian tunggal (pada 1 anak). Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Belajar Epiginosko Alam Sutra. Perubahan pada anak adalah tujuan akhir dalam penelitian ini. Anak diharapkan mampu berinteraksi dalam lingkungan sosialnya.

Abstract

This study examines the various efforts undertaken by the Indonesian Christian Church of the Royal Family in Salatiga, Central Java, to foster spiritual maturity among its youth members. Recognizing the pivotal role of youth in the church's future, the church employs a multifaceted approach to ensure their spiritual growth and active participation in religious life. Key strategies include structured Bible study programs, youth fellowship activities, leadership training, and community service projects. The church also emphasizes the importance of mentorship, with older, spiritually mature members guiding the younger generation. These efforts are designed to address the unique spiritual needs of young people, providing them with a supportive environment where they can explore their faith, develop a personal relationship with God, and grow in their understanding of Christian principles. The effectiveness of these initiatives is evaluated through qualitative methods, including interviews and participant observation, revealing significant positive impacts on the spiritual lives of the youth. This research contributes to the broader discourse on youth ministry by highlighting successful practices that can be replicated in similar contexts to nurture spiritual maturity among young Christians.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to develop the social and emotional skills of children at the Cikahuripan Nusantara Association Foundation through the implementation of various innovative and participatory educational strategies. The program includes a series of activities designed to improve communication skills, empathy, emotion management, and cooperation among children. The methodology used in the program involves a participatory approach that involves children, teachers, and parents in a variety of activities, including role-playing, group discussions, and collaborative projects. This activity is carried out regularly with periodic supervision and evaluation to measure children's development. The results of this activity show that a holistic and inclusive approach can significantly improve children's social and emotional skills. Children who are involved in the program show improvement in communicating effectively, showing empathy for others, managing emotions better, and working together in a team. The conclusion of this activity is that development strategies that involve a collaborative approach and active support from families and communities can have a significant positive impact on children's social and emotional development. The program not only improves the quality of children's social interactions but also strengthens the bonds between children, families, and communities. The implementation of this strategy is expected to be adopted by other educational institutions as a model to improve children's overall welfare and development. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan sosial dan emosional anak-anak di Yayasan Paguyuban Cikahuripan Nusantara melalui penerapan berbagai strategi pendidikan yang inovatif dan partisipatif. Program ini mencakup serangkaian kegiatan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, empati, pengelolaan emosi, dan kerjasama di kalangan anak-anak. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam program ini melibatkan pendekatan partisipatif yang mengikutsertakan anak-anak, guru, dan orang tua dalam berbagai aktivitas, termasuk permainan peran, diskusi kelompok, dan proyek kolaboratif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara rutin dengan pengawasan dan evaluasi berkala untuk mengukur perkembangan anak-anak. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang holistik dan inklusif dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan sosial dan emosional anak-anak. Anak-anak yang terlibat dalam program ini menunjukkan peningkatan dalam berkomunikasi secara efektif, menunjukkan empati terhadap orang lain, mengelola emosi dengan lebih baik, dan bekerja sama dalam tim. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa strategi pengembangan yang melibatkan pendekatan kolaboratif dan dukungan aktif dari keluarga serta komunitas dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak-anak. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas interaksi sosial anak-anak tetapi juga memperkuat ikatan antara anak, keluarga, dan komunitas. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh lembaga pendidikan lainnya sebagai model untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan perkembangan anak secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to form the personality of students into fully human beings so that they are useful to society and the country. The importance of character education requires philosophy, planning, and strategies to achieve the desired goals in the development of character education. The focus of character education is based on the theories and thoughts of Thomas Licona to shape the personality of students in Barengkok tutoring, Tenjo village, Bogor district. Based on Licona's theory, we can see that the development of measurable and coherent character education is the existence of real behavior in the form of honesty, responsibility, and courtesy. The terminology of character education introduced by Thomas Licona in the 1900s narrowed down to three main elements, namely knowing the good (knowing goodness), desiring the good (loving the truth) and doing the good (doing good). With this research, it is hoped that educators will understand aspects of education at the level of doing, not only on aspects of knowing and loving. This study uses a qualitative observation research method which explains the phenomena that exist in Barengkok tutoring. The phenomenon that occurs in Barengkok tutoring is not only limited to cognitive learning to students but gives students the opportunity to experience character building directly both in class and learning. The role of educators is to be able to integrate learning in tutoring in various subjects with character education as the entrance to the formation of children's character. Based on these three Licona theories, it is hoped that the development of character education in tutoring can be maximally applied to students. The author will examine through research from library sources and the theory of character education from Thomas Licona.  AbstrakPendidikan karakter merupakan upaya untuk pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik menjadi manusia yang seutuhmya sehingga berguna bagi masyarakat dan negara. Pentingnya Pendidikan karakter ini memerlukan filosofi, perencanaan, strategi untuk mencapai tujuan yang dikehendaki dalam pengembangan Pendidikan karakter. Fokus pendidikan karakter ini diambil berdasarkan teori dan pemikiran Thomas Licona dalam upaya membentuk kepribadian peserta didik di bimbingan belajar Barengkok, desa Tenjo kabupaten Bogor. Berdasarkan teori Licona maka kita dapat melihat pengembangan pendidikan karakter yang terukur dan koheren adalah adanya perilaku yang nyata berupa kejujuran, tanggung jawab, sopan santun. Terminologi pendidikan karakter yang dikenalkan Thomas Licona di era 1900-an sesungguhnya mengerucut pada tiga unsur utama, yaitu knowing the good (mengetahui kebaikan), desiring the good (mencintai kebenaran) dan doing the good (melakukan kebaikan). Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan para pendidik memahami aspek pendidikan pada level melakukan, bukan hanya pada aspek mengetahui dan mencintai. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif observasi yang mana menjeleskan fenomena yang ada di dalam bimbingan belajar Barengkok. Fenomena yang terjadi dalam bimbingan belajar Barengkok tidak hanya sebatas dalam pembelajaran secara kognitif kepada peserta didik melainkan memberikan kepada peserta didik untuk dapat mengalami pembentukan karakter secara langsung baik di dalam kelas dan pembelajaran. Peran dari pendidik untuk dapat mengintegrasikan pembelajaran pada bimbingan belajar dalam berbagai mata pembelajran dengan pendidikan karakter menjadi pintu masuk dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Didasarkan tiga teori Licona ini, diharapkan pengembangan Pendidikan karakter di bimbingan belajar dapat maksimal diterapkan pada peserta didik. Penulis akan mengkaji melalui riset dari sumber kepustakaan dan teori pendidikan karakter dari Thomas Licona.

Abstract

Character education is a major aspect in the learning process, even in all human existence. Generally, superior character will support success so that character becomes the key word in life. That is the main role of character so that the national education goal makes this aspect the main goal in addition to the cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of religious literature, especially poetry, in growing christian characters. It is realized that literary works have a function in building human life, especially in the aspect of character. The integrated education model contains aspects of character in each field of study or subject. Through subjects or courses, character education is realized. One of the fields of science that includes character education is literature, especially religious literature. Religious literature contains dimensions of life values that can foster character education. This scientific article was developed by exploring the literature as study data. Therefore, this paper is qualitative research. This research is expected to contribute to educational efforts in general in developing Christian character education, particularly through religious literature. By having superior character, students will have integrity, morality, character, and actions that are in harmony with the norms prevailing in society and religious values.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek utama dalam proses pembelajaran, bahkan dalam seluruh kehidupan manusia. Karakter yang unggul akan menunjang kesuksesan secara keseluruhan sehingga karakter menjadi kata kunci dalam kehidupan. Itulah peran utama karakter sehingga tujuan pendidikan nasional menjadikan aspek ini sebagai tujuan utama selain aspek kognitif dan psikomotorik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran sastra religius, khususnya puisi, dalam menumbuhkan karakter kristiani. Disadari bahwa karya sastra memiliki fungsi dalam membangun kehidupan manusia, khususnya dalam aspek karakter. Model pendidikan terpadu memuat aspek karakter dalam setiap bidang studi atau mata pelajaran. Melalui mata pelajaran atau mata kuliah, pendidikan karakter direalisasikan. Salah satu bidang ilmu yang memuat pendidikan karakter adalah sastra, khususnya sastra agama. Sastra religius mengandung dimensi nilai-nilai kehidupan yang dapat menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter. Artikel ilmiah ini dikembangkan dengan melakukan eksplorasi terhadap karya sastra sebagai data kajian. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi upaya pendidikan pada umumnya dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter Kristen, khususnya melalui sastra religius. Dengan memiliki karakter yang unggul, peserta didik akan memiliki integritas, moralitas, budi pekerti, dan tindakan yang selaras dengan norma-norma yang berlaku di masyarakat dan nilai-nilai agama.

Abstract

The realization of character education is a shared responsibility of both parents and educational institutions. Higher education as an integral educational facility has a responsibility to develop aspects of character. This is because character is an important domain in forming a student's personality as a whole. In this way, students can grow cognitively, affectively and psychometrically. The Faculty of Education, Pelita Harapan University has a profile of students who are competent, have character, have a calling as Christian teachers (Calling), and have compassion (compassion). To realize this profile, it must be supported by the professionalism of lecturers with the characteristics of having a loving spirit like the good Samaritan and a spirit of self-emptying of Christ in serving. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between lecturer professionalism and student Christian character. The results of this research will provide an overview, evaluation, and input to build Christian character in a sustainable manner. The method used in this research is a correlative quantitative method. The research results show that lecturer professionalism is significantly related to students' Christian character. The research results show that there is a correlation between lecturer professionalism and student Christian character of .537. Thus, it can be concluded that the correlation between lecturer professionalism and student Christian character is in the strong category. The test results show the significance value (p = .000) is smaller than 0.05. This means that there is not enough evidence to accept the proposed hypothesis (reject Ho). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between lecturer professionalism and student Christian character.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Perwujudan pendidikan karakter merupakan tanggung jawab bersama antara orang tua dan institusi pendidikan. Perguruan tinggi sebagai salah satu sarana pendidikan yang tidak terpisahkan memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengembangkan aspek karakter. Hal ini dikarenakan karakter merupakan domain penting dalam membentuk kepribadian mahasiswa secara utuh. Dengan demikian, mahasiswa dapat berkembang secara kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pelita Harapan memiliki profil mahasiswa yang kompeten, berkarakter, memiliki panggilan sebagai guru Kristen (Calling), dan memiliki belas kasih (compassion). Untuk mewujudkan profil tersebut, harus didukung oleh profesionalisme dosen dengan ciri-ciri memiliki semangat mengasihi seperti orang Samaria yang baik hati dan semangat mengosongkan diri seperti Kristus dalam melayani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara profesionalisme dosen dengan karakter kristiani mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran, evaluasi dan masukan untuk membangun karakter kristiani secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme dosen berhubungan secara signifikan dengan karakter kristiani mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara profesionalisme dosen dengan karakter kristiani mahasiswa sebesar 0,537. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa korelasi antara profesionalisme dosen dengan karakter Kristen mahasiswa berada pada kategori kuat Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p=.000) lebih kecil dari 0.05. Hal ini berarti tidak terdapat cukup bukti untuk menerima hipotesis yang diajukan (tolak Ho). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara profesionalisme dosen dengan karakter kristiani mahasiswa.

Abstract

Political identity in Indonesia has become an increasingly important issue in recent years. Ethnic, religious, and regional identities are often important factors in influencing people's political preferences. However, the impact of this political identity on Indonesia's democratic and religious system is debatable. The impact of political identity in Indonesia's democratic and religious system remains a complex and ever-changing issue. While some negative effects need to be addressed, political identity can also strengthen society and political participation. Therefore, continuous efforts are required to enhance the democratic and religious system in Indonesia and overcome conflicts arising from political identity.  The purpose of this study is to clarify and analyze the impact of political identity on the democratic and religious system in Indonesia. This study aims to provide a better understanding of issues related to political identity and how these issues affect the political system and Indonesian society as a whole. Thus, this research is expected to contribute to the development of thoughts and policies related to the democratic and religious system in Indonesia.

Abstract

According to the view that is relatively common in the wider Christian culture, heaven and hell basically deserve compensation for the kind of earthly life we lead. Good people go to heaven as a worthy reward for a virtuous life, and bad people go to hell as a just punishment for an immoral life; in that way, the scale of justice is sometimes considered balanced. But almost all Christian theologians regard such a view, however commonly it may be in popular culture, as too simplistic and unsampled; the biblical perspective, as they see it, is much more subtle than that. It is important to acknowledge the polemical and apologetic setting of its development. Judaism underwent modifications to protect the Jewish faith and chastise apostates in the face of invading Hellenism. For the early Christ-movement, continued growth was necessary to defend itself against both internal defection and first-century Judaism and Greco-Roman paganism. The early church fathers believed that using the dread of damnation to uphold moral standards was ideologically motivated. As a result, the evolution of the afterlife may be viewed as a social construct, the effects of which in the contemporary day have had a permanent, harmful influence on many individuals.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere, and even a learning process, so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills. Christian Religious Education to educate him. Student assistance is something that already has good personal quality standards, responsibility, independence and even discipline. So don't be surprised a student mentoring must also be able to provide and instill it all, so that it can motivate students personally, even equip students through various needs, and grow in Jesus Christ. Assistance to PAK teachers must also be able to become creative coordinators in increasing the motivation of students in each lesson, because most of it is in the surrounding environment such as schools and homes, it can affect students to become lazy in learning, so they cannot be motivated in participating in learning. The main objective of this research is to assist students in Christian Religious Education to increase their motivation to study at Benih Pengharapan Elementary School, Lembang, West Java. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar, dan bahkan proses pembelajaran, agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, dan keterampilan, maka dari sini perlulah pendampingan pada pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk mendidiknya. Pendampingan peserta didik menjadi suatu hal yang sudah memiliki standar kualitas pribadi yang baik, tanggung jawab, mandiri dan bahkan disiplin. Maka jangan heran seorang pendampingan peserta didik juga harus bisa memberikan dan menanamkan itu semua, agar bisa memotivasikan peserta didik dalam pribadinya, bahkan memperlengkapi peserta didik melalui berbagai kebutuhan, dan bertumbuh di dalam Yesus Kristus. Pendampingan kepada Guru PAK juga harus bisa menjadi koordinator yang kreatif dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik setiap pembelajaran, sebab karena sebagian besar di lingkungan sekitarnya seperti sekolah, dan rumah, bisa mempengaruhi peserta didik menjadi malas belajar, sehingga tidak bisa motivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pendampingan peserta didik dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar di Sekolah Dasar Benih Pengharapan, Lembang, Jawa Barat.

Abstract

This study explores the theme of discrimination based on ethnicity and religion as reflected in Matthew 15:21-28, particularly in the Indonesian context. The background to the problem lies in the persistent social issues surrounding discrimination in various forms, which can be seen as a reflection of deeper cultural and theological gaps. The purpose of this study is to analyze the text of Matthew 15: 21-28 in relation to contemporary discrimination issues and to obtain messages that can contribute to the promotion of inclusiveness and understanding in Indonesian society. This study uses the method of textual analysis of the scriptures along with socio-cultural examination of the current landscape in Indonesia. Through this approach, the study identifies key themes and insights in biblical narratives that resonate with the modern experience of marginalized groups. The results show that the section challenges prevailing attitudes towards discrimination and calls for a reevaluation of social norms. It highlights the importance of compassion and the recognition of shared humanity, offering a theological foundation for overcoming discrimination.
