Abstract

This study examines the strengthening of non-formal education through study groups in Pagar Merbau I Village. The results of the study show that learning groups have a significant role in increasing access to education for the community, especially in remote areas. Through the programs held, the study group succeeded in increasing skills, knowledge, and educational awareness among villagers. In addition, the study group is also able to encourage active participation of the community in the educational process, both as participants and organizers of activities. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between the government, the community, and other related parties in strengthening non-formal education as an effort to equalize access to education in rural areas. This study recommends the development of sustainable strategies to support the sustainability of study groups in order to realize a more educated, independent, and competitive society

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the strategies that are used by the international accounting students at universitas Tanjungpura and to explain the most dominant learning speaking strategies used by international accounting students in learning speaking. The total numbers of participants in this research are 34 students. This research used a descriptive quantitative design, and the data were collected from questionnaires. The findings of this study revealed that international accounting students in the universitas Tanjungpura class used nearly all of the strategies for learning English. The highest average was Metacognitive strategy, with 52,0% total average. The second strategy is Cognitive strategies with the average 44,1%; the third strategy was effective strategy with the average 38,3%, the fourth strategy was the social strategy with the average 38,2%, fifth strategy was compensation with the average 33,8%, and the last strategy was memory strategy with average 11,0%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence on product quality and service quality on purchasing decisions at the Yapia Parung Vocational School Business Center in Bogor Regency, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study were teachers, staff and also students of Yapia Parung Vocational School in Bogor Regency, totaling 1,060 students in 2021. The method used is an associative quantitative research method. Determining the number of samples used was using a probability sampling technique using the Slovin 5% formula, namely 92 people. There are several analytical methods used in this research, namely descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, statistical test, correlation coefficient test, and hypothesis test with the help of SPSS 25 software. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that product quality had a significant effect. on purchasing decisions at the Yapia Parung Vocational School Bussines Center in Bogor Regency with a value of tcount>ttable or (14.620>1.987) with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that partially product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Businesses Yapia Parung Vocational School Center in Bogor Regency. Based on the results of the service quality hypothesis test on purchasing decisions tcount > ttable or (17.657 > 1.987) with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, it can be concluded that partially service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the value Fcount>Ftable or (169.554 > 4.504) was obtained with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, so it can be concluded that simultaneously product quality and service quality together have a significant influence on purchasing decisions at the Business Center. Abstract

Urban heritage tourism increasingly contributes to cultural preservation and sustainable urban development, yet destinations in dense metropolitan settings often face acute pressure from rising visitation. This study evaluates the tourism carrying capacity of Glodok Chinatown, Jakarta’s oldest Chinese heritage district, by assessing its physical, socio-cultural, economic, environmental, and managerial components. Using a qualitative exploratory approach supported by field observations, regulatory review, and interviews with local residents, business actors, heritage experts, and government officials, the study provides a multidimensional analysis of capacity constraints. Results indicate considerable disparities between potential and reality. While the area’s Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC) and Real Carrying Capacity (RCC) remain structurally limited by narrow streets, mixed-use density, and constrained public spaces, the Effective Carrying Capacity (ECC) is found to be only 104 visitors per day. In contrast, actual visitation reaches 1,000–1,500 tourists on regular days, with spikes of over 5,000 visitors during major cultural festivals. This excess contributes to congestion, increased waste accumulation, deterioration of heritage structures, reduced walkability, and commercialization of cultural practices. Socio-economically, tourism benefits remain unevenly distributed, with small local MSMEs facing competition from larger commercial actors. Managerially, fragmented governance, sectoral decision-making, and the absence of an integrated heritage management entity hinder sustainable development efforts. The findings underscore the need for capacity-based planning through zoning, visitor flow redistribution, improved interpretation systems, and strengthened community participation to ensure Glodok’s cultural authenticity and long-term resilience.

Abstract

Pembentukan undang-undang merupakan rangkaian kegiatan ilmiah dan tindakan politik yang menuntut kemampuan analitis, kecakapan teknis, serta pemahaman terhadap asas dan teori pembentukan peraturan. Realitas kelembagaan di DPRD Sumatera Barat menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan besar antara tuntutan normatif tersebut dan kapasitas legislator yang menjalankannya. Dominasi tim ahli dalam perancangan peraturan muncul akibat rendahnya kemampuan legislator dalam memahami kerangka teori, teknik penyusunan norma hukum, identifikasi masalah, serta metodologi penyusunan naskah akademik. Sebagian besar anggota DPRD tidak memiliki kemampuan teknis dalam legal drafting dan hanya terlibat pada tahap pembahasan akhir, sementara penyusunan substansi dilakukan oleh tenaga ahli dari luar lembaga. Latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak merata semakin memperkuat ketergantungan terhadap akademisi, konsultan, dan staf ahli. Kondisi ini menyebabkan proses legislasi bergeser dari wakil rakyat kepada tenaga teknokrat, kualitas regulasi tidak sepenuhnya mencerminkan aspirasi masyarakat, dan akuntabilitas politik menjadi lemah. Ketidaksiapan DPRD Sumatera Barat dalam merancang undang-undang merupakan persoalan struktural yang berpengaruh terhadap legitimasi demokrasi, efektivitas regulasi, serta kualitas kinerja lembaga perwakilan rakyat.

Abstract

Taxpayer compliance is a procedural and administrative compliance and conscious action that is necessary to fulfill taxpayer obligations based on applicable tax rules. Taxes are mandatory contributions to the State that are owed, both by individuals and entities that are coercive based on tax laws. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive businesses owned by individuals and business entities that have met the criteria as micro businesses. This study aims to analyze the level of compliance of MSME taxpayers in fulfilling taxation, obstacles and efforts made by KPP Pratama Bekasi Barat in 2022. The research method used by the author is qualitative descriptive. The data collection process is carried out through observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the study show that the MSME Compliance Level is still not optimal due to several things, namely; lack of awareness of MSME taxpayers, lack of knowledge of MSME taxpayers, uneven socialization and education, and limited facilities. The efforts made are to carry out socialization, education, and tax classes to taxpayers. Keywords Compliance, UMKM

Abstract

Currently, in developing countries, MSMEs have a big contribution to grow the community's economy, including Indonesia. MSMEs hold an essential position in economic progress. There are still very few researchers who examine the BI Rate, Inflation, and the Rupiah Exchange Rate on MSME credit financing. So, researchers are interested in taking this title. This study is an explanatory research which aims to describe the causal correlation between variables through hypotheses and is carried out through descriptive analysis. The population in this study is all MSMEs in Indonesia that receive credit financing. The data taken is the period 2011-2019. Population data collection techniques are carried out using a time series approach using an annual scale. The result is that the BI Rate, Inflation and the Rupiah Exchange rate partially have no effect and are not significant on MSME credit financing. Meanwhile, the BI Rate, Inflation, and the Rupiah Exchange simultaneously have a significant effect on MSME credit financing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of work discipline and organisational commitment on the marketing team's productivity. The approach used is quantitative with an associative method, and data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression. Data were collected via questionnaires with Likert-scale items and analysed using the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the marketing team's productivity. Similarly, organisational commitment also has a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, both variables are proven to have a significant effect on team productivity. In addition, organisational commitment has a more dominant influence compared to work discipline. The coefficient of determination value of 0.523 indicates that 52.3% of the variation in productivity can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining is influenced by other factors outside the study. Therefore, improving work discipline and organisational commitment is an important factor in enhancing the productivity of the marketing team.

Abstract

School libraries play an important role in supporting learning activities and improving students’ literacy. However, library management in many junior high schools is still carried out manually, causing various problems such as difficulties in searching book data, high risk of recording errors in borrowing and returning transactions, and delays in report generation. This study aims to design and implement a web-based library system to improve the efficiency of library management at SMP Negeri 18 Medan. The research method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, which consists of problem identification, data collection, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results show that the developed web-based library system is able to manage book collections, member data, and borrowing and returning transactions in an integrated and accurate manner. In addition, the system facilitates report generation and improves access to library information for students and teachers. Therefore, the proposed system is considered an effective solution for enhancing the quality of school library services and supporting the utilization of information technology in the educational sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kehumasan dalam membangun kepercayaan publik melalui pemanfaatan media sosial di lingkungan pendidikan. Di era digital, media sosial seperti Instagram dan Facebook menjadi sarana komunikasi yang efektif antara institusi pendidikan dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kehumasan yang efektif meliputi penyampaian informasi yang transparan, konsistensi dalam publikasi konten, serta interaksi aktif dengan audiens. Kepercayaan publik dapat dibangun melalui komunikasi dua arah yang responsif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan informasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan dalam mengoptimalkan fungsi kehumasan berbasis media sosial.
