Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the madrasa curriculum in building human resources (HR) with character, to prepare the Golden Generation in 2045. Using the literature study method, this research examines various relevant sources, including reputable journals, books, and education policy documents. The findings reveal: (1) the madrasa curriculum shapes character and competence through intracurricular and extracurricular activities, Pancasila student profiles, local content, and project-based learning; (2) challenges in developing the curriculum include internal issues such as suboptimal implementation of eight standards, limited HR in Islamic educational institutions, and the impact of technological changes on character education, leading to moral degradation, and external challenges such as future demands, societal views, and technological advancements; (3) effective strategies for implementing a character-building curriculum involve creating a competitive approach that integrates general and Islamic education, and developing religious education strategies both inside and outside the madrasah.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze Islamic education values at the 2022 FIFA event Qatar. The Commercial image that has been attached, directly broken by the existence of Islamic Educational values embedded in every moment. Through a descriptive qualitative approach and supported by various related references source, this study shows that there are three values of Islamic Education in the implementation of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. The first is the moral education value, contained in the practice of prohibiting the sale of Beer and actions with LGBTQ nuances, the second is aqidah education value, contained in the practice of carrying out the opening ceremony of the holy verses of the al-Quran at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as well as the installation of hadith murals along the streets of Doha in Qatar, and the third is social education value, contained in the practice of facilitating Barcode introduction of Islam in various hotels in Qatar. These values indirectly contribute in giving positive vibes and are able to create special effect that Islam is ‘rahmatan lil alamin’ for visitors, both spectators and supporters of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam pada ajang Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 Qatar. Label komersial yang selama ini melekat seketika terpatahkan dengan adanya nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang disisipkan dalam setiap kegiatan yang ada. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan didukung oleh berbagai sumber referensi yang yang terkait, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga nilai pendidikan Islam yang ada dalam pelaksanaan ajang Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 Qatar. Pertama adalah nilai pendidikan akhlak, terdapat dalam praktik pelarangan terhadap penjualan Bir dan tindakan bernuansa LGBTQ; kedua adalah nilai pendidikan Aqidah, terdapat dalam praktik pelaksanaan upacara pembukaan ayat suci al-Quran dalam ajang Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 serta pemasangan mural hadis di sepanjang jalan Doha di Qatar, serta ketiga adalah nilai pendidikan sosial, terdapat dalam pengenalan fasilitas Barcode pengenalan Islam di berbagai Hotel di Qatar. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam ini secara tidak langsung turut memberikan lingkungan yang positif secara maksimal serta mampu memunculkan citra Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamin bagi para pengunjung, dan suporter Piala Dunia FIFA 2022 Qatar.

Abstract

The Poda Na Lima philosophy, which aims to develop the study of Islamic education, needs to be maintained and preserved; therefore, the authors conducted this research using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Observation data, interviews and documentation are data collection techniques, while informants as subjects of this research were 15 people from Mandailing Natal. Traditional figures, religious figures, community leaders, members, and documents related to history, culture, customs, and community life, such as books, articles, journals, reports, and mass media are sources of research data. Data analysis is used through presentation, reduction and conclusion. The research results show that Poda Na Lima has been developing an educational curriculum based on local content. The obstacle was that it had not been implemented optimally as part of developing the local content education curriculum there. It is due to a lack of coordination, socialization synergy, local government education, budget allocation, and human resource development for the community, especially the younger generation, regarding the importance of maintaining and preserving the philosophy. The authors concluded that with the development of local content educational curricula and local knowledge in the community, the local government needs to take policies to maintain and preserve the Poda Na Lima philosophy in Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in building students' moral resilience at SMK Swasta Tunas Pelita Kota Binjai in the era of globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and interactive analysis, this research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The research findings show that curriculum integration planning and teacher training contribute positively to students' moral resilience. Effective PAI implementation is done through methods such as discovery learning, group discussions, and extracurricular activities, with teachers acting as facilitators and motivators. Contextual strategies, review of religious texts, and integration with other sciences also strengthen the implementation of religious values in students' lives. Support from the principal and PAI teachers through evolutionary and revolutionary approaches also play an important role in achieving learning objectives. This study highlights the importance of active learning strategies, curriculum integration, and school environment support to shape students' moral resilience, providing practical implications for PAI curriculum development in the era of globalization.

Abstract

T This article analyzes the nature of learners in Islamic education philosophy that can be implemented holistically in modern education. This research aims to explore the concept of learners in the perspective of Islamic education philosophy, the challenges of its application in the modern curriculum, and the influence of this philosophy on the character building of learners in the era of globalization. The method used in this article is the systematic literature review (SLR) method by collecting data from books, journals, and scientific articles published between 2016 and 2023 through the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish platforms to ensure the validity and relevance of the sources. Furthermore, the results of the discussion in this study show that (1) the concept of learners in Islamic education philosophy emphasizes the development of intellectual, moral, and spiritual potential in a balanced manner, which aims to create individuals with intellectual intelligence, praiseworthy morals, and spiritual awareness; (2) the main challenge in the modern curriculum is the lack of integration of Islamic values, which hinders the character building of learners in the midst of a moral crisis; (3) Islamic education philosophy is important to shape the character of learners to be able to face globalization without losing Islamic identity. Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of the Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT) of Medan City in enhancing the religious understanding of the community. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews and participatory observation with the management and members of BKMT in Medan City. The research findings indicate that BKMT serves as a center for religious development by designing various educational programs that guide the implementation of religious outreach in the community. Additionally, BKMT provides guidance and socialization to the management of BKMT at the sub-district level throughout Medan City and fosters close cooperation with its members and other partner organizations.

Abstract

This journal discusses the role of the Ulul Albab Taklim Council at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) as a means of fostering religious knowledge and spiritual guidance for students. Through a routine study program held three times a week, this assembly discusses various religious topics such as fiqh, akhlaq, Sufism, and tafsir, which aims to increase the spiritual intelligence of participants. In addition, collaboration with various campus organizations such as IMM, HMI, and KAHMI is a strategy to expand the reach of da'wah and increase organizational productivity. The implementation of good management functions, including planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling (POAC), is expected to achieve effective da'wah goals and be well received by the audience. This study uses a qualitative case study method, with data collection through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, to understand the dynamics of the management of the taklim council and the challenges faced. The results of the study show that the Ulul Albab Taklim Council has great potential in shaping students' character and religious understanding, as well as making a positive contribution to the academic environment at UINSU.

Abstract

Abtrak: Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran ulama dalam menghadapi penyebaran hoax yang semakin meresahkan masyarakat. Di era digital saat ini, hoax telah menjadi ancaman serius bagi stabilitas sosial dan keamanan negara. Ulama sebagai pemimpin spiritual dan moral memiliki tanggung jawab penting dalam membimbing umat agar tidak terpengaruh oleh informasi yang menyesatkan. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, di mana penulis menganalisis berbagai sumber yang relevan seperti kitab-kitab klasik, fatwa ulama, serta artikel ilmiah dan berita terkait hoax. Penulis juga melakukan wawancara dengan beberapa ulama untuk mendapatkan perspektif langsung mengenai bagaimana mereka melihat peran mereka dalam menangkal hoax di masyarakat. Hasil penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa ulama memiliki peran strategis dalam menyelamatkan umat dan negeri dari bahaya hoax. Dengan pendekatan yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai agama, ulama dapat memberikan pencerahan dan pendidikan kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya verifikasi informasi sebelum menyebarkannya. Selain itu, ulama juga diharapkan dapat menjadi teladan dalam menyikapi informasi, serta mengedukasi umat untuk lebih kritis dan bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial.berpartisipasi sebagai warga negara yang bertanggung jawab dalam masyarakat yang plural.Kata Kunci : Jihad, Ulama, Hoax.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pembinaan pada masyarakat Desa Gantang Sembahe, Kec. Sibolangit,Kab.Deli Serdang Prov.Sumatera Utara , kegiatan PKM dilakukan secara sosialisasi dan edukasi dengan masyarakat bagaimana pentingnya bergotong royong dan bekerjasama serta saling membantu dalam mencapai tujuan. Gotong royong merupakan nilai budaya yang telah menjadi ciri khas masyarakat Indonesia sejak lama. Nilai ini mencerminkan kebersamaan, solidaritas, dan rasa tanggung jawab kolektif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Maka dari itu sikap gotong royong ini patut diajarkan sedari dini dan dalam lingkup yang kecil yaitu keluarga. Nantinya, pola pikir seseorang akan teratur untuk memiliki sikap kerja sama. Gotong royong ini pun memberikan dampak positif dan bermanfaat bagi semua warga masyarakat ke depannya. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelibatan masyarakat secara aktif dalam kegiatan berbasis nilai lokal, integrasi nilai gotong royong dalam sistem pendidikan formal dan nonformal, serta penggunaan media sosial sebagai alat penggerak komunitas memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi kolektif masyarakat dalam kegiatan gotong royong.

Abstract

The integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values in Islamic education is a strategic step to form a generation that is responsive to global challenges. This study aims to analyze the relevance of ESG values in Islamic education, identify implementation challenges, and formulate strategies to integrate these values into teaching materials. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review. The results of the study show that ESG is relevant to maqashid sharia principles that include environmental sustainability, social justice, and ethical governance. However, the main challenges include educators' lack of understanding, limited resources, cultural resistance, and inadequate pedagogical approaches. Suggested strategies include developing a maqashid sharia-based curriculum, intensive training for educators, project-based learning approaches, and collaboration with international organizations to support ESG implementation. With this approach, Islamic education can be a means to form a generation that is religious, socially responsible, and aware of environmental sustainability, making a real contribution in facing global challenges.
