Abstract

This community service activity is carried out with the aim of increasing knowledge through the concept of geometry, namely to increase knowledge about flat shapes and spaces that change every time. The subject of community service is 30 students at SDN Jakarta. The activity begins with preparations in the form of socialization at the location where the activity will be carried out to provide an explanation of the activities to be carried out. At the activity implementation stage, students were gathered in a room to listen to material presentation on geometric concepts. Then the implementation team conducted counseling and demonstrations on arithmetic material. The instructor conducts an evaluation in the form of questions and answers to the participants during the extension. Based on the evaluation of the activity, there has been an increase in knowledge about geometry material, students after counseling and demonstrations on how to solve geometry material problems correctly. Students who have knowledge of geometric concepts increased from those who were initially able to answer 5 questions out of 15 questions to 10 questions out of 15 questions with an increase in answering questions above 60%. Furthermore, we, as the implementing team, suggest that counseling be carried out routinely to different targets, namely students who have not received counseling, as well as the same target for refreshment and re-evaluation. Counseling or training also needs to be carried out with the target teacher, so that trained teachers can convey it back to their students.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, permasalahan yang dihadapi warga Kepulauan Seribu adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menerapkan budaya hidup sehat di masa pandemi Covid-19 mengingat Kepulauan Seribu adalah lokasi wisata yang pada masa pandemi tetap menarik wisatawan. Temuan tersebut didapatkan berdasarkan informasi dari pemerintah setempat dan berita media massa. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan budaya hidup sehat dimasa pandemi Covid-19 serta mengimplementasikan kualitas gerak warga Kepulauan Seribu melalui senam kebugaran. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi budaya hidup sehat dan senam kebugaran di Pulau Pramuka dan Pulau Tidung, Kepulauan Seribu pada 5 Agustus 2020, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat sangat antusias dan bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan keseriusan dalam proses sosialisasi maupun senam bersama dengan tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap kegiatan sebesar 91%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi penggunaan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan teknik dasar permainan bola basket pada anak sekolah dasar. Permasalahan yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah tantangan dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran olahraga yang menarik dan efektif bagi anak-anak pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Di tengah dinamika perkembangan teknologi, VR menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan anak-anak dalam pembelajaran olahraga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan fokus pada pemilihan sumber literatur terkini yang membahas penggunaan VR dalam konteks pendidikan olahraga anak-anak. Analisis kritis terhadap literatur melibatkan evaluasi kehandalan, metodologi, dan temuan utama dari berbagai penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan VR dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan teknik dasar bola basket pada anak sekolah dasar melalui simulasi interaktif. Diharapkan hasil ini bisa dijadikan sebagai dasar dalam proses pembelajaran kedepannya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan teknik dasar permainan bola basket, khususnya pada anak sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variable ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada masa pandemic di SDN Duri Kepa 05. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan random sampling. dengan ukuran sampel 30 orang murid. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menggunakan uji parsial (t), dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Ektrakurikuler Kepramukaan diuji secara parsial terhadap motivasi belajar menghasilkan t_(hitung )= 2,671 > t_(tabel ) = 2,048 dengan signifikan 0,000 < 0,005. Hasil ini menunjukan H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 42,6% menunjukan bahwa ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan memberikan kontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar tinggi dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 43% sisanya 57% dipengaruhi oleh factor lainnya. Berdasarkan data tersebut, berarti terdapat hubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan variable ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dengan variabel motivasi belajar

Abstract

The problems that occur are related to the learning motivation of students at SDN Pluit 03 North Jakarta class IV, how are the teacher's efforts to increase student learning motivation in class, starting from the beginning of teaching to the end if the teacher explains and if there are students who don't listen or pay attention to the teacher will ask what earlier the teacher was explaining, if they don't know the teacher will advise them and provide motivation to students who have not paid attention and the teacher also uses interesting learning methods so that students are not bored and bored, students must have motivation, someone will get the desired results in learn if He has the will to learn. Motivation can act as a motivation to achieve good results. Someone will do an activity because they have motivation from within which is usually called intrinsic motivation. having high learning motivation will achieve the best results. the results of this study find out how the efforts made by the teacher to increase student learning motivation. The analysis obtained shows that as many as 28 students, of which 2 lack motivation to learn and also still like to joke in class and pay little attention to the teacher.

Abstract

The essence of independent learning is the readiness and courage of teachers and students in the learning process. The aim of this research is to determine empirically the results of implementing the independent learning curriculum in PJOK learning in an integrated Islamic basic education unit in the city of Depok, West Java. The research method used was a qualitative approach through interviews, FGDs and questionnaires for 6 months (May-October 2023). The research results found: 44% of respondents were not ready to understand the independent curriculum yet, 46.9% of respondents were not ready for the independent curriculum in PJOK subjects, 47% were ready to implement the independent PJOK curriculum, 78% had implemented the independent PJOK curriculum. Thus, it was concluded that the readiness and implementation of the independent PJOK curriculum had been carried out well by the PJOK teachers at SDIT Depok City so that learning could proceed with the expectations and goals that had been set. The implication of this research is that the success of PJOK learning is supported by the teacher's readiness and understanding of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a problem-based learning model that uses intelligence so that it is able to deal with anything new and complex. Problem Based Learning is a model that aims to instill and develop the learning process in teachers. The purpose of this community service activity is to empower teacher skills through Problem Based Learning is to increase knowledge which changes every time. The subject of this community service is all teachers at SDN Kenari 07 Pagi. Based on the results of observations at Kenari 07 Pagi Elementary School, the teacher's learning process still uses conventional or teacher-centered teaching as a provider of information, with the empowerment of teacher skills it is hoped that it will improve the good character of students from each concept of working on problems in the form of application questions. Based on this, recommendations for solutions to problems need to be carried out through mentoring activities and empowering teacher skills through Problem Based Learning in Improving Student Character Education. Mastery of Teacher skills through Problem Based Learning both when learning is done at school or studying at home (online). The methods used are socialization, self-reflection and program mapping, measurement and evaluation

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the direct instruction learning (DI) model on the acquisition of fundamental badminton skills in a secondary education context. Specifically, it seeks to determine whether DI enhances students' understanding and proficiency in badminton techniques at the secondary education level. This study aimed to ascertain the impact of the direct instruction (DI) learning model on the acquisition of basic badminton skills among students in class XI IPA 3 at SMAN 6 Jakarta. The research method employed was that of an experiment with a pretest-posttest design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 33 individuals included. Data collection techniques employed observation of non-badminton basic skills, with an increase based on pretest and posttest data of 46.24%. Parametric analysis was conducted, which demonstrated a significant value of 0.000 in the sign test for the research instrument's basic skills test grids. The data analysis utilized an alpha level of 0.05, indicating that the DI learning model affects learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Indonesian sports industry is required by law to contribute to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) by becoming an upstream-to-downstream industry, which refers to the total value added to sports products annually and is a component of GDP. The objectives of this study were to find the factors that become barriers to entry (and also exit) from the sports industry. The study used a qualitative method. Using the purposive method, the data were collected from 10 people including the village head, entrepreneurs, and Cisaat Village Community through FGD’s (Forum Group Disscussion) and semi-structured interviews were gathered. To analyze the data using thematic analysis. Cisaat Village was chosen as an analysis material to find barriers to entry factors, especially for sport tourism. The findings of this study are that the capital factor, the lack of knowledge and experience, human resources, are the most barrier to entry in sport tourism industry. As implications of future research, researchers can use these factors to identify how they affect sports entrepreneurs in their countries. By addressing these barriers, the sports industry can thrive and make a substantial contribution to national economic development.
