Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari korelasi antara sastra modern dan sastra klasik, dengan fokus pembahasan bagaimana karya sastra modern, memodifikasi, atau mendekonstruksi unsur-unsur dalam sastra klasik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan sastra modern tidak sepenuhnya terlepas dari pengaruh sastra klasik, melalui pendekatan analisis intertekstualitas. Dari pendekatan tersebut dapat dilihat bagaimana perkembangan sastra membangun hubungan dialektis yang mencerminkan perkembangan budaya dan estetika. Studi ini mentitik fokuskan pada tema, gaya bahasa, dan struktur naratif dari sastra klasik tetap relevan dalam konteks modern, sering kali diadaptasi untuk merespons isu-isu kontemporer seperti globalisasi, identitas, dan teknologi. Penelitian ini juga membahas pentingnya memahami sastra klasik sebagai basis estetis dan historia yang memperkaya penciptaan sastra modern. Penemuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam kajian sastra Indonesia, khususnya dalam memahami kesinambungan dan perubahan dalam karya sastra dari masa ke masa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) tema teks syair Kumbang Mengindera; 2) tema teks syair Perahu; 3) ekspansi tema teks syair Kumbang Mengindera pada teks syair Perahu; 4) amanat teks syair Kumbang Mengindera; 5) amanat teks syair Perahu; 6) ekspansi amanat teks syair Kumbang Mengindera pada teks syair Perahu; 7) rencana pembelajaran ema dan amanat syair Kumbang Mengindera; 8) rencana pembelajaran tema dan amanat syair Perahu. Penelitian ini berlangsung di semester ganjil tahun akademis 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perpustakaan. Melalui teknik dokumentasi digunakan pedoman observasi sebagai instrumen utama penelitian guna mengumpulkan data tema dan amaant teks syair. Instrumen kedua adalah pedoman cek-ricek untuk memvalidasi secara internal tema dan amanat syair. Data ekspansi tema dan amanat syiar Kumbang Meningidera sebagai teks hipogram pada syair Perahu sebagai teks transformasi dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian: 1) tema utama teks syair Kumbang Mengindera adalah pentingnya mempersiapkan diri untuk kehidupan akhirat yang diperkuat oleh 7 tema pendukung; 2) tema teks syair Perahu adalah orang yang berpegang teguh kepada tauhid yang diperkuat oleh 10 amanat pendukung; 3) ekspansi tema teks syair Kumbang Mengindera pada teks syair Perahu terletak pada jumlah tema; 4) amanat utama teks syair Kumbang Mengindera adalah siapkan diri untuk kehidupan akhirat yang diperkuat oleh amanat 7 amanat pendukung; 5) amanat utama teks syair Perahu adalah berpegang teguhlah kepada tauhid yang diperkuat oleh 10 amanat pendukung; 6) ekspansi amanat teks syair Kumbang Mengindera pada teks syair Perahu terletak pada jumlah amanat pendukung; 7) rencana pembelajaran tema dan amanat syair Kumbang Mengindera berisi 2 kegiatan awal, 14 kegiatan inti, dan 2 kegiatan akhir; 8) rencana pembelajaran tema dan amanat syair Perahu berisi 2 kegiatan awal, 17 kegiatan inti, dan 2 kegiatan akhir.

Abstract

This study aims to explore: 1) the central theme and supporting themes of the Mukhtasar Al Wusta hypogram text; 2) the theme of the transformation text of the Tempuling poem; 3) the expansion of the theme of the hypogram text in the transformation text; 4) the learning plan for the theme of the hypogram text using dual techniques through special teaching materials; 5) the learning plan for the theme of the transformation text using dual techniques through special teaching materials. This research took place in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year using the library method. The research instrument was a checklist observation guideline. Data on the themes of the hypogram text and the transformation text were analyzed using an intertextuality approach, specifically focusing on the expansion aspect. The results of the study: 1) the central theme of the hypogram text is the national security because it is ruled by allying with a party that has powerr while the supporting theme-1 is the strategic location of the country is one of the reasons for the progress of a country and the supporting theme-2 is the leader and the people are united under the auspices of Islam; 2) the central theme of the transformation text is the fishermen's vigilance against the threat of disasters at sea, while the supporting theme-1 is fishermen who are persistent in saving themselves from the ferocity of the sea waves and the supporting theme-2 is the mental readiness of the family against disasters that fishermen may experience at sea; 3) the expansion of the theme of the hypogram text in the transformation text is in the aspect of the number of themes; 4) the learning plan for the theme of the hypogram text uses a dual technique through special teaching materials for the hypogram text involving 2 initial activities, 15 core activities, and 3 final activities; 5) the learning plan for the theme of the hypogram text using a dual technique through special teaching materials for the transformation text involving 14 core activities using special teaching materials.

Abstract

This article explains the aesthetics of language in the Randai Kuantan performing arts in Pangean District of Kuantan Singingi Regency and its implications in learning at schools. The type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The research was conducted in Pangean District of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The instruments used were searching, obtaining, and collecting data through watching and recording the Randai Kuantan performing art recorded by a recording device. Data collection techniques used are recording techniques, interviews, and transcripts. The data source of the research comes directly from the Randai Kuantan performing art in Pangean District, Kuantan of Singingi Regency. The results of the research indicate that there are five types of diction found in the performing arts of Randai Kuantan, namely: a) denotation, b) connotation, c) abstract, d) concrete, and e) characteristic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of denotative semiotics and the meaning of connotative in the malay village bele tradition found in the village of Pelanduk Mandah Indragiri. The meaning of denotative semiotics and connotative semiotic meaning were obtained, namely in the form of objects and equipment used during traditional processions or ritual carried out in the village of Pelanduk Mandah Indragiri. This study used deskriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive research is a method used to describen analyze, and summrize various situations and conditions from varius data in the form of observatuons about problems. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques, interview techniques. The results of this study found 27 datums in the from of objects and equipment used and have denotative meanings and connotative meanings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the representation of coastal community life in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang" by Mariati Atkah through a sociology of literature approach. The sociology of literature approach is used to explore the relationship between literary works and the social conditions that form the background of their birth. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method commonly used in social science research, including research in the field of literature. The main data source of this study is the poetry texts contained in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang". Data on the representation of coastal community life in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang" were collected using an observation guide instrument validated by time triangulation assisted by a checklist. The research data were analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that this work displays various aspects of coastal community life that are full of meaning, such as perseverance in work, social intimacy, a spirit of togetherness, and local wisdom that grows from human closeness to the sea. In addition, this anthology also depicts social changes that occur due to the influence of modernization, which has an impact on shifting traditional community values. Overall, “Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang” not only has aesthetic value, but also functions as a cultural, social, and spiritual reflection of the lives of Indonesian coastal communities.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the psychological dynamics of the poet in Impromptu Terzina by Ewith Bahar through Freud’s psychoanalytic approach. The research focuses on how the terzina structure functions as a medium of sublimation for the poet’s inner expressions. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically by examining diction, symbols, and poetic structure representing Freud’s three aspects of personality: the id, ego, and superego. The findings show that the id appears through spontaneous emotional impulses, the ego organizes reflective awareness toward reality, and the superego embodies moral values and inner peace. The terzina structure serves not only as an aesthetic form but also reflects the poet’s psychological order in channeling inner conflict into emotional harmony. Thus, Impromptu Terzina demonstrates that poetry can act as a means of sublimation and self-healing while offering a new perspective in psychoanalytic literary studies that link Freud’s theory with poetic form and structure.

Abstract

This study analyzes Sosiawan Leak's poetry anthology Wathathitha using Homi K. Bhabha's postcolonial theory, particularly the concept of mimicry. This study was conducted to examine how the poems in the anthology represent colonial heritage and neo-feudalism practices that still shape Indonesia's socio-political life. The research method uses a mimetic qualitative approach by repeatedly reading thirteen selected poems and analyzing them through relevant theoretical sources. The results show that Wathathitha presents sharp social criticism of abuse of power, corruption, and bureaucracy that resemble colonial patterns. Mimicry is evident in the emergence of new colonialism and neo-feudalism structures that have been passed down into modern power practices. This anthology confirms that despite formal independence, colonial traces still influence the nation's identity and social system.
