Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of educational innovation in enhancing elementary school students’ environmental awareness through jamboree activities in Malasari Village. The subjects of this research were elementary school students participating in the jamboree, with a focus on implementing experiential learning strategies in outdoor settings. To measure students’ metacognitive awareness regarding environmental issues, the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory was used and adapted to the context of environmental education. The findings reveal that educational innovation through jamboree activities improved students’ understanding of the importance of environmental conservation, fostered caring attitudes, and encouraged active participation in environmentally friendly practices. This study highlights that experiential, outdoor-based education can be an effective strategy for instilling environmental awareness and values from an early age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun prototipe jemuran otomatis berbasis Arduino Uno dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini menggunakan sensor hujan untuk mendeteksi air dan sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) untuk mendeteksi intensitas cahaya. Data dari sensor diproses oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno untuk mengendalikan motor servo sebagai penggerak buka tutup atap jemuran secara otomatis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan perangkat keras, perancangan perangkat lunak, serta pengujian alat pada beberapa kondisi cuaca yaitu cerah, cerah hujan, mendung tanpa hujan, dan hujan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan yang terdeteksi oleh sensor. Atap jemuran dapat terbuka saat kondisi cerah dan tertutup saat kondisi hujan atau mendung. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam proses pengeringan pakaian secara otomatis, efisien, serta meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam aktivitas sehari-hari.

Abstract

Pisang merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang banyak diolah menjadi produk pangan, salah satunya keripik pisang. Tingginya permintaan keripik pisang, khususnya di Provinsi Lampung, menuntut adanya proses produksi yang lebih efisien dan aman. Namun, sebagian besar pelaku UMKM masih menggunakan alat pengiris pisang manual yang memerlukan waktu lama dan berisiko menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun alat pengiris pisang otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan Arduino Uno. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode rancang bangun yang meliputi tahap perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem terdiri dari Arduino Uno sebagai pengendali utama, motor stepper, motor DC, motor driver, power supply, DC-DC step down converter, dan LCD sebagai media tampilan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat mampu mengiris pisang secara otomatis dengan ketebalan yang dapat diatur sesuai kebutuhan. Meskipun demikian, pada ketebalan tertentu masih ditemukan irisan yang kurang sempurna akibat tekstur pisang yang lunak dan kecepatan putaran pisau yang tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, alat ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses pengirisan pisang dan berpotensi mendukung produktivitas UMKM.

Abstract

Determining the location and dimensions of coastal protection structures, especially breakwaters, must take into account oceanographic data so that the structure can function effectively to protect the coast from damage caused by waves and currents. The method employed in this study is a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), National Bathymetry data (BATNAS), and primary data collected directly through field observations, including sedimentation and tidal data. Based on the research conducted, the sedimentation rate for point 1 was 402.405 cm3/year. Point 2 was 503.006 cm3/year. Point 3 was 955.713 cm3/year. For tidal data obtained, the Higher High Water Level (HHWL) is 1.78 m, the Mean High Water Level (MHWL) is 1.2053 m, the Mean Sea Level (MSL) is 0.9203 m, the Mean Low Water Level (MLWL) is 0.6353 m, and the Lower Low Water Level LLWL) is 0.20 m. The dominant wind for 10 years blew from the north, with a maximum wind speed of 11 knots and an effective fetch length of 398.21 km. From the wave forecast, the breaking wave height (Hb) is 76.44 meters, the breaking wave depth (db) is 3.822 meters, the maximum wave height is 2 meters, and the period is 7 seconds.

Abstract

Limbah plastik Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) sulit terurai secara alami dan menjadi salah satu penyumbang pencemaran lingkungan terbesar. Di lingkungan kampus, limbah ini terutama berasal dari kemasan minuman sekali pakai, dengan volume mencapai 322,4 kg per bulan. Penanganan yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan, salah satunya melalui proses pencacahan menggunakan mesin shredder. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang mesin pencacah plastik tipe shredder berkapasitas 10 kg/jam yang sesuai untuk karakteristik PET serta menghitung kebutuhan daya pengoperasiannya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan teknis mesin, pemilihan material dan komponen, serta perhitungan kebutuhan daya berdasarkan tegangan geser PET. Perancangan difokuskan pada efisiensi energi, kemudahan perawatan, dan ketahanan terhadap beban kerja berulang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mesin memiliki kapasitas 10 kg/jam dengan torsi pisau 102 Nm, putaran minimum 218 rpm, dan kebutuhan daya 4 HP. Mesin menggunakan motor listrik Modern PR007 berputaran 1.420 rpm, gearbox WPA 40, transmisi sabuk-puli, serta pisau dan poros berbahan baja karbon S45C. Bantalan yang digunakan adalah FYTB 25 TF-SKF, sedangkan rangka terbuat dari profil ASTM A 500. Uji kinerja membuktikan mesin mampu mencacah PET menjadi potongan seragam dengan operasi stabil.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing need for accurate, fast, and adaptive political data analysis models to address developments in digital technology, particularly in integrating visual and non-visual data. Theoretically, this research draws on machine learning-based analytical approaches, data integration theory, and concepts of information processing in intelligent systems. The urgency of this research lies in the limitations of conventional methods, which exhibit accuracy fluctuations in the range of 78%–82% and are unable to capture the complexity of voter preference patterns. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a predictive model based on the integration of textual questionnaire data and image data, which can significantly improve analysis accuracy. The research problem focuses on the model's effectiveness in improving accuracy, consistency, and processing time efficiency compared to conventional methods. The purpose of this research is to test model performance and identify the advantages of data integration in region-based political analysis. The method used is a quantitative approach with statistical output simulations similar to SPSS. The results showed that the model produced an average accuracy of 91.3% with a standard deviation of 0.56, an average processing time of 18 hours with a standard deviation of 0.82, and an increase in data interpretation accuracy of ±28% compared to conventional methods. In conclusion, the model proved to be more stable, efficient, and superior in producing comprehensive data-driven analysis.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the structural paradox within Indonesia’s palm oil sector, which serves as a major contributor to national foreign exchange earnings while still relying heavily on Casual Daily Workers (Buruh Harian Lepas/BHL) who live in vulnerable conditions. The disparity between macroeconomic contributions and workers’ welfare has created inequalities that require further examination. This study aims to analyze wage practices and the validity of employment contracts in smallholder plantations in Mekar Harjo Village, Central Lampung, based on the principles of Islamic Economic Law, particularly the aspects of justice (al-‘adl) and adequacy (kifayah). The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with six key informants consisting of workers, landowners, and community leaders. The findings reveal the dominance of oral contracts (mu‘athah) without written agreements, resulting in uncertainty (gharar) and weakening workers’ legal positions. The piece-rate wage system was also found to be highly fluctuating following market prices and often below decent living standards, thereby encouraging the involvement of family members without adequate compensation

Abstract

This study examines the practice of weighing marine products in Rangai Tritunggal Village, Katibung District, South Lampung Regency from the perspective of Islamic economic law. The aim is to describe the weighing practice and analyze its compliance with sharia principles. This research is field research using a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews with 15 people consisting of fishermen, traders (pelele), and consumers, supported by a literature review of books, national and international journals. Data analysis was performed descriptively and analytically. The results show that the weighing practice of marine products is conducted using a per-box system containing 25 kg of fish and 5 kg of ice priced at IDR 750,000 per box. After the ice melts, the net weight of the fish shrinks to 23-24 kg, causing losses to consumers. This practice contradicts the principles of justice (al-adl), honesty (al-shidq), and mutual benefit (tawaffuq). Furthermore, this practice violates Q.S. Al-Muthaffifin (83) verses 1-3 and Article 25 of Law Number 2 of 1981 concerning Legal Metrology. Islamic economic law considers this weighing practice invalid (batal) because it contains fraud and uncertainty (gharar) that harms one party

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komposisi fraksi sedimen dasar di Muara Sungai Kapuas Kecil Kalimantan Barat serta menginterpretasikan implikasinya terhadap karakter lingkungan pengendapan. Sampel sedimen  permukaan diambil dari dasar perairan pada 8 stasiun penelitian, kemudian dianalisis untuk menentukan persentase fraksi pasir, lanau, dan liat menggunakan metode analisis ukuran butir sedimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sedimen dasar didominasi oleh fraksi lanau dan pasir, sedangkan fraksi liat memiliki kisaran yang sedikit. Nilai lanau tertinggi ditemukan pada Stasiun 9 (89,375%) dan Stasiun 16 Sed 3(85,58%), sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada Stasiun 1 (35,22%). Fraksi pasir menunjukkan variasi yang cukup besar dengan kisaran 2,88–60,78%, di mana nilai tertinggi terdapat pada Stasiun 1 (60,78%). Fraksi liat relatif rendah di seluruh stasiun dengan kisaran 2–10%, dengan nilai tertinggi pada Stasiun 2 (10%). Sebagian besar stasiun didominasi oleh sedimen lanau yang mengindikasikan bahwa Muara Sungai Kapuas merupakan lingkungan dengan energi hidrodinamika rendah hingga sedang yang mendukung proses pengendapan partikel halus. Keberadaan pasir yang tinggi pada Stasiun 1 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh energi arus yang lebih kuat secara lokal. Secara umum, Muara Sungai Kapuas Kecil dicirikan sebagai sistem estuari dengan kecenderungan zona deposisi sedimen halus yang berpotensi mengalami akumulasi dan perubahan morfologi dasar perairan.
