Abstract

The results of the 2022 International Student Assessment (PISA) indicate that Indonesian students' creativity still requires serious attention. Therefore, this study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning to develop students' creative thinking skills in designing a power plant using Canva in elementary school students. This research was conducted experimentally using a "Pretest Post-test Control Design" design. The treatment was the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning with a project to design a power plant using Canva in class 4A (28 students), and the control was class 4B (28 students) with the same project but learning without differentiated PjBL. Measurement of students' creative thinking skills was carried out through pretests and post-tests covering indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results of the One-Way ANOVA analysis followed by LSD showed that the pretest between the experimental and control groups did not differ significantly. However, the post-test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The results of the Mann-Whitney analysis of all indicators of students' creative thinking abilities prove that the pretest scores between the experimental group and the control group for all indicators are not significantly different. However, the post-test scores of the experimental group for all indicators are significantly higher than the control group. It is concluded that the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning is significantly able to develop students' creative thinking abilities in designing power plants through Canva in Elementary School Students.

Abstract

The concept of motivation to learn encompasses a wide array of components. The attributes mentioned above collectively have an influence on the cognitive processes, emotional states, interpersonal relationships, and behavioral patterns of students in various educational and non-educational settings. While Fives, et al. (2014) classify scientific literacy into 5 components, namely: the role of science, scientific thinking and activities, science and society, mathematics in science, and science motivation and beliefs. In addition, the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) framework from the OECD (2019a) defines scientific literacy as the ability to engage with science-related problems and with the idea of science as a reflective citizen. This research design uses correlation research to measure the research results, learning motivation as the independent variable and scientific literacy as the dependent variable. The approach used in the research is the survey method. From the overall results and discussion of the research above, it can be concluded that: Based on the R square value of 0.077 in the table above, learning motivation affects science literacy by 46.2%, for the remaining 53.8% ecoliteracy is influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the table above, it is known that the sig. value is 0.102> 0.05, so it can be concluded that learning motivation has no effect on students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of learning management systems on the enhancement of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in high school ecosystem materials. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The findings show that the management of learning strategies by teachers, such as the use of case studies, open-ended questions, and group discussions, significantly encourages students to think analytically and reflectively. In addition, the principal plays the role of an instructional leader who fosters an academic climate that promotes critical thinking through teacher training, instructional supervision, and the integration of critical thinking values into the school culture. The learning evaluation system is also directed to assess high-level thinking skills, with the rubric of analysis and reflection as the primary measuring tool. This study concludes that improving learning outcomes cannot be separated from the integration of teacher strategies, school leadership support, and reflection-based evaluation. The study's implications highlight the importance of a holistic managerial approach in science learning, enabling students not only to master concepts but also to develop applicable and contextual critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the components of classroom management skills and provide reinforcement by teachers to learners. The research method used is the descriptive method. The type of research used is correlational using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques use literacy and observation studies when learning practices through direct video recording observation. The respondents used 13 practices in microteaching teaching courses at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Jember. The results showed that practical skills in managing classes were still not good. This is evidenced by the percentage number of calculation results of each skill component. The behavioral component obtained a score of 71.2%, the skill component divided attention 79.3%, the skill component focused the group's attention 64%, the skill component demanded the responsibility of learners 55% and the skill component gave clear instruction 50%. The results of research on practical strengthening skills are already included in the good category. Proven in the value of the skill component which shows more than 50%. In the verbal reinforcement, component obtained a value of 82%, the component of non-verbal strengthening skills 65.5%, the skill component of how to strengthen 78.25%, and the skill component of the principles of strengthening 73.25%. Respondents who mastered both skills were the 11th student.

Abstract

Keterampilan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari minimnya kemampuan guru dalam mencapai kenaikan pangkat dengan menghasilkan suatu karya ilmiah. Kualitas yang kurang bagus dari suatu karya ilmiah berkontribusi pada tidak lolosnya suatu karya ilmiah dalam publikasi ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh guru. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu untuk mengevaluasi keterampilan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah melalui pelatihan strategi efektif publikasi pada jurnal ilmiah Nasional. Metode Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Asset Based Based Community Development meliputi kegiatan workshop dan pendampingan penulisan serta publikasi artikel ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah menjadi lebih baik dan mampu melakukan submisi artikel pada jurnal ilmiah nasional. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait penulisan artikel ilmiah perlu terus dilaksanakan kepada guru sehingga guru akan semakin terbiasa, kreatif dan inovatif dalam berkarya menghasilkan artikel ilmiah.

Abstract

In the current era of independent curriculum learning, the use of media in learning is very relevant to learning the differentiation of each student. This study aims to examine the correlation between the use of learning media in the form of flannel boards, with creative thinking and student learning outcomes The results of this study are the application of batik flannel board media is significant with the results of the creativity of control class students (who are not subjected to variables) is to reach an average score of 66.4 below the completeness number 75 while the results of the creativity of experimental class students (who are subjected to variables) is to reach an average score of 83.5 above the completeness number 75 with the One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test normality test. While based on the results of the understanding of the control class students reached an average score of 66.4 below the completeness number 75 while the results of the understanding of the experimental class students, namely the class subjected to the batik flannel board media, reached an average score of 83.5 above the completeness number 75 with the One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, with the significance test above 0.05, meaning that the data is normal. In conclusion, the implementation of Batik Flannel Board media can increase creativity and understanding of the concept of Mathematical Comparison material in grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

Analisis kebutuhan yang telah peneliti lakukan di kelas VII SMPN 1 Jenggawah menunjukkan bahwa, pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan belum tersedia media pembelajaran yang menarik juga menimbulkan motivasi dalam diri peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, peneliti tertarik mengembangkan media video dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan. Analisis Deskriptif dapat memberikan gambaran tentang keadaan atau status fenomena yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian berdasarkan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Teknik analisis statistika deskriptif membahas materi-materi statistika antara lain kecenderungan memusatnya nilai atau nilai tengah (tendensi sentral), ukuran variabilitas, meliputi rentangan (range), simpangan baku (standard deviasi). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis data hasil respons peserta didik terhadap media video pembelajaran IPA pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan menggunakan analisis Statistik Deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif melalui SPSS. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan data uji respons dengan responden sebanyak 30 peserta didik dari SMPN 1 Jenggawah kelas VIIA, VIIB, dan VIIC yang dipilih secara acak. Data uji respons didapatkan dari form kuisioner dengan pertanyaan sebanyak 20 butir dan dilengkapi dengan pilihan jawaban skala likert 1-5. Data uji respons peserta didik menjadi variabel independen dalam analisis deskriptif ini. Data hasil uji respons kemudian di analisisdengan uji statistik deskriptif menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. hasil analisis SPSS yang telah dilakukan terhadap data hasil respons siswa didapat hasil bahwa video pembelajaran sudah sangat baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran khususnya pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dan peserta didik lebih termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak. Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara dengan kekayaan alam yang melimpah terutama dalam sektor pertanian. Faktor seperti cuaca yang tidak menentu dan curah hujan yang tinggi dapat mengganggu proses panen dan pengeringan hasil pertanian. Pengeringan merupakan salah satu langkah penting dalam pemrosesan hasil pertanian, terutama dalam menjaga kualitas dan mengurangi risiko kerusakan akibat kelembaban berlebih. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan mesin pengering hasil pertanian menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pengeringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi kelistrikan pada beberapa mesin pengering pertanian dengan metode pengumpulan data dari literatur yang telah kami peroleh. Hasil penelitian ini akan menjelaskan terkait prinsip kerja, kelebihan, serta kekurangan dari tiap mesin pengering pertanian serta membuktikan bahwa peran kelistrikan dalam penggunaan mesin pengering di pertanian dapat membantu proses pengeringan dari hasil pertanian dengan cara mengeluarkan atau menghilangkan sebagian besar kadar air dari bahan hasil panen dengan memanfaatkan energi panas.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks second as the largest producer of plastic waste in the world. Plastic waste takes about 1000 years to decompose. Cleaning up plastic waste is very difficult, because plastic waste has non-porous polymer properties, plastic can also cause temperatures to increase day by day. Plastic waste has a negative impact on the environment, such as environmental pollution due to the accumulation of waste. Anticipatory and preventive actions are needed to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research is to increase public awareness of the ecobrick method to utilize waste as an environmentally friendly material that has economic value. Abstract

Latar belakang: Penderita diabetes yang meningkat menjadi perhatian global karena berhubungan dengan penyakit metabolisme. Kadar gula darah menjadi parameter penting bagi evaluasi kesehatan, khusunya diabetes. Medan magnet ELF diduga mampu mengontrol kadar gula darah yang tinggi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kadar gula darah mencit yang terpapar medan magnet ELF dengan yang tidak terpapar. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium. Sampel penelitian yakni mencit jantan berumur 23-25 hari dengan berat badan 15-20 gram sebanyak 21 ekor. Sampel dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yang masing-masing kelompok berjumlah 7 ekor mencit, yakni kelompok kontrol, kelompok eksperimen 500 μT dan eksperimen 1000 μT. Durasi pemaparan yakni 3 jam/hari selama 30 hari.  Hasil:  Analisis data dengan menggunakan Uji One Way Anova menunjukkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,043<0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil kadar gula darah mencit yang terpapar medan magnet ELF dengan yang tidak terpapar. Perbedaan signifikan terdapat pada perbandingan antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen 1000 μT.
