Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan mengikuti pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020).

Abstract

People's physical and mental health, particularly their blood pressure, may be impacted by the psychosocial disorder known as work-related stress. In 2025, this research set out to examine how engineering firm workers felt about their jobs in relation to their stress levels and the frequency with which hypertension episodes occurred. One hundred thirty-seven workers were chosen at random for a cross-sectional analytical observational research. Blood pressure was measured according to World Health Organization standards, and work-related stress was categorized as either low or high. At the 5% significance level, the data were examined using bivariate and univariate analyses using the Chi-square test. The majority of responders (62.2%) reported hypertension and high levels of stress due to their jobs. There was no statistically significant link between work-related stress and hypertension (p-value = 0.623), while the risks of acquiring hypertension were 1.41 times greater for employees with high stress levels compared to those with low stress levels. It is clear from these results that stress on the job does not play a major role in the development of hypertension in the sample group. Nonetheless, initiatives to improve and safeguard workplace health should not be abandoned.

Abstract

Bank tellers face high work demands, which put them at risk of work fatigue. This research is directed to examine the relationship between the level of workload and the condition of work fatigue in banking teller officers. The method applied is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design and the application of total sampling techniques to 32 respondents. Workload assessment is done using the NASA-TLX instrument, while work fatigue measurement is done using the IFRC questionnaire. Data processing includes descriptive analysis and analysis of intervariate relationships through the Chi-Square test. Research findings show that the largest proportion of respondents are in the very high workload category (87,5%) and a very high level of fatigue (81,3%). Statistical test results indicate a significant relationship between workload and work fatigue (p 0.05). This finding confirms that workload control is an important factor in efforts to reduce fatigue and support the improvement of employee performance. Keywords : Workload, Work Fatigue, Teller Bank

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are a common occupational health problem experienced by office workers, particularly due to prolonged static work postures and high-intensity computer use. This study aims to identify MSD complaints among workers at Insurance Company  using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ). The study was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach with 35 respondents selected based on inclusion criteria. The results showed that 94.3% of respondents experienced MSD complaints, while 5.7% of respondents did not report any complaints. MSD complaints were most commonly found in body parts vulnerable to exposure to ergonomic risks, namely the neck, shoulders, upper and lower back, and wrists. The high proportion of these complaints indicates that the risk of MSDs in the Insurance Company work environment is at a level that requires serious attention. These findings demonstrate the need for ergonomic interventions as part of efforts to prevent occupational diseases in the office sector through rearranging workstations, implementing microbreaks, providing ergonomic education, and regular monitoring of working conditions to reduce the risk of MSDs and improve work comfort.

Abstract

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is an effective method for preventing Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) among Men Sex Men (MSM), but its uptake in Tangerang City remains low. This study explores the experiences of MSM using PrEP based on the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) in Tangerang City. Conducted from January to June 2024, this descriptive qualitative research involved three key informants and two supporting informants from healthcare and community services, selected purposively. Content analysis was employed to examine the TTM stages: precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. In the precontemplation stage, MSM continue risky sexual behaviors despite recognizing HIV risks. During contemplation, they demonstrate good knowledge about HIV and PrEP and express a strong intention to start PrEP. The preparation stage underscores the importance of community and healthcare support in initiating PrEP. In the action stage, many MSM face side effects like nausea and dizziness. In the maintenance stage, despite awareness and support, side effects, boredom, and the belief of reduced risk lead MSM to discontinue PrEP. All informants experienced the five TTM stages, but two of three discontinued PrEP at the maintenance stage. Intensive initial support is crucial to manage side effects and ensure adherence to PrEP. Abstract

Waterborne diseases remain a serious public health concern in vulnerable communities, particularly in areas with inadequate sanitation. WHO reported approximately 505,000 diarrhea-related deaths annually due to unsafe drinking water. Indonesia's 2023 Health Survey showed diarrhea prevalence of 4.3% across all age groups. This scoping review aims to critically map and evaluate the effectiveness of various sanitation interventions in combating waterborne diseases in vulnerable communities based on current scientific evidence. The scoping review followed the Arksey and O'Malley (2005) framework, strengthened with JBI guidance, and reported using PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Searches were conducted through Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus (2020-2025). Sixteen articles were analyzed using descriptive thematic analysis. Multi-component sanitation interventions combining behavioral change with infrastructure provision demonstrated higher effectiveness than single interventions. Point-of-use water treatment reduced diarrhea risk by up to 50%, while handwashing with soap reduced risk by 30%. CLTS/STBM programs significantly improved latrine coverage and reduced diarrhea prevalence. Intervention effectiveness was moderated by seasonal variation, geographic context, and community participation levels. Multi-component approaches integrating behavioral change, infrastructure improvement, and institutional strengthening proved most effective. Significant research gaps exist regarding long-term sustainability, cost-effectiveness analysis, and climate change adaptation.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a global health challenge and a significant economic burden in Indonesia, given its high prevalence among women. This study aims to evaluate the gap between actual medical costs and INA-CBGs rates in breast cancer management to formulate policy recommendations for the sustainability of oncology services. The research was conducted through a narrative review of literature published in 2022–2026 from the Scopus, ProQuest, and Dimensions databases. The review of three selected articles confirmed the existence of a substantial disparity in costs, characterized by a consistent negative difference between actual hospital costs and JKN claim rates. The findings show that the largest cost component comes from cytostatic drugs at 62–69%, while radiotherapy services are reimbursed at only about 59–87% of actual costs. This discrepancy is further exacerbated by medical inflation and the increasing complexity of managing advanced cases. In conclusion, structural cost discrepancies threaten the financial stability of hospitals, necessitating a periodic revision of rates based on activity-based costing and the implementation of a carve-out policy for high-value oncology drugs to ensure sustainable service accessibility.
