Abstract

Student learning outcomes are the output of the teaching and learning process. One of the problems in learning at school is the low student learning outcomes. This can be known from the initial data on the value of the diagnostic analysis results. Many factors influence learning outcomes, one of which is the learning model. The Problem Based Learning Model is an innovative learning model that requires students to be active and motivate students so that they can support and help each other in mastering the subject matter being studied. Research procedures include the observation stage, preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The population and sample in this research were 28 students of class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 11 MAROS. The sampling technique in this research used a saturated sampling technique.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prototype Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (pesawat tanpa awak) berbasis quadcopter sebagai sistem pemantau keamanan gedung. Alat ini dirancang dan dibuat untuk membantu perusahaan / organisasi dalam menjaga sistem keamanan gedung. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Perancangan alat ini dilaksanakan dalam 5 (lima) tahapan, yaitu : analisis kebutuhan prototype UAV, menentukan desain UAV, merancang prototype UAV, ujicoba prototype UAV dan implementasi prototype UAV. Adapun yg diujikan dalam uji coba prototype UAV ini adalah koneksi pesawat ke remote, koneksi kamera ke virtual reality, durability, manuver dan aerodinamis. Abstract

Generation Z, raised in the digital era, holds significant potential to drive transformation in the agricultural sector through agripreneurship. However, alongside the rapid development of technology and digital marketplaces, they also face various notable challenges. This study explores the barriers faced by Gen Z in initiating and developing agribusiness ventures, including limited access to capital, lack of technical agricultural knowledge, and insufficient mentorship from industry players. On the other hand, there are numerous opportunities to seize, such as easier market access through digital platforms, rising consumer demand for healthy and organic products, and increasing government support for agricultural startups. By adopting adaptive, innovative, and collaborative approaches, Gen Z has a promising opportunity to become a key agent of change in building a modern and sustainable agricultural sector. This study aims to provide insights and strategic recommendations for stakeholders to encourage the emergence of young digital-based agripreneurs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death globally, necessitating effective predictive systems. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of various machine learning (ML) models—Logistic Regression (LR), Random Forest (RF), Naive Bayes (NB), Support Vector Classifier (SVC), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN)—in predicting heart disease using publicly available health data. The study involved pre-processing data, training models, and evaluating them using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and G-Mean metrics. The results show that KNN is the most reliable model, with the highest accuracy of 92%. Significant health features were identified, such as chest pain type and maximum heart rate. The study contributes to improving clinical decision support systems by identifying optimal ML models for heart disease prediction.

Abstract

Given the increasing prevalence of mental health challenges in digital work settings, especially among IT remote workers, early detection mechanisms have become critically important. This study aims to improve the prediction accuracy of mental health conditions among IT remote workers by integrating feature engineering techniques within machine learning models. Five algorithms consisting of Random Forest, Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes were evaluated. The Random Forest model achieved the best performance, with 83% accuracy, 83% precision, 100% recall, and a 90% F1-score, followed closely by Logistic Regression with 82% accuracy. Nevertheless, the results demonstrate the feasibility of applying machine learning to support the early detection of mental health risks, offering a strong foundation for future research in predictive analytics and the development of intelligent support systems within digital work environments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan jenis dan pengaruh slang pada platform sosial media Tiktok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memahami fenomena sosial, budaya, atau perilaku manusia melalui analisis data non-numerik. Tuturan atau ujaran bahasa gaul yang ditemukan di fitur komentar media sosial Tiktok adalah sumber data penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi, atau baca, untuk mengumpulkan data. Identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, analisis data, dan simpulan adalah empat tahap analisis data. Menurut penelitian dan diskusi, ada empat jenis bahasa gaul yang ditemukan di media sosial Tiktok: singkatan, salah ucap, dipendekkan, dan interjeksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa slang adalah hasil daya temu kebahasaan, terutama kaum muda yang menginginkan istilah-istilah yang baru, segar, asli, dan mudah untuk mereka gunakan saat berkomunikasi. Penggunaan bahasa slang tidak hanya secara lisan tetapi juga secara tertulis, seperti penggunaan bahasa slang di media sosial.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the competence of teachers at SD IT Anak Sholeh Mandiri Banjarmasin in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the development of interactive teaching materials. In the digital era, AI has great potential to assist teachers in designing learning materials that are more engaging, innovative, and tailored to students’ needs. The training covers the introduction of basic AI concepts, the utilization of various AI-based tools for creating teaching materials, as well as hands-on practice in developing interactive content that can improve learning effectiveness. The methods used include presentations, discussions, workshops, and simulations of AI technology implementation in the creation of teaching materials. It is expected that through this training, teachers at SD IT Anak Sholeh Mandiri Banjarmasin will become more creative and efficient in preparing learning resources, making the learning process more interesting and aligned with technological advancements in education. Moreover, this training also aims to build the school’s readiness to adopt digital technologies in order to support the improvement of education quality.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring sering kali menghadapi tantangan terkait motivasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat penerimaan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran daring berbasis gamifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional, mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner dari 64 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen gamifikasi, khususnya aspek philanthropist dan socializer, memberikan dampak terbesar terhadap motivasi dan partisipasi mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata 3,96 dan 3,9. Sebaliknya, aspek achiever dan explorer memiliki pengaruh yang lebih kecil. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan gamifikasi dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring, dan menyarankan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor individu yang mempengaruhi penerimaan gamifikasi.

Abstract

Advanced machine learning has managed to detect IoT botnets. However, conflicts arise due to complex models and limited device resources. Our research aim is on a quantized intrusion detection system (QUIDS), an edge-based botnet detection for IoT device pairing. Using knearest neighbor (KNN) within QUIDS, we incorporate quantization, random sampling (RS), and feature selection (FS). Initially, we simulated a botnet attack, devised countermeasures via a sequence diagram, and then utilized a Kaggle botnet attack dataset. Our novel approach includes RS, FS, and 16-bit quantization, optimizing each step empirically. The test results show that employing a mean decrease in impurity (MDI) by FS reduces features from 115 to 30. Despite a slight accuracy drop in KNN due to RS, FS, and quantization sustain performance. Testing our model revealed 1200 RS samples as optimal, maintaining performance while reducing features. Quantization to 16-bit doesn’t alter feature value distribution. Implementing QUIDS increased the compression ratio (CR) to 175×, surpassing RS+FS threefold and RS by 13 times. This novel method emerges as the most efficient in CR.

Abstract

Students of the 2021 Sports Education and English Education Study Programs have carried out Real Work Lecture (KKN) program activities on July 23 - September 26, 2024 in the environment of SMA Negeri 15 Samarinda. This program is one of the courses that must be taken by students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) before going directly into the world of education. This KKN activity aims to develop creativity and build cooperation between students, teachers, students and other school residents. There are 3 activities that must be carried out while at SMA Negeri 15 Samarinda, namely the collaboration of students and OSIS SMA Negeri 15 Samarinda to make the August 17 Competition and the Seminar “The Importance of Higher Education” and “The Dangers of Bullying and Sexual Harrasment”. As for the optional activities, there are 3, namely the making of a “Mini Park” which is divided into 3 parts, namely the making of a mini park, a cleanliness sign and also submitting a plant request proposal to the Samarinda City Environmental Service, making Anti-Bullying and Sexual Harassment posters.
