Abstract

Hospitals have a role in providing complete health services. Nursing personnel have a large proportion, almost 50% of all hospital human resources. The purpose of this research is to determine the analysis of the influence of knowledge and quality of electronic information systems on nursing care documentation and perceived usefulness as a mediating variable for nursing staff in the X Hospital inpatient setting. The method used in this research is research using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis techniques using SmartPLS version 3 software. Data collection used a survey method by taking questionnaires from 95 nurses in the X Hospital inpatient unit. The sampling technique used in this research is total sampling. The results of this research are that knowledge has a direct effect and significant to perceived usefulness. Knowledge has a direct and significant impact on nursing care documentation. Electronic information systems have a direct and significant effect on perceived usefulness. Electronic information systems have a direct and significant impact on nursing care documentation. Abstract

This study investigates the influence of self-efficacy and patient safety culture on caring behavior, with work motivation acting as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative causality approach, focusing on a population of 280 inpatient installation nurses, data were collected from 195 nurses across inpatient installations. The analysis proves that simultaneously, self-efficacy, patient safety culture, and work motivation positively and significantly affect caring behavior with the probability value of 0.000. The self-efficacy, patient safety culture, and work motivation improve caring behavior by 11%, 19%, and 70%, respectively. Partially, self-efficacy, patient safety culture, and work motivation have significant effects on caring behavior with t-values of 2.21, 3.69, and 9.67, respectively. Simultaneously and partially, self-efficacy and patient safety culture have positive and significant effects on work motivation with t-values of 7.48 and 6.98, respectively. Work motivation positively intervenes on the relationship between self-efficacy and patient safety culture on caring behavior so that they are able to increase the caring behavior of nurses in inpatient installations. This research introduces a novel integrative framework by combining psychological and organizational culture variables with motivational dynamics in a single empirical model. It contributes both theoretically and practically to the development of a caring behavior model tailored for healthcare environments, addressing a gap in existing literature and offering actionable insights for hospital management. Management could intrinsically contribute by offering training for clinical nurses across all levels. The patient-centered care model can also be implemented extrinsically to ensure that nurses promote effective nursing services. An appealing remuneration scheme provides an extrinsic motivator for nurses. Furthermore, management stresses nursing SOPs with strict consequences to enforce discipline in nursing care.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Social Media Marketing as a moderation variable on the influence of psychosocial support, health communication, information and education (KIE), and health facilities on pregnant women's decisions in choosing Antenatal Care (ANC) and childbirth services at Petukangan General Hospital. Psychosocial support, which includes emotional and social support from family and health workers, plays an important role in lowering anxiety and improving the comfort of pregnant women. In addition, an effective KIE is able to increase the understanding of mothers-to-be regarding the risks and available health care options. Health facilities at Petukangan Hospital, including medical equipment, hygiene, and comfort of the treatment room, are also important aspects that affect the preferences of pregnant women. This study found that Social Media Marketing has a significant role as a moderation variable. With the right utilization, social media can be an effective platform to disseminate information about the quality of hospital services and facilities, so that it can influence the decision of pregnant women. The results of the analysis showed that the combination of psychosocial support, good information and education, quality health facilities, and effective marketing through social media increased the tendency of pregnant women to choose Petukangan Hospital as the place of delivery. This study underscores the importance of the right social media marketing strategy in improving hospital competitiveness in the digital era. Recommendations are given for Petukangan Hospital to strengthen digital marketing strategies to maximize the positive influence on the decisions of potential patients, especially among pregnant women.

Abstract

The importance of leadership and communication styles in upholding a safety culture in a health service. This research aims to analyse the influence of transformational leadership effective communication on patient safety culture with trust as mediation in nursing personnel in general hospital X. This study used a questionnaire involving 98 respondents with a cross-sectional quantitative research design using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The results of the study found that transformational leadership has a significant effect on patient safety culture, then effective communication has a significant effect on patient safety culture. Where the highest dimension of transformational leadership is inspirational motivation (89.9%), the highest dimension of effective communication is context (86.8%), the highest dimension in patient safety culture is a non-punitive response to error incidents (79.6%), while the highest dimension of trust is integrity (85.5%). The research concludes that transformational leadership and effective communication exert influence on trust-mediated patient safety culture
