Abstract

The decision of pregnant mothers to choose Antenatal Care (ANC) and delivery services is important because it affects hospital visits. The number of pregnant mothers visiting Petukangan General Hospital has shown a declining trend in 2023. Various health services for pregnant mothers have been provided, but they have not yet succeeded in increasing the number of visits. This research aims to analyze the role of Social Media Marketing as a moderating variable in the influence of psychosocial support, health communication, information and education (KIE), and health service facilities on the decision of pregnant mothers in choosing Antenatal Care (ANC) and delivery services at Petukangan General Hospital. Psychosocial support, which includes emotional and social support from family and healthcare providers, plays a crucial role in reducing anxiety and enhancing the comfort of pregnant mothers. Additionally, comprehensive health service facilities, such as specialist and subspecialist obstetric services, significantly influence the decisions of pregnant mothers. This study employs a causal quantitative research approach. The sample for this research consists of pregnant mothers residing in Jakarta who have utilized services at Petukangan Hospital at least twice, have plans to give birth, are aware of the hospital's Instagram social media, and are participants in the BPJS program. The total sample size is 220 pregnant mothers. The analysis technique used is Cross Sectional with the SEM-PLS measurement method. The study shows that psychosocial support and health service facilities have a significant influence on the decisions of pregnant mothers. Conversely, health communication, information, and education (KIE) do not have a significant effect. Social Media Marketing does not effectively moderate the relationship between these variables but has a direct and significant influence on the decisions of pregnant mothers through engaging and informative content. These results emphasize the importance of psychosocial support, quality service facilities, and effective digital marketing strategies to enhance the preferences of pregnant mothers for pregnancy services. Hospitals are recommended to strengthen their digital strategies to improve competitiveness in the healthcare market.

Abstract

This study is concerned with how to develop and carry out a risk management strategy at PT Meat Tech, a startup in the imported beef business. Following the ISO 31000:2018 standard, the research uses a qualitative-descriptive strategy to spot, review, assess and tackle risks within the organization. The research finds that PT Meat Tech deals with significant weaknesses in operations, human assets and finances. A risk assessment matrix helped the company score and prioritize threats which led to the planning of targeted solutions, division of tasks and checking risk levels after these measures were carried out. The research points out that structured plans improve alignment and accountability, but note they do not always work as intended when faced with resource issues. According to the study, although PT Meat Tech grasps the concepts of risk governance well, the sustainability is linked to always adapting, making investments and introducing real-time monitoring. Using these lessons, SMEs specializing in high-risk, logistics-based operations can create and strengthen their systems for handling risks.

Abstract

People tend to think of financial feasibility as an issue of numbers, which it is not. It is the issue of strategic intention, capital discipline, operating structure, and expected payoff being aligned. The research proposal is a complete financial plan and investment feasibility study on a new venture in the meat supply industry using the logistic-driven process targeting HORECA in the Jabodetabek area. In a five-year financial modeling, the study analyzes the anticipated revenues, cost structure, capital demand and finance projections through Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period, and the main financial ratios. The combination of scenario budgeting with systematic investment analysis not only builds a story of performance based on the strategic cost-allocation, liquidity maintenance and long-term solvency, but it also anticipates changing conditions, provides a clearer vision of the future by ensuring that the company can transform itself to adapt the potential improvements and counter powers to capitalize on them. Results show that profitability in the short term is sacrificed, but as of the second year, the enterprise will be able to cover its finances, achieve operational leverage, respectively high net margins as of the fifth year. The presence of a positive net present value (NPV) of 3.2 billion Indonesian rupiahs, an internal rate of returns (IRR) of 24 percent, and a 4.4-year payback indicate that as an investment it is both appealing to investors and economical in terms of capital.

Abstract

Introducion The performance of nurses is a critical determinant of hospital service quality, influenced by multiple factors such as workload, competence, and supervision. This study aimed to analyze the effect of workload and nurse competence on nurse performance with supervision as a moderating variable at X  Hospital. Methods The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal survey design. Data were collected using structured questionnaires distributed to 176 nurses and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. Result The findings revealed that both workload and competence significantly influenced nurse performance, with competence showing a strong positive effect. Workload was also found to have a significant effect on supervision, and nurse competence significantly enhanced supervision quality. However, supervision did not function as a moderating factor in the relationship between workload and nurse performance, nor between competence and nurse performance. Similarly, supervision itself was not significantly associated with nurse performance. The coefficient of determination showed that workload, competence, and supervision jointly explained 60% of nurse performance, while the remaining 40% was influenced by other unmeasured factors. Conclusion, workload and competence are proven to be direct determinants of nurse performance, whereas supervision in its current form does not enhance these effects. Hospital management should therefore focus on optimizing workload distribution, strengthening nurse competencies through continuous training, and reformulating supervision methods to be more participatory and supportive. These strategies are expected to improve the quality and effectiveness of nursing services and ensure sustainable improvements in hospital performance outcomes.

Abstract

Modern healthcare services are undergoing transformation toward a more humanistic and patient-centered approach, emphasizing hospitality based services in hospitals. However, many healthcare institutions, particularly in outpatient settings, have not fully adopted this concept. Patients often experience psychological distress, and when coupled with an unsupportive physical environment, their comfort and overall experience may be diminished. These conditions can negatively affect perceptions of service quality, patient satisfaction, and loyalty toward hospital services. This study aimed to analyze the influence of patients’ psychological conditions and the physical environment on hospitality-based services, with patient experience as an intervening variable, at the internal medicine outpatient clinic of BM Hospital. A quantitative research design using a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study involved 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with Likert-scale items and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that patients’ psychological conditions, the physical environment, and patient experience simultaneously and significantly influenced hospitality-based services. Hypothesis testing confirmed that both psychological conditions and the physical environment had a direct and significant impact on hospitality-based services. Furthermore, patient experience played a mediating role, strengthening the relationship between these factors and perceived service quality. The findings highlight the need for hospitals to integrate psychological support and a conducive physical environment into outpatient care delivery. Enhancing these dimensions can improve patient experience, foster greater satisfaction and comfort, and build stronger loyalty toward hospital services

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Social Media Marketing as a moderation variable on the influence of psychosocial support, health communication, information and education (KIE), and health facilities on pregnant women's decisions in choosing Antenatal Care (ANC) and childbirth services at Petukangan General Hospital. Psychosocial support, which includes emotional and social support from family and health workers, plays an important role in lowering anxiety and improving the comfort of pregnant women. In addition, an effective KIE is able to increase the understanding of mothers-to-be regarding the risks and available health care options. Health facilities at Petukangan Hospital, including medical equipment, hygiene, and comfort of the treatment room, are also important aspects that affect the preferences of pregnant women. This study found that Social Media Marketing has a significant role as a moderation variable. With the right utilization, social media can be an effective platform to disseminate information about the quality of hospital services and facilities, so that it can influence the decision of pregnant women. The results of the analysis showed that the combination of psychosocial support, good information and education, quality health facilities, and effective marketing through social media increased the tendency of pregnant women to choose Petukangan Hospital as the place of delivery. This study underscores the importance of the right social media marketing strategy in improving hospital competitiveness in the digital era. Recommendations are given for Petukangan Hospital to strengthen digital marketing strategies to maximize the positive influence on the decisions of potential patients, especially among pregnant women.
