Abstract

The development of decision support systems has become essential in assisting businesses to make accurate and objective decisions, especially in product selection processes. However, many retail businesses still rely on manual decision-making, which is often subjective and inconsistent. This study aims to develop a decision support system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) methods to improve the accuracy and consistency of product recommendations. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion through pairwise comparisons, while the MFEP method is applied to evaluate and rank product alternatives based on these weights. The criteria used in this study include sales, profit, and customer preferences. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the system is able to generate structured and objective product rankings. The highest score obtained is 4.6, indicating the most recommended product alternative. Furthermore, the evaluation results show that the system achieves an accuracy of 92% and a precision value of 90%, indicating high relevance of the recommendations. In addition, the Spearman Rank Correlation value of 0.95 indicates a very strong agreement between the system results and expert judgment. Therefore, the proposed system is effective in improving decision-making accuracy, reducing subjectivity, and providing reliable product recommendations.

Abstract

This study proposes a Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based feature selection approach for Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) using the CICIDS2017 dataset. To address high computational complexity caused by high dimensionality, network flows are normalized using Min-Max Scaling and transformed into textual representations via a consistent sentence template. The text data is then weighted using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), followed by Chi-Square (Chi²) feature selection to isolate the most discriminative features. This process yields a dataset comprising 691,406 text documents with 302 textual features. Performance is evaluated using Random Forest, Linear Support Vector Machine (Linear SVM), and Naïve Bayes classifiers. Experimental results show that Random Forest achieves the highest accuracy at 97.3%, followed by Linear SVM at 96.4%, and Naïve Bayes at 83.2%. The confusion matrix further confirms that the vast majority of network traffic instances are correctly classified. These findings demonstrate that transforming tabular network data into textual formats using NLP, combined with TF-IDF and Chi-Square feature selection, successfully produces representative features, enhances intrusion detection performance, and effectively reduces data complexity in NIDS.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak multidimensional, terutama pada aspek ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat. Penurunan pendapatan mendorong pemerintah memberikan Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) sebagai bentuk perlindungan sosial bagi masyarakat terdampak, seperti keluarga miskin, pekerja informal, dan pelaku usaha. BLT Dana Desa menjadi salah satu kebijakan yang diambil melalui pemanfaatan dana desa. Namun, di Desa Perkebunan Sei Dadap III/IV, proses pendataan penerima bantuan belum optimal dan kurang tepat sasaran karena tidak menggunakan perhitungan yang akurat. Akibatnya, sebagian masyarakat terdampak tidak menerima bantuan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode TOPSIS untuk meningkatkan akurasi penentuan penerima bantuan

Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the use of Mutual Information (MI) for feature selection in intrusion detection, focusing on the CICIDS 2017 dataset. Given the complexity and large volume of data in intrusion detection systems, this research aims to identify the most informative features. The methodology includes data preprocessing, MI calculation, and feature selection based on the highest MI values. The analysis results indicate that using MI contributes to improving model accuracy and reducing the false positive rate. These findings underscore the importance of feature selection in enhancing the effectiveness of intrusion detection systems and provide significant contributions to developing more efficient cybersecurity strategies. Keyword: IDS, Mutual Information, CICIDS2017, Feature selection Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan Mutual Information (MI) untuk seleksi fitur dalam deteksi intrusi, dengan fokus pada dataset CICIDS 2017. Mengingat kompleksitas dan volume data yang besar dalam sistem deteksi intrusi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fitur-fitur yang paling informatif. Metodologi yang diterapkan mencakup preprocessing data, perhitungan MI, dan seleksi fitur berdasarkan nilai MI tertinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan MI berkontribusi pada peningkatan akurasi model serta pengurangan tingkat false positive. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya seleksi fitur dalam meningkatkan efektivitas sistem deteksi intrusi dan memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan strategi keamanan siber yang lebih efisien. Kata kunci: IDS, Mutual Information, CICIDS2017, Seleksi fitur

Abstract

Abstract: The development of science and technology in the current global era plays an important role in all sectors, one of which is in the field of education. Currently, many new breakthroughs are emerging that keep up with the times, for example Cloud Compting. Cloud computing is an information system that allows easy access to resource components such as servers, applications and databases via the internet network. By using this system, resources will be stored and managed in a data center connected to the internet.Cloud Computing has many roles in the world of education. Utilizing cloud computing can save costs and prevent the implementation of complicated technology. One form of use of cloud computing in the world of education is in file (data) storage. The result of this activity is the achievement of the goal by observing and continuing to monitor the teachers that the teachers have successfully used cloud computing in storing data via cloud computing and have not experienced any difficulties.               Keywords: cloud computing; file; teacher  Abstrak: Perkembangan IPTEK di era global pada saat ini sangat berperan penting dalam segala sektor, salah satunya adalah dalam bidang pendidikan. Pada saat ini, banyak bermunculan terobosan baru yang mengikuti perkembangan zaman, misalnya Cloud Computing. Cloud computing merupakan sebuah sistem informasi yang memungkinkan kemudahan akses kepada komponen sumber daya seperti server, aplikasi, dan database melalui jaringan internet. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini, sumber daya akan disimpan dan dikelola di pusat data yang terhubung dengan internet. Cloud Computing memiliki banyak peran dalam dunia  pendidikan. Pemanfaatan cloud computing ini dapat menghemat biaya dan mencegah terjadinya penerapan teknologi yang rumit. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan cloud computing dalam dunia pendidikan adalah dalam penyimpanan file (data). Abstract

Abstract: As children's use of gadgets increases, effective parental supervision is becoming increasingly important to ensure children's digital safety and health. The purpose of this activity is to provide technical training on parental control through gadget use to children using the Google Family Links function when monitoring children's devices. This training program is designed to provide people with practical knowledge and skills. The method of this PkM activity is carried out in 2 ways, namely lectures that include theoretical sessions on the principles of parental control, followed by practical exercises on configuring settings using Google links. Furthermore, discussion and question and answer sessions are used to help parents provide solutions to the obstacles faced during the PkM activity. The evaluation results showed that training participants experienced a significant increase in their understanding and application of the child safety techniques taught. Surveys and interviews conducted with participants who took part in Community Service (PkM) in Teluk Dalam Village, showed that after taking the training they were able to better manage their children's device usage, including limiting device usage time and content supervision. With this training, namely using Google Family Links, it has significant benefits in improving parents' digital supervision skills and creating a safer and healthier digital environment for children. Keyword: parenting control; google family links; gadget monitoring; gadget Abstrak:  Seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan gadget oleh anak-anak, pengawasan orang tua yang efektif menjadi semakin penting untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kesehatan digital anak-anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pelatihan teknis tentang kontrol orang tua melalui penggunaan gadget kepada anak-anak dengan menggunakan fungsi Google Family Links saat memantau perangkat anak-anak. Program pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis kepada orang. Metode kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan 2 cara yakni ceramah yang mencakup sesi teori tentang prinsip-prinsip kontrol orang tua, diikuti dengan latihan praktis tentang mengonfigurasi pengaturan menggunakan tautan Google. Selanjutnya dilakukan sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab yang digunakan untuk membantu orang tua dalam memberikan solusi dari kendala yang dihadapi selama kegiatan PkM. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan penerapan teknik keselamatan anak yang diajarkan. Survei dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada peserta yang mengikuti Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di desa teluk dalam, menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti pelatihan mereka mampu mengelola penggunaan perangkat anak-anak mereka dengan lebih baik, termasuk membatasi waktu pemakaian perangkat dan pengawasan konten. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini yaitu menggunakan Google family Links memiliki manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengawasan digital orang tua dan menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman dan sehat bagi anak-anak. Kata kunci: parenting kontrol; google family links; pengawasan gadget; gadget

Abstract

Abstract: The internet has transformed not only data exchange through standard devices such as PCs, laptops, or smartphones, but also shifted to various tools in our surroundings. This concept is known as the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is defined as a system consisting of networks of sensors, actuators, and smart objects aimed at connecting all items, including everyday objects and those used in industry, making them intelligent, programmable, and capable of interacting with humans. IoT has been widely implemented in various sectors, such as smart cities, innovative healthcare, smart agriculture, smart education, and others. Introducing IoT at an early age, particularly in high schools, is essential, with the hope of fostering students' interest in this field. In this community service initiative, IoT technology was introduced at SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman, by delivering materials on IoT technology and its applications.Keywords: high school, IoT. Abstrak: Penggunaan internet telah mengalami transformasi, tidak hanya untuk pertukaran data melalui perangkat umum seperti PC, laptop, atau smartphone, tetapi juga beralih ke berbagai alat yang ada di sekitar kita. Konsep ini dikenal sebagai Internet of Things (IoT). IoT didefinisikan sebagai sistem yang terdiri dari jaringan sensor, aktuator, dan objek pintar yang bertujuan untuk menghubungkan semua barang, termasuk objek sehari-hari dan yang digunakan dalam industri, sehingga menjadikannya pintar, dapat diprogram, dan mampu berinteraksi dengan manusia. IoT telah banyak diterapkan di berbagai sektor, seperti kota pintar, kesehatan pintar, pertanian pintar, pendidikan pintar, dan bidang lainnya. Pengenalan IoT perlu dilakukan sejak dini, terutama di sekolah menengah atas, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan minat siswa untuk mendalami bidang ini. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini, dilakukan pengenalan teknologi IoT di SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman, melalui penyampaian materi tentang teknologi IoT dan aplikasinya.Kata kunci: IoT, SMA.

Abstract

The evaluation of regional research and innovation program proposals at the Regional Planning, Research, and Development Agency (BAPPERIDA) of Asahan Regency is still conducted manually, which may lead to subjectivity and inefficiency in the decision-making process. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to support the prioritization of regional research and innovation proposals. The study evaluates ten proposal alternatives based on five criteria: program relevance, innovation level, implementation potential, resource readiness, and budget feasibility. The criterion weights were determined through expert judgment involving five evaluators from BAPPERIDA. The MOORA method was applied to normalize the evaluation data, incorporate the criterion weights, and calculate the optimization value for each alternative. The results show that alternative A8, Gunting Saga (Gerakan Cegah Stunting Siap Siaga), obtained the highest optimization score of 0.2340, followed by A7 with 0.2097 and A3 with 0.2082. The results indicate that the proposed DSS can provide a structured ranking of regional research and innovation proposals based on predetermined criteria and weights. The system can support BAPPERIDA in evaluating proposals and determining priority programs in a more systematic and measurable manner.

Abstract

Akuarium air tawar banyak diminati oleh masyarakat karena memiliki daya tarik sendiri. Ketika harus meninggalkan rumah dalam waktu yang lama masyarakat yang memiliki kegemaran terhadap ikan hias di akuarium dan memiliki kesibukan cukup padat akan merasa kesulitan dalam merawat ikan. Terkadang padatnya kesibukan membuat kita sulit untuk melakukan pemeliharaan baik dari jernihnya air dan juga dari segi penerangan di aquarium. Alat ini menggunakan hardware berupa mikrokontroller ATMEGA 8535 sebagai pengontrol utama. Pembuangan dan pengisian air dikendalikan oleh pompa air yang berjalan berdasarkan ketinggian air yang diterima sensor ultrasonic SRF04. Sistem penjernih air dan penerangan aquarium secara otomatis merupakan suatu kebutuhan tambahan bagi orang yang memelihara ikan hias. Dari pengujian sistem yang dilakukan didapat hasil dimana sistem penjernih air berhasil dengan tingkat keberhasilan yang cukup tinggi, sehingga sistem ini menjamin kondisi air di aquarium akan selalu dalam keadaan bersih.
