Abstract

Teachers who are less innovative in learning methods have a big impact on students' understanding of the material that has been explained. What needs to be done is that teachers must prepare and determine various methods and media to achieve the expected learning objectives. This research aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method assisted by comics in class IV Indonesian language learning at Pajurangan State Elementary School and to find out how this CIRC method can help overcome problems for students in understanding new vocabulary material with the affix meng. This research uses a qualitative method which involves collecting data in the form of descriptions or explanations of a series of words that describe data findings found during research activities in the field. The data collection proses was carried out through observation, interviews whit class teacher, school principals, students, and documentation. Based on the results of research data, the planning process involves preparing teaching modules and learning media related to the CIRC method that will be applied. Regarding the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method assisted by comics in class IV Indonesian language learning at Pajurangan State Elementary School, it involves stages that are in accordance with the steps of the CIRC method. The evaluation shows that the application of the CIRC method can help students quickly understand the material in Indonesian language learning and also create fun learning.

Abstract

The research was conducted based on the background of low learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SDN Kalisalam 2 Probolinggo district where the intended students are grade II students, students activeness in learning that is lacking and not based on media, model, or methods of learning. For this reason, researchers conducted research aimed at activating student learning and improving student learning outcomes in the learning improvements carried out. This research uses the Classroom Action Research Method. This research has 2 cycles, of which each cycle has 2 meetings. Classroom action research has 4 stages, namely planning, activities, and reflection. Classroom Action Research method by collecting data through instruments in the form of tests to conduct assessments and test the achievement of competencies. So the use of Classroom Action Research methods will provide effective results. This research was conducted on February 08, 2025 to February 24, 2025 in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I there were 6 students out of 13 students who achieved learning completeness (46.15%), while in cycle II, the number of students who achieved learning completeness increased to 10 students out of 13 students (76.92%). With the increase in learning outcomes this occurred due to the application of media that was not only pictures, but included games that were able to make students excited about learning. The method used is the lecture method by using the Flat Building Board Bag (PABATAR) media. It can be concluded that the Flat Building Board Bag (PABATAR) media can improve the learning outcomes of grade II students of SDN Kalisalam 2 Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the low ability of students in understanding the syllable material of Indonesian language lessons and the lack of utilization of learning media. The purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of Audio Visual Media in the Indonesian language subject for class I SDN Kademangan 2 Probolinggo. This study uses the research and development method (Research & Development). The development model used in this study is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of research and development, it shows a percentage of 94% by learning material experts, by learning media experts 90%, Indonesian language learning practitioners with a percentage of 95%, and the results of the recapitulation of student responses with a percentage of 92%. The results concluded that the development of audio visual learning media based on the Canva application on the Syllable material in Indonesian language lessons developed using the ADDIE model is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Curriculum changes in Indonesia, especially the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, are an innovative step in an effort to improve the quality of 21st century education. One of its implementations is through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) which is designed to shape students' character according to Pancasila values. This study was motivated by the importance of understanding how P5 is implemented at the Elementary School level, especially in grade III which has just implemented the Independent Curriculum in the 2024/2025 academic year at SDN Kebonsari Kulon 1, Probolinggo City. This study aims to examine in depth the implementation process of P5, which includes aspects of preparation, implementation, and assessment. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The main data sources come from grade III teachers and the principal as key informants. The main focus of this study is on P5 activities with the theme "Local Wisdom" and the topic "This is my Batik, Where is your Batik?" which emphasizes the introduction of local mango batik culture to students. The results of the study showed that the preparation process was carried out collaboratively through the preparation of modules, discussions between teachers, and student involvement in designing project activities. The implementation of activities was effective through the stages of introduction, practice, and work presentation, involving resource persons from local craftsmen and active student participation. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of hybrid learning for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) students at Panca Marga University. Hybrid learning, which combines face-to-face and online instruction, addresses scheduling challenges faced by working students. Using a quantitative approach and survey methods, the study evaluates the impact of hybrid learning on learning flexibility, engagement, and academic outcomes. Results show that hybrid learning enhances flexibility, allows students to balance work and study, and improves learning outcomes by 15% compared to conventional methods. However, challenges such as internet dependence and digital fatigue remain significant. The study highlights the need for technological infrastructure and faculty training to optimize hybrid learning implementation.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue in Indonesia, with a national prevalence of 21.6 percent. Probolinggo Regency in East Java also records a high prevalence rate, reaching 17.3 percent. The main factors contributing to stunting are limited access to health services and nutrition. The Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) plays a crucial role in prevention efforts but faces challenges in management and cadre skills, particularly in data recording and nutritional status measurement. Jabung Sisir Village in Probolinggo Regency was selected as the community partner for empowerment through a program of Posyandu digitalization and cadre capacity building. The aim of this activity is to improve cadre literacy on stunting and to provide an effective digital reporting system to support prevention and control efforts. The implementation method consisted of cadre training on stunting literacy, anthropometric techniques, effective communication, and the use of a web- and Android-based Posyandu Information System. The program was followed by cadre mentoring as well as evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, and periodic monitoring. The results showed an increase in cadre knowledge, anthropometric measurement skills, and the ability to use digital systems for data recording and reporting. These findings highlight that Posyandu digitalization can strengthen cadre capacity in stunting prevention while serving as an innovative model for enhancing community-based health services.

Abstract

Learning with technology content, including computer science or informatics, is a very crucial topic at this time. Unfortunately, there are still many schools that have not adapted to this digitalization culture. There are many factors behind schools not starting a digitalization culture, such as facilities and infrastructure and human resources that are not ready yet. One school that has not implemented digitalization in learning is SDN Kedungdalem. This school still does not have digital-based learning media, most of the learning activities are carried out using books and worksheets. This situation makes students not excited about learning because it is not interesting for students. The aim of this research is to analyze the description of the results of students' academic responses to ICT learning and educational games that have been given. The research method used in this activity is a qualitative approach with rural operations. The subjects of this research were 5th grade students at SDN Kedungdalem. The research results showed that students really liked the educational games provided because the games were funny, exciting and fun.

Abstract

The decline in creative thinking among elementary students presents a challenge to 21st-century education, particularly in systems dominated by rote learning. While inquiry-based learning fosters cognitive engagement and gamification enhances motivation, few instructional models integrate both to support creativity development. This study aimed to design, validate, and evaluate the INGAME model (Inquiry Model with Gamification Elements), which combines structured inquiry processes with game-based mechanics to enhance students’ creative thinking. Using the ADDIE framework, the model was developed through a research and development (RD) approach involving expert validation, teacher assessment, and classroom implementation. Data were collected from 23 fifth-grade students and analyzed through descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Expert validation rated the INGAME model as very valid (M = 90.16%), and teacher assessments confirmed its practicality (M = 82%). Implementation results showed significant improvements in students’ creative thinking based on Torrance’s four indicators—fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration—with an average gain score of +1.13. Student engagement remained high throughout the model’s eight gamified inquiry phases, with observation data showing an average engagement level of 85.8%. The INGAME model demonstrates that integrating inquiry with gamification can foster creativity by aligning cognitive challenge with intrinsic motivation. It offers a structured, scalable, and teacher-friendly approach to cultivating creativity in elementary education while supporting broader educational reforms aligned with SDG 4.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis Mobile Augmented Reality (AR) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif guna meningkatkan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang meliputi tahapan: penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba, revisi produk, serta implementasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumbertaman 2 Kota Probolinggo yang menjadi pengguna utama media AR. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, serta tes literasi digital yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan multimedia AR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Mobile AR yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital siswa, ditandai dengan peningkatan skor yang signifikan pada aspek pemahaman dan keterampilan digital pada materi luas daerah bangun datar. Selain itu, siswa dan guru memberikan respons positif terhadap penggunaan media ini sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Kesimpulannya, multimedia berbasis Mobile Augmented Reality dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam mendukung pembelajaran literasi digital pada materi luas daerah bangun datar di sekolah dasar. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

his paper aims to discuss the implementation of independent learning curriculum-based teaching modules. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach. Analysis of this research data using descriptive analysis. In this analysis, the data is interpreted descriptively and presented in a narrative manner. The results of the teaching module research are implemented at UPT SD Negeri 323 Gresik which is an independent curriculum body which is a substitute for lesson plans. The independent curriculum teaching module is a substitute for lesson plans which are formatted and varied in nature which includes learning material/content, learning methods, interpretation, and evaluation techniques which are arranged in a systematic and riveting manner to achieve the expected indicators of success. The teacher develops teaching modules before carrying out learning in the classroom. One of the functions of the teaching module is to reduce the teacher's burden in presenting content so that the teacher can have a lot of time to become a tutor and help students in the learning process.
