Abstract

Studi ini diarahkan untuk menghasilkan sarana ajar digital interaktif melalui Articulate Storyline yang layak, mudah diterapkan, serta mampu menunjang penguatan kemampuan bernalar kritis murid kelas IV pada topik gaya gesek dalam muatan IPAS. Riset ini menerapkan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) memakai kerangka ADDIE, yakni analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Kegiatan riset berlangsung di SDN Curahsawo dengan melibatkan murid kelas IV sebagai partisipan. Informasi yang dibutuhkan dihimpun melalui pengamatan, tanya jawab, lembar penilaian pakar, formulir tanggapan murid, serta evaluasi capaian belajar. Temuan riset memperlihatkan produk yang disusun meraih skor kelayakan sebesar 91,6% dari pakar materi dan 96,8% dari pakar media dengan klasifikasi sangat layak. Aspek kemudahan penggunaan memperoleh nilai 96,8% dan termasuk dalam klasifikasi sangat mudah diterapkan, sedangkan pengujian keberhasilan menunjukkan capaian ketuntasan belajar sebesar 100%. Mengacu pada perolehan tersebut, sarana ajar digital interaktif melalui Articulate Storyline dapat dikategorikan memenuhi aspek kelayakan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan keberhasilan penerapan, sehingga pantas dimanfaatkan untuk menguatkan kemampuan bernalar kritis murid dalam pembelajaran IPAS topik gaya gesek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis Assemblr Edu yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid. Selain itu pada penelitian ini menghasilkan buku panduan penggunaan untuk mengakses media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis Assemblr Edu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Pada model ADDIE terdapat 5 tahapan yaitu: Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Penerapan), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan murid kelas V SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument pengumpulan data berupa angket yang akan dinilai oleh validator ahli materi, validator ahli media dan guru kelas. Selain itu juga indikator perolehan nilai murid yang digunakan sebagai pengukuran efektifitas media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) Berbasis Assemblr Edu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kevalidan media berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 92,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Rata-rata tingkat kevalidan media mencapai 93,75% sehingga media dinyatakan sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan media memperoleh persentase sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Adapun hasil keefektifan menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 100% dengan nilai rata-rata 86,38% dan termasuk dalam kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran Augmented Reality berbasis Assemblr Edu dinyatakan sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi siklus air untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid kelas V SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Augmented Reality berbasis Assemblr Edu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi siklus air kelas V di SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan media pembelajaran ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar menjadi lebih menarik dan inovatif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Pop Up Book yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid kelas III pada pembelajaran IPAS materi metamorfosis di SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis murid serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih terbatas dan kurang menarik sehingga murid kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan meliputi indikator interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, evaluasi, eksplanasi, dan regulasi diri menurut Facione. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Penerapan), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu murid kelas III SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Pop Up Book memiliki tingkat kevalidan sangat valid dengan rata-rata 96,65%. Media juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test dari 55,12% menjadi 86,43% pada post-test dengan ketuntasan 100%. Selain itu, media memperoleh tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 99,41% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, media Pop Up Book layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Pop Up Book dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis murid pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi metamorfosis kelas III di SDN Sukoharjo 4 Kota Probolinggo. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan media pembelajaran ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar menjadi lebih menarik dan inovatif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Bridging arithmetic and algebra remains a persistent challenge in mathematics education, largely due to students’ operational interpretations of the equal sign and fragmented coordination of representations. Existing instructional approaches often emphasize procedural fluency without systematically supporting the relational understanding required to connect these domains. This study aims to develop and examine a relational instructional trajectory that functions as a conceptual bridge between arithmetic and early algebra. Using a Didactical Design Research (DDR) approach, the study involved 29 fifth-grade students from an elementary school in East Java, including five students in a pilot experiment and twenty-four students in a teaching experiment. The “Jembatan Aritmatika (Arithmetic Bridge)” e-module was designed based on an initial analysis of students’ learning obstacles, particularly in understanding equality and symbolic representations. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, questionnaires, classroom observations, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis combined qualitative analysis of students’ reasoning patterns with quantitative comparisons of pre- and post-intervention performance. The findings indicate a shift from procedural and counting-based strategies toward relational reasoning. Students increasingly interpreted the equal sign as expressing equivalence and demonstrated improved coordination of symbolic and contextual representations in solving early algebraic tasks. This study contributes a relational Local Instructional Theory (LIT) that specifies a progressive learning trajectory—from contextual and visual representations to symbolic reasoning—and explicit didactical anticipations for bridging arithmetic and algebra, grounded in empirically identified learning obstacles.

Abstract

The instruction of the Indonesian language for primary school kids necessitates teaching approaches and media that align with the developmental features of the students. Initial observations in grade II of SDN Sumberkare 2 revealed that student learning outcomes in fable text materials are inadequate, student engagement and participation in learning are suboptimal, and the learning method remains predominantly teacher-centered. This study seeks to elucidate the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) paradigm utilizing Big Book media and to assess the enhancement of student learning results in fable text resources. The study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) methodology, executed in two cycles comprising the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research participants comprised 15 second-grade pupils from SDN Sumberkare 2. Data collecting methods are executed via observation, testing, and documenting, whilst data analysis employs both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The study's results indicate that the implementation of the PJBL paradigm with Big Book media enhances student learning outcomes in Indonesian fable text content. The mean score of students rose from 64.8 in the initial cycle to 76.33 in the subsequent cycle, while the learning completeness improved from 33.33% to 100%. Furthermore, students' engagement and involvement in the learning process were enhanced through reading, discussion, puppet creation, and role-playing. The implementation of the PJBL paradigm with Big Book media has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing the academic performance of second-grade students at SDN Sumberkare 2.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN Liprak Kidul I through the development of Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based instructional video media on the human skeletal system. The research was motivated by several learning problems, including low student achievement, limited availability of attractive teaching materials, monotonous learning activities, and the lack of interactive media that could encourage active student participation. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research procedures included needs analysis, product design, media development, expert validation, product revision, product trials, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were sixth-grade students at SDN Liprak Kidul I. The instruments used included media and material expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and student learning outcome tests. The results showed that the developed instructional video media had a high level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Media expert validation obtained a score of 94%, while material expert validation reached 95%, indicating that the media was highly feasible for use in learning. Teacher and student responses also showed very positive results, with scores of 93.75% and 95.45%, respectively. The use of PBL-based instructional video media increased students’ attention, engagement, and motivation during the learning process. In addition, the media effectively improved students’ understanding and learning outcomes related to the human skeletal system. Therefore, this media is considered feasible, practical, and effective for IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Educaplay-based educational game for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject specifically the topic of "energy around us" for third-grade students at SDN Bulang 1, and to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. The study was motivated by low student learning outcomes, a lack of instructional media usage, and a teaching process that remained teacher-centered. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results indicate that the developed Educaplay-based educational game achieved a very high level of validity, with validation scores of 92% from the subject matter expert and 95% from the media expert. The media's practicality was also rated very highly, with a 100% score from the class teacher and a 94.8% positive response from students. Furthermore, effectiveness testing showed an improvement in student learning outcomes; the average pretest score rose from 61.12 to 90.54 in the posttest, yielding an N-Gain score of 0.76, which falls into the high category. Based on these results, the Educaplay-based educational game is deemed highly valid, highly practical, and effective for use in third-grade IPAS instruction on the topic of energy around us.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IV SDN Gili Ketapang III pada materi siklus daur hidup melalui model Problem Based Learning. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 siswa dengan inisial sebagai identitas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dan setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, serta refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Pada pra siklus, nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 55,20 dengan ketuntasan 0%. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 67,67 dengan ketuntasan 33,33%. Setelah perbaikan tindakan pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77,60 dengan ketuntasan 86,67%. Peningkatan terjadi karena siswa dilibatkan dalam memahami masalah, berdiskusi, melakukan penyelidikan sederhana, dan menyampaikan hasil. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi siklus daur hidup.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) develop a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with coding activities that aligns with the learning characteristics of elementary school students, (2) examine the validity of the developed model through expert evaluations, and (3) investigate its effectiveness in improving students’ digital literacy. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE framework, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The study was conducted in a fifth-grade classroom at SDN Ambulu II. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to interpret the data, while the N-Gain index measured improvements in students’ digital literacy. The results indicated that the coding-integrated PjBL model was highly feasible, with validity scores of 95% from material experts and 95.8% from media experts. Practitioners rated the model’s practicality at 95%, while student responses reached 99%, indicating high acceptance. The effectiveness analysis produced an N-Gain score of 0.76, categorized as high, demonstrating a significant improvement in students’ digital literacy. These findings suggest that the coding-integrated Project-Based Learning model is valid, practical, and effective for supporting elementary school IPAS learning and enhancing students’ digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of coding learning as part of a digital learning culture in Grade V at SD Negeri Ambulu II, Probolinggo Regency. The study focuses on the planning, implementation, assessment system, interaction patterns between teachers, students, and technology, as well as the challenges encountered during implementation. A qualitative approach with a descriptive research design was employed. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Grade V teacher, and students. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that coding learning was implemented systematically through integrated planning, implementation, and assessment supported by digital technology. Teachers utilized digital learning media and project-based learning to enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy. Coding learning also fostered more active, communicative, and collaborative interactions between teachers and students, contributing to the development of a digital learning culture within the school. Furthermore, it promoted students’ independent learning, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to technological advancements. However, several challenges remained, including limited technological facilities, teachers’ readiness to manage digital learning, and differences in students’ abilities to understand coding concepts. Overall, coding learning represents an innovative instructional strategy that supports the strengthening of digital learning culture and the development of essential twenty-first-century competencies in elementary school students.
