Abstract

Based on the initial data obtained by students of class IX.1 SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Baru, it can be seen that their learning outcomes are still far from expectations, student learning completeness is still below 50% and student learning motivation is still very low. This is likely due to the lack of variety in the approaches and learning methods used by teachers in implementing the learning process. This study aims to determine and test the extent to which the application of the contextual learning approach can improve the learning outcomes of students of class IX.1 SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Baru. This type of research is classroom action research. The objects of this study were students of class IX.1 SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Baru totaling 26 people. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques, observation sheets, questionnaires and field notes, then the data obtained were described and analyzed using comparative descriptive analysis techniques for quantitative data. Comparative descriptions were carried out by comparing the results of daily tests starting from the initial conditions of cycle 1 and cycle 2 values, while qualitative descriptive analysis was guided by the results of observations and reflections for each cycle. The findings of this study indicate that using a contextual learning approach in class IX.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Baru has been proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes. This can be proven from 26 students, in cycle I 18 people or 71.5% completed and in cycle II increased to 21 people or 82.3%. Thus it can be concluded that using a contextual learning approach can significantly improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Green Chemistry memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kesadaran lingkungan dan sikap berkelanjutan pada calon guru kimia. Namun, implementasinya di perguruan tinggi sering terkendala oleh keterbatasan bahan ajar yang kontekstual, interaktif, dan mampu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berorientasi Sustainable Project-Based Learning (S-PjBL) berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) pada materi Green Chemistry untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia di salah satu LPTK di Aceh. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi ahli materi dan media, angket respons pengguna, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi dengan persentase rata-rata validasi ahli materi sebesar 92,5% dan ahli media sebesar 91,8%. Uji kepraktisan melalui respons dosen dan mahasiswa menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa modul S-PjBL berbantuan AR layak dan praktis, digunakan dalam pembelajaran Green Chemistry di tingkat perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Generation Z is a group that grows along with the development of digital technology, so social media has become an important part of their lives. Social media is not only used as a means of communication and entertainment, but also as a space to build and display self-identity, including in the aspect of religiosity. However, the intensity of social media use often causes various psychological problems. The urge to conform to evolving trends, the desire to gain social recognition, and the habit of comparing oneself to other users have the potential to trigger stress, anxiety, and a decrease in confidence. On the other hand, the existence of religious content on social media can function as a source of inner peace, spiritual reflection, and strengthening religious values. This study uses a qualitative approach to examine in depth the influence of social media on lifestyle, mental health conditions, and the process of forming spiritual identity in Generation Z. The results of the study show that social media has an ambivalent role, namely as a factor that can cause psychological pressure as well as a medium that supports spiritual growth. An individual's ability to filter and interpret digital content is a key factor in maintaining a balance between psychological well-being and spirituality in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Community Empowerment Through Soft-Shell Crab Farming as an Effort to Improve the Economy and Welfare (A Case Study of the Sumber Rezeki and Bangka Pulo Groups in Alur Nunang Village, Banda Mulia Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency).” The study aims to understand the empowerment process carried out by the Sumber Rezeki and Bangka Pulo groups, as well as how soft-shell crab farming contributes to improving the economy and welfare of coastal communities. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving key informants, main informants, and additional informants. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the community empowerment process was implemented through several stages: potential identification, alternative assessment, socialization and group formation, training and knowledge transfer, collective implementation of farming activities, and institutional strengthening and evaluation. This empowerment process has successfully increased household income, expanded employment opportunities, and strengthened social solidarity among group members. The success of the program was supported by social network cooperation, assistance from the NGO KEMPRA, and the sustainable use of local ecological resources. Therefore, community empowerment through soft-shell crab farming has proven not only to improve the economic condition of coastal communities but also to build independence and ecological awareness that support socio-economic sustainability in Alur Nunang Village.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kondisi stunting pada balita merupakan terjadinya kegagalan pertumbuhan akibat akumulasi minimnya nutrisi. Program Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) merupakan salah satu program pemerintah untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kesehatan khususnya ibu dan balita. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Posyandu Teratai, Kelurahan Palam, yang selama ini rutin melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan balita sebatas pengukuran antropometri dan imunisasi. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan ibu terkait masalah gizi buruk pada anak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dalam mencegah stunting melalui program SKALTing (sosialisasi, konseling dan aksi lapangan untuk stunting). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi penyuluhan gizi mengenai stunting serta pelaksanaan pengukuran antropometri (tinggi/panjang dan berat badan) bayi dan balita di Posyandu. Target audiens dari inisiatif ini adalah para ibu yang memiliki bayi dan balita di wilayah Kelurahan Palam. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, evaluasi dan observasi kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan, terlihat dari tingkat partisipasi yang sesuai target dan antusiasme peserta yang signifikan selama pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait stunting.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sangat penting karena merupakan inti dari pembelajaran matematika. Pada kegiatan sehari-hari, siswa bukan hanya diharuskan menghafal rumus, namun harus juga bisa menerapkan konsep matematika dalam memecahkan situasi nyata, berpikir logis, dan mengambil keputusan yang rasional. Penelitian ini ditujukan dalam mengetahui pengaruh model PBL pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis Pre Experimental dengan tipe Intact Group Comparison. Populasi penelitian ini ialah semua siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Langsa sebanyak 80 orang. Yang terdistribusi pada tiga kelas yakni kelas A 30 siswa, kelas B 25 siswa, serta kelas C 25 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui tes dan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan uji t. Pada hasil penelitian, didapati bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Maka, bisa disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL mempunyai pengaruh pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Langsa, sebagaimana terlihat dari proses pembelajaran serta hasil tes post-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol.

Abstract

The increasing exposure of students to digital influences has raised concerns about the weakening of religious character in elementary education. Grounded in Thorndike’s learning theory and Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, this study examines how habituation and modeling contribute to the internalization of religious values at Sekolah Rendah Integritas Teras Islam (SRITI) Al-Qawwam. Previous studies have mainly focused on routine practices without exploring the integration of habituation and modeling within a structured system adapted to students’ developmental stages. This study employed a descriptive qualitative design involving a principal, two teachers, and two students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that religious values are internalized through structured daily activities such as greetings, congregational prayers, tahfidz, cleanliness practices, and qailullah. These are implemented based on students’ developmental levels and reinforced through teacher modeling. The integration of repetitive practices and observable behaviors fosters discipline, responsibility, and spiritual awareness. This study highlights the synergy between behaviorist and social cognitive approaches and emphasizes the importance of structured habituation supported by teacher modeling in developing sustainable religious character.
