Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations made by researchers and then found the problems that existed in Pembina Karawang State Kindergarten, namely the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years were still low, such as the low ability of children to recognize letter symbols, mention the letters of clouds from an object, classifying sounds and letters, and write letter symbols. Based on these problems, researchers provide solutions to develop paper plate media to improve early childhood literacy skills. This study aims to determine whether paper plate media has an effect on increasing literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years in Pembina Karawang State Kindergarten. This research is an experimental quantitative research. The subjects in this study were students of group B2. The results of this study prove that paper plate media has an effect on the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years in Pembina Karawang State Kindergarten. This can be seen in the results of the t test or hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing in this study shows that the results tcount > ttable (12,244 > 1,734) which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these results, there is a difference between the average pretest and posttest, therefore there is a significant influence on the use of paper plate media with the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years

Abstract

Based on the initial observations made by the authors regarding the problems contained in TKQ Salsabila, namely the prosocial abilities of children aged 5-6 years who have not been able to take turns playing, sharing, and helping peers and teachers in the classroom. From the above phenomenon to improve children's prosocial skills, the author develops media innovation through Kinds Rubber Rope Games (KIORROGA). Kinds Rubber Rope Games aims to provide a choice of media variations made from rubber bands that can also train children's fine motor skills. This study uses an experimental method through the design of The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design (Arikunto, 2010) with a sample of elementary school students in the Early Childhood category at the age of Kindergarten B1 (n = 19) determined based on Cluster Random Sampling conducted for 8 meetings in group B TKQ Salsabila. The results showed that Kinds Rubber Rope Games (KIORROGA) media. effective in improving the prosocial abilities of children in Salsabila Kindergarten

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat  dimaksudkan untuk membantu masyarakat, khususnya daerah-daerah yang membutuhkan bantuan dalam pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi daerah tersebut serta meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir, bersikap dan bertindak agar sesuai dengan program pembangunan. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut, maka Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) telah menetapkan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai salah satu mata kegiatan yang harus dilakukan setiap tahunnya. Paper plate atau piring ulang tahun merupakan bahan utama yang digunakan. Dengan tujuan untuk memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman bagi guru-guru PAUD, serta memberikan bekal kemampuan untuk mengembangkan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam pembuatan media paper plate. Selain itu penggunaan paper plate juga diharapkan dapat mengurangi limbah barang sekali pakai.

Abstract

Learning activities with the storytelling method is a learning process that teachers try to develop children’s language skills. Storytelling can foste courage in children by continuing to provide stimulation from direct experience that involves children in learning activities, so it is necessary to prepare storytelling themes so that learning is more creative. The benefits of storytelling are that it helps children’s ability tio listen, children’s imagination power is trained, adds a sense of joy, children will be active and dare to appear in learning. Storytelling is one of the ways children communicate with their peers. The problem in this study is that the child has not paid attention to the words of others, has not been able to understand the contents of the reading that is told, the child has not retold the story that has been heard. This study aims to describe the implementation of language skills through the storytelling method for early childhood friends. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews, documentation. The results of data analysis show the implementation. The results of data analysis show the implementations of the storytelling method in improving children’s language, namely by making lesson plans that can make teaching, directing and educating and stimulating, motivating, by setting a good example to children so that they have language skills and can increase children’s self-confidence

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to count 4 - 5 years old children with snakes and ladders in group A PAUD Dahlia. The method used in this research is collaborative classroom action research using Kemmis and Mc Taggart's models. CAR is implemented as an effort to overcome problems that arise in the classroom. Method is carried out in four stages, are planning, action, implementation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were students of group A PAUD Dahlia, ten (n=10) children. The object of this study is the ability to count 4 - 5 years old children. Data collection method used is observation. Technical data analysis was done in a descriptive qualitative and quantitative manner. The established success indicator is that at least 75% of 10 children reach the counting ability. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the study indicate that the numeracy skill has increased. Increased numeracy skills can be seen from the indicator ability to count objects 1-10, recognize the concept of numbers, recognize symbols 1-10, mention symbols 1-10, matching numbers with symbol numbers. Increased numeracy skills of children aged 4-5 years with snakes and ladders in the implementation of pre-action 31, 5%, and in the first cycle increased to 51.5%, because it is still less than the success criteria that should be carried out then the next action is cycle II and increased greatly good by getting a percentage of 85%. Many games for children was suggested for increase numeracy skills.

Abstract

This research is conducted to improve children's confidence in TK Sayang Ibu, Bekasi. This research uses action research method. The research subjects consisted of 8 boys and 12 girls, the research procedure is carried out in 2 cycles with 3 meetings in each cycle. The result shows that the kucing dan tikus game can increase the confidence of children of group A in TK Sayang Ibu. The increment happens from first cycle  53,43% to second cycle  77,5%

Abstract

Based on observations of language development in early childhood which is less than optimal in expressive language abilities. This research aims to investigate and determine the influence of pop up book media to improve expressive language skills in children aged 3-4 years at KB Mawar VII Karawang. The development of expressive language includes being able to convey what children feel, telling stories about simple experiences with simple sentences and answering questions. In this writing, the author uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method by carrying out two cycles with a target result of 71%. This research is shown on children's expressive language abilities. In the pre-action, children's expressive language abilities obtained an average percentage score of 28.5%. Furthermore, when the first cycle of action was carried out, the child's expressive language abilities increased to reach a percentage value of 46.6%. It is known that there has been an increase in cycle I but has not yet reached the target. Therefore, the researchers carried out cycle II actions and in this action the children's expressive language abilities increased with a percentage value of 85.5%. This states that this research is said to be successful because it can achieve the expected targets.

Abstract

The ability to collaborate through the project method is one effort to stimulate learning that is done together. This research aims to improve cooperation skills through the project method in children aged 5-6 years in Ra Mathla'ul Anwar Telukambulu Karawang. In this writing, the author uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in 2 cycles. The results show that children's cooperation through this project method can improve well. It is known that in the pre-action period, children's cooperative abilities obtained an average value of 27.5%, then continued with action cycle I, which obtained an average value of 51.3%, showing improved results but not yet reaching the target and continued in cycle II which obtained the average value of 83.7% shows very good improvement results. Researchers assess that this research has achieved success because it has exceeded the predetermined limit of 75%.

Abstract

Teacher-led ball games have a significant impact on the enhancement of gross motor skills in early childhood students. The early childhood phase is a critical period for the development of these skills, and teachers play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. This article employs quantitative research methods to investigate how teacher-led ball games can influence the growth of gross motor skills in young children. The research also underscores the significance of structured games in supporting motor skill development and providing an enjoyable and effective teaching approach, particularly for young students. The study's findings highlight that teachers can serve as facilitators in nurturing the gross motor skills of young children through ball games. Early childhood motor skills are of utmost importance as they encompass aspects such as neural, muscular, and cognitive abilities. Additionally, the teaching methodology implemented by teachers fosters an engaging and captivating learning experience, capturing the enthusiastic participation of students in the classroom
