Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan apakah media busybook berpengaruhi dalam kemampuan anak untuk memahami pengenalan identitas gender sejak dini. pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TKQ An-Namlu Palumbonsari Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental dan pretest posttest group desaign, menggunakan sampel 8 anak dikelompok A dan menggunakan 8 kali treatment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Busybook mempengaruhi kemampuan pengenalan identitas gender pada anak usia dini. Media busybook merupakan media yang digunakan dalam proses pengajaran selama peneliti menyampaikan informasi tentang pengenalan identitas gender pada anak usia dini. Dilihat dari jumlah skor rata-rata pada pretest 26,5. dan skor rata-rata pada posttest 48.12 selain itu, seperti dapat dilihat dari temuan tabel T-test sampel berpasangan, nilai T yang dihitung adalah 5.689 dengan sig (0.001) maka dari itu data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media busybook sangat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pengenalan identitas gender pada anak usia 4 sampai 5 tahun.

Abstract

Temper tantrum merupakan ganguan emosional atau ledakan emosi yang terjadi pada siswa AF di RA Sabilul Muttaqin Cikampek. Tetapi hal tersebut wajar terjadi karna pada umur tersebut anak masih mengenal emosi dalam dirinya dan mencoba belajar mengungkapkan apa yang ia rasakan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada sumber data primer yaitu kepada anak yang mengalami temper tantrum, guru, dan orang tua dan data sekunder dokumen-dokumen, artikel, dan  buku terkait tantrum dan komukasi persuasif. Hasil dari observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di RA Sabilul Muttaqin dengan subjek penelitian satu orang anak berinisial AF, menyatakan bahwa anak yang mengalami tantrum disebabkan karna kepergian ibunya yang bekerja sebagai asisten rumah tangga di luar kota sehingga anak merasa kekurangan kasih sayang dari seorang ibu. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh guru dan orang tua adalah dengan melakukan pendekatan persuasif dengan cara berangsur-angsur sehingga anak mau berbicara apa yang dia rasakan dan inginkan.

Abstract

Parents are the main and initial teachers for their children, the job of parents at home is to help their children learn and grow optimally. However, in this day and age, many parents work, which means that children's development, especially cognitive ones, are less stimulated. This research aims to determine the motivation of parents in choosing the Great Children's Tutoring Institute (AHE) as an additional educational institution for their children. This research uses a qualitative approach with narrative descriptive methods, in-depth data collection for this research uses purposive sampling techniques, research data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that parents' motivation in choosing AHE is (a) the need to do something for activities, (b) the need to achieve results, namely achievement, and (c) the need to overcome difficulties. Parents believe that AHE provides quality learning services and effective learning methods, a positive and interactive learning environment and special programs for orphans are additional attractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah media permainan bakiak di TKQ An-Namlu Karawang mempengaruhi kemampuan kerjasama anak usia dini. Satu pretest, delapan perlakuan, dan satu posttest digunakan dalam prosedur eksperimental penelitian ini dengan ukuran sampel 10 anak dalam kelompok B. Studi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan bakiak ini mempengaruhi kapasitas anak-anak untuk kerjasama. Terlihat dari rata-rata skor pretest 36,5 dan skor posttest 56,9, serta nilai T-hitung 44.571 dengan sig (0,000), bahwa kemampuan kerjasama siswa RA usia 5 sampai 6 tahun sangat dipengaruhi oleh permainan tradisional bakiak di TKq An-Namlu. Permainan ini merancang pengetahuan ketika bekerja sama, mampu memahami perasaan senang, dan sifat bertanggung jawab untuk membina kerjasama dan interaksi antar teman. Hal ini didasarkan pada permainan bakiak tradisional, yang digunakan untuk memprioritaskan hal-hal yang bertanggung jawab, gotong royong, dan interaksi dalam menyelesaikan tugas bersama.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the magnetic board media at TKIT An Najma North Cikarang can influence the early literacy of early childhood children aged 5-6 years. This research uses a classroom action research method that refers to Kemmis and Mc Taggart, whose process consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. This research started from pre-action, continued with cycle I then ended with cycle II. In cycle I there were seven meetings, while in cycle II there were six meetings. In this study, the subjects were 10 group B children consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis is to see the percentage of success, while qualitative data analysis is to explain the research results. As a result of this research, it has been proven that there is an improvement in children after using magnetic board media. The pre-action percentage results were 14%, cycle I 52% and cycle II 74%. Therefore, magnetic board media influences the early literacy of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT An Najma, North Cikarang.

Abstract

The challenge of implementing learning from home (BDR) during the COVID-19 pandemic at the early childhood level is that the focus of learning is no longer to stimulate 5 aspects of early childhood development but to focus on cognitive aspects. In addition, the BDR phenomenon also results in high screentime activity in children and makes children lazy to do gross motor skills or gross motoric activities. Therefore, an idea emerged from the proposer team through a community service grant to the community of Singapernagsa Karawang University to propose workshop activities for making CB Hoop Multisize learning media in increasing interest in learning in children through activities during the COVID-19 pandemic for PAUD teachers in Karawang Regency. The multisized card board hoop is an innovative learning media in the form of an educational game tool (APE) which has a shape resembling a hula hoop. The novelty of this learning media is that the Multisize CB Hoop is made from used goods in the form of cardboard that is printed to resemble a hula hoop. CB Hoop Multisize has four types of diameter 8, 35, 50 and 70 centimeters. Playing activities that can be done using CB Hoop Multi Size media include jumping, relay running, creeping, throwing, catching and other gross motor activities. This PKM activity was successfully held on November 15, 2020 with 500 participants consisting of early childhood teachers in Karawang Regency.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of using congklak on the ability to understand number concepts among children aged 4–5 years at RA Al-Madinah Jakarta. The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 13 children were selected using purposive sampling based on age and cognitive readiness criteria. The research instrument was a number concept ability test covering four aspects: counting objects, rote counting, associating numbers with quantities, and comparing quantities. Data analysis involved normality and linearity tests, followed by a simple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that the data were normally distributed and the relationship between variables was linear. The regression test showed a significance value (p) = 0.006 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the congklak game on children's number concept understanding. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.515, meaning that 51.5% of the variation in the dependent variable was explained by the independent variable. These findings demonstrate that congklak is an effective learning medium that supports the enhancement of children's number concept skills in a joyful and meaningful way. Therefore, traditional games such as congklak deserve to be considered as alternative instructional media in early childhood mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of YouTube viewing intensity and content type on the language politeness of children aged 5–6 years in Sirnabaya Village, Karawang Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an Ex Post Facto design and involved 68 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using validated questionnaires covering three variables: YouTube viewing intensity (X1), type of YouTube content (X2), and language politeness (Y). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption tests including normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The results showed that variable X1 had a positive and significant effect on language politeness (Sig. = 0.007), while variable X2 had a negative and significant effect on language politeness (Sig. = 0.001). The regression equation obtained was Y = 88.075 + 0.357X1 – 0.348X2. The simultaneous test (F-test) indicated that both variables jointly had a significant effect on Y, with a significance value of 0.001 and an F-value of 12.116, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.138. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.272) showed that 27.2% of the variation in language politeness could be explained by the intensity and type of YouTube content, while the remaining 72.8% was influenced by other factors such as parenting style, social environment, and other digital media. These findings highlight the importance of parental supervision regarding the duration and type of content children watch to ensure the resulting impact is positive. Early digital literacy education is also crucial in shaping polite language behavior in children.
