Abstract

Child-centered education is very necessary for Early Childhood Education (PAUD). The ability to read and write must be possessed by children as early as possible. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research are that children enjoy playing with their projects with the teacher stimulating them with open questions, so that every day the children want to write words according to the projects they make. Each child makes a different project so that the words written by the children are also different, in other words, children's literacy increases and increases by knowing new words from the projects they make. So project-based learning can increase children's literacy by adding new words and writing according to the child's abilities and thinking power to make the project fun for the child.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the role of parents in supporting a child's preparation for primary school. The study uses a qualitative approach, data collection is carried out through observations and interviews as well as documentation studies of 50 parents living in the city of Bekasi. Data analysis in this study was carried out using Miles and Huberman's approach. The findings of this study suggest that parents play a role in preparing the child's physical factors such as health, hygiene and balance before entering primary school. Parents also play a role in providing cognitive support so that the child is ready to solve problems that will be encountered on a daily basis. In terms of language, parents have a role to play in providing a language rich environment, providing opportunities to speak and listen appropriately and involving children in activities that support language development. Emotional readiness includes the child's ability to manage their own emotions, have intrinsic motivation and be able to cope with stress or anxiety. It is important to remember that a child's readiness to learn can vary greatly from individual to individual. Each child has a different rate of development and may require appropriate approaches to facilitate their readiness to learn.

Abstract

Bermain outdoor merupakan salah satu permainan yang dapat menstimulasi pada perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak usia dini. Perkembangan motorik merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus diperhatikan pada anak usia dini, perkembangan motorik sering dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur untuk membuktikan bahwa anak tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui strategi aktivitas di luar ruangan terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak usia dini dan apa saja dampak bermain di luar ruangan terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur, mencari, menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dampak bermain di luar ruangan memberikan dampak positif yang signitif bagi perkembangan fisik motorik anak, karena aktivitas di luar ruangan melibatkan banyak gerakan tubuh, seperti berlari, melompat, dan memanjat yang membantu meningkatkan kebugaran fisik pada anak usia dini. Dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Bentuk-bentuk kegiatan bermain outdoor meliputi permainan di luar ruangan yang mengembangkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini. (2) Dampak kegiatan bermain outdoor dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar. (3) Faktor pendukung dalam mengimplementasikan kegiatan bermain outdoor untuk mengembangkan motorik kasar dengan semangatnya anak-anak mengikuti pembelajaran dengan antusias, selain itu juga motivasi dari kepala sekolah dan guru untuk mencapai tujuan bersama, sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam mengimplementasikan kegiatan bermain outdoor untuk mengembangkan motorik kasar adalah halaman yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat  dimaksudkan untuk membantu masyarakat, khususnya daerah-daerah yang membutuhkan bantuan dalam pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi daerah tersebut serta meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir, bersikap dan bertindak agar sesuai dengan program pembangunan. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut, maka Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) telah menetapkan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai salah satu mata kegiatan yang harus dilakukan setiap tahunnya. Paper plate atau piring ulang tahun merupakan bahan utama yang digunakan. Dengan tujuan untuk memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman bagi guru-guru PAUD, serta memberikan bekal kemampuan untuk mengembangkan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam pembuatan media paper plate. Selain itu penggunaan paper plate juga diharapkan dapat mengurangi limbah barang sekali pakai.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka lebih memfokuskan pada Pendidikan karakter yang berlandaskan Pancasila melalui konsep Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi Guru-Guru PAUD di Kabupaten Karawang tentang penggunaan Practical Life Book untuk Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Dimensi Kemandirian. Practical Life Book merupakan buku panduan untuk Guru dan Orangtua dalam melatih anak usia dini untuk melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari agar lebih mandiri. Hasil pretest dari 11 pertanyaan menunjukkan bahwa 100 peserta perwakilan Guru PAUD belum pernah mendapatkan kegiatan sosialisasi practical life book khusus nya untuk penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dimensi kemandirian. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah saat menyampaikan materi, tentang kegiatan sehari-hari yang dapat dilakukan oleh anak untuk melatih keterampilan dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya sehingga dapat mandiri dan menolong dirinya sendiri. Selain itu, Metode tanya jawab serta posttest digunakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana peserta telah memahami dan mampu menguasai materi yang telah disampaikan. Hasil posttest menunjukkan sebanyak 70,5% guru PAUD akan mempraktekkan practical life book di kelas sedangkan 29,5% masih ragu-ragu mempraktekannya. Dengan begitu kegiatan sosialisasi ini memberikan kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan dalam menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada stimulasi keterampilan dimensi kemandirian.

Abstract

Teacher-led ball games have a significant impact on the enhancement of gross motor skills in early childhood students. The early childhood phase is a critical period for the development of these skills, and teachers play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. This article employs quantitative research methods to investigate how teacher-led ball games can influence the growth of gross motor skills in young children. The research also underscores the significance of structured games in supporting motor skill development and providing an enjoyable and effective teaching approach, particularly for young students. The study's findings highlight that teachers can serve as facilitators in nurturing the gross motor skills of young children through ball games. Early childhood motor skills are of utmost importance as they encompass aspects such as neural, muscular, and cognitive abilities. Additionally, the teaching methodology implemented by teachers fosters an engaging and captivating learning experience, capturing the enthusiastic participation of students in the classroom

Abstract

This research aims to explore the introduction of local wisdom values ​​in children aged 5-6 years through Rebo Nyunda activities at RA Sabilul Muttaqin, East Cikampek. Rebo Nyunda activities have been carried out for 3 consecutive years and continue to this day, routinely held once a week on Wednesdays. The aim of this activity is to introduce local wisdom values ​​to young children from a very young age. During the activity, children were introduced to various aspects of Sundanese culture and language through the introduction of Sundanese pupuh, regional songs, and Sundanese vocabulary. The introduction of regional languages ​​aims to improve regional language skills and enrich children's vocabulary. Apart from that, children were also introduced to traditional Sundanese games such as Snake Dragon, Rubber Jump, Hompimpa, Engkle, and Congklak, as well as the traditional tools used in these games. It is hoped that the introduction of local wisdom values ​​through Rebo Nyunda activities can shape the character of children who have high cultural awareness, respect their ancestral heritage, and have a sense of love for their homeland. The research results show that Rebo Nyunda activities have succeeded in creating an environment that supports the introduction and development of local wisdom values ​​in early childhood at RA Sabilul Muttaqin, East Cikampek.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the use of multifunction board media has on the ability to recognize the number symbols of children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Percontohan Plamboyan 3 Karawang Barat. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in the study were 54 students. Data collection tools used in this study were notes, number symbol recognition ability assessment instruments for pretest-posttest. Based on the results obtained from before being given treatment, the average value of children is 32.0 with the criteria starting to develop. While after using multifunction board media there is an increase from the average value of 32.0 to 51.7. By using the paired sample t test calculation that the tcount value is obtained 6.440 and the ttable is obtained 1.833 which means that the tcount value> ttable. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence in the use of multifunction board media on the ability to recognize number symbols of children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Based on observations of language development in early childhood which is less than optimal in expressive language abilities. This research aims to investigate and determine the influence of pop up book media to improve expressive language skills in children aged 3-4 years at KB Mawar VII Karawang. The development of expressive language includes being able to convey what children feel, telling stories about simple experiences with simple sentences and answering questions. In this writing, the author uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method by carrying out two cycles with a target result of 71%. This research is shown on children's expressive language abilities. In the pre-action, children's expressive language abilities obtained an average percentage score of 28.5%. Furthermore, when the first cycle of action was carried out, the child's expressive language abilities increased to reach a percentage value of 46.6%. It is known that there has been an increase in cycle I but has not yet reached the target. Therefore, the researchers carried out cycle II actions and in this action the children's expressive language abilities increased with a percentage value of 85.5%. This states that this research is said to be successful because it can achieve the expected targets.

Abstract

The ability to collaborate through the project method is one effort to stimulate learning that is done together. This research aims to improve cooperation skills through the project method in children aged 5-6 years in Ra Mathla'ul Anwar Telukambulu Karawang. In this writing, the author uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in 2 cycles. The results show that children's cooperation through this project method can improve well. It is known that in the pre-action period, children's cooperative abilities obtained an average value of 27.5%, then continued with action cycle I, which obtained an average value of 51.3%, showing improved results but not yet reaching the target and continued in cycle II which obtained the average value of 83.7% shows very good improvement results. Researchers assess that this research has achieved success because it has exceeded the predetermined limit of 75%.
