Abstract

Indonesia has a tropical climate, which results in potentially high temperatures and humidity. This condition requires every room to have an air conditioning system to ensure comfort during activities. The air conditioning equipment used is typically an air conditioner (AC). Global warming exacerbates these conditions. On the other hand, office buildings in BSD Techno Park generally have roofs made of zinc-galvanized material coated only with aluminum foil. To maintain comfortable room temperature and humidity, heat must be removed from the room, and this heat is referred to as the cooling load. This study focuses on analyzing the cooling load of split AC units for office rooms in BSD Techno Park. The goal is to determine the total cooling load and calculate the heat removed to establish the required cooling capacity. The average office room size is approximately 80 m². Activities typically take place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB. The calculated external cooling load is 4.042 m²/W. Thus, solar conduction through the roof (Q) is 554.04 Watts. Heat transfer through walls is 122.95 Watts, while the cooling load from glass is 118.97 Watts, from doors is 2.35 Watts, and from partition walls is 10.02 Watts. The heat generated by human activities inside the room is 2,255 Watts. Therefore, the grand total cooling load, or Effective Room Latent Heat (ERLH), is 2,558.86 Watts or 29,061.81 BTU/hr. Consequently, a split AC unit with a capacity of 2 PK and 1.5 PK, or equivalent BTU/hr, is able to meet the needs of people in a room and ensure office comfort. Abstrak: Indonesia memiliki iklim tropis sehingga berpotensi memiliki temperatur dan kelembapan udara yang sangat tinggi. Kondisi ini mengharuskan setiap ruangan memiliki sistem pendinginan udara agar nyaman digunakan untuk beraktivitas. Adapun peralatan pengkondisian udara (air conditioning) yang digunakan umumnya adalah AC. Pemanasan global membuat kondisi ini semakin parah. Di sisi lain, perkantoran yang berada di Taman Tekno BSD rata-rata memiliki atap berbahan seng galvanis yang hanya dilapisi aluminium foil. Untuk menjaga agar temperatur dan kelembapan udara ruangan berada pada kondisi nyaman, panas atau kalor harus dikeluarkan dari ruangan, dan besarnya kalor ini dapat disebut sebagai beban pendingin. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis beban pendingin pada AC split untuk ruangan perkantoran di Taman Tekno BSD. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui total beban pendingin dan menghitung kalor yang dibuang sehingga dapat ditentukan kapasitas pendinginan udara yang diperlukan. Ukuran ruangan perkantoran rata-rata memiliki luas 80 m². Kegiatan biasanya berlangsung pada pukul 10.00–16.00 WIB. Hasil penghitungan beban pendingin luar adalah 4,042 m²℃/W. Sehingga konduksi matahari melalui atap (Q) sebesar 554,04 Watt. Perhitungan kalor melalui dinding adalah 122,95 Watt. Sementara beban dari kaca sebesar 118,97 Watt, beban dari pintu sebesar 2,35 Watt, dan dari partisi pemisah sebesar 10,02 Watt. Adapun panas akibat aktivitas orang di dalam ruangan sebesar 2.255 Watt. Dengan demikian, grand total beban pendingin atau Effective Room Latent Heat (ERLH) adalah 2.558,86 Watt atau 29.061,81 BTU/hr. Maka penggunaan AC split yang memiliki kapasitas 2 PK dan 1½ PK atau setara BTU/hr direkomendasikan karena mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dan kenyamanan manusia di dalam ruangan perkantoran tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh tingkat pendidikan perempuan terhadap perubahan sosial dan pembangunan bangsa. Dalam konteks masyarakat yang masih diliputi oleh ketimpangan gender, pendidikan perempuan menjadi instrumen strategis untuk mendorong keadilan sosial dan memperkuat fondasi pembangunan. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain asosiatif, melibatkan 200 responden perempuan usia 20–45 tahun dari lima provinsi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner skala Likert lima poin. Hasil analisis Pearson menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan perempuan dengan indikator perubahan sosial (r = 0,685; p < 0,01). Analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan perempuan menjelaskan 25,2% variasi pada pembangunan sosial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi pendidikan yang dimiliki perempuan, semakin besar kontribusinya terhadap aspek kehidupan seperti partisipasi publik, kesehatan keluarga, penghasilan rumah tangga, dan keterlibatan dalam organisasi. Pendidikan menjadikan perempuan lebih kritis terhadap ketimpangan, lebih mandiri secara ekonomi, serta aktif sebagai agen perubahan dalam komunitasnya. Selain itu, perempuan terdidik cenderung memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap isu kesehatan, demokrasi, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Namun, tantangan seperti pernikahan dini, beban ganda, dan norma patriarkal masih menghambat akses pendidikan perempuan di banyak daerah. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini menjadi dasar penting bagi kebijakan afirmatif yang menjamin inklusivitas dan keberpihakan dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Pendidikan perempuan bukan hanya hak individual, tetapi investasi kolektif dalam menciptakan bangsa yang adil, sejahtera, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning integrated with coastal local wisdom, to assess students’ levels of practical understanding following the learning process, and to identify the dominant and non-dominant dimensions of that understanding. The study was conducted at a Nahdlatul Ulama–affiliated vocational secondary school located in Palang, Tuban, East Java, Indonesia, employing a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design. Data collection involved the administration of a conceptual test for quantitative analysis, which was analysed using descriptive statistics, as well as classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis for qualitative inquiry. The quantitative findings indicate that students achieved a high level of mastery in the cognitive dimension (Mean = 7.73; 77.3%), followed by the applicative dimension (Mean = 5.60; 56%). The reflective–affective dimension demonstrated the lowest level of mastery (Mean = 4.80; 48%). Qualitative findings reveal that the integration of coastal local wisdom into PAI learning has been implemented primarily at the conceptual and contextual levels, through the use of illustrations and narratives related to coastal life. However, this integration has not yet extended to the experiential and reflective levels. The composite analysis suggests that while students’ cognitive understanding is relatively strong, their reflective–affective understanding remains limited due to insufficient application of experiential learning approaches, reflectively oriented pedagogy, and authentic assessment practices. This study is limited by its focus on a single vocational secondary school and a relatively small sample size. Therefore, future research is recommended to involve broader educational contexts and to employ experimental or design-based research approaches in order to develop and test pedagogical models that emphasize experiential and reflective dimensions of PAI learning within coastal cultural settings.

Abstract

Introduction: Upper anterior inverted impaction were common condition affecting the anterior side of upper jaw due to traumatic condition on the period of early stage of tooth development (decidui stage). This condition were successfully managed to create un-erupted replacement tooth and to stepping back the condition onto the previous track, the intervention of occlusal retraction with ligature wire is necessary needed. Purpose: The aim of this study was to elaborate the orthodontic treatment with inverted impaction. Case: A boy aged of 11 years and 2 months was coming to the clinic with final diagnose of 21 with inverted impaction. Case management: Fixed edgewise orthodontic appliance were applied on incisivus until first molar upper jaw continued by impacted exposure surgery on 21 then followed by application of button at the surface of palatal side then connected by the wire. The appliance were activated each three weeks. After 17 months, the treatment were successfully created new inclination into 120 degree to the normal occlusion surface. The vitality test has been performed and show good result. Conclusion: A treatment of 21 withinverted impacted condition on the young boy of aged of 11 years and 2 months were manageable by fixed edgewise orthodontic appliance post exposure surgery with retraction of ligature wire.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the curriculum model of Ma'had Aly Iqna' Ath-Thalibin Sarang in the reproduction of ulama cadres, as well as to discover its implementation in learning. This research was conducted using a descriptive approach and a qualitative research design. The descriptive approach in the context of this research is used to seek and provide an overview of the form and implementation of the Ma'had 'Aly educational curriculum. This study employs several techniques, including non-participant observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. Data validity tests were conducted using triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis was performed interactively and continuously until the data was completed, according to Miles and Huberman. The research results indicate that Ma'had Aly Iqna' Ath-Thalibin Sarang integrates courses that are distinctive or specific to its major namely tasawuf, based on the reference of the Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation (PMA) which requires several general subjects. This curriculum is implemented using two learning strategies. That is, in the form of face-to-face and non-face-to-face. In the face-to-face format, the methods used are bandongan, sorogan, and mudzakaroh. Meanwhile, the non-face-to-face format is realized in the form of bahtsul masail, assignments, both individually and in groups. Overall, the implementation and evaluation framework at MAIT Sarang demonstrate a balanced approach between traditional Islamic pedagogy and modern academic standards, aiming to produce ulama who are intellectually competent, spiritually grounded, and socially responsible.
