Abstract

Neon Box merupakan media promosi atau informasi yang terbuat dari bahan akrilik dan dilengkapi dengan lampu neon yang memberikan efek cahaya terang dan menarik. Minimnya ketertarikan menjadi kader Program Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK), khususnya yang berusia muda, menjadi landasan pentingnya menyosialisasikan kegiatan di PKK. PKK bisa menjadi pihak di garda depan dalam mengatasi berbagai persoalan yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Selain itu juga dapat berkontribusi mengatasi masalah gizi anak, kesehatan anak dan stunting. Dengan tujuan dapat menarik perhatian warga dan membangun citra positif PKK khususnya di wilayah Griya Shanta RT 08 RW 12, Kel. Mojolangu, Kec. Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Neon Box menjadi sarana yang tepat untuk menyosialisasikan 10 Program PKK. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pembuatan Neon Box sebagai media promosi program PKK. Hasil yang telah dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah dapat terselesaikannya instalasi papan nama program PKK di Jalan Poros Griya Shanta RT 08 RW 12, Kel. Mojolangu, Kec. Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Kata kunci: Pengabdian pada masyarakat, Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga, Neon box.

Abstract

Excessive vibration in a system occurs when the force acting on a system is close to the natural frequency of the system. This vibration can be reduced by adding a dynamic vibration absorber (DVA) to the system. Several researchers have done a lot of research related to DVA and dual DVA (DDVA) placement in the main system. In this research, we conducted a study of the effect of DDVA-dependent addition on translational and rotational vibration responses in the 2-dof main system. This research was started by building a prototype of a 2 DOF vibration system without DDVA and with DDVA. From the prototype, equations of motion and block simulations were then made to determine changes in vibration characteristics that occur in the main system. From the research results it was found that the placement of the DDVA-dependent cantilever absorber at the end of the system with rI 1/10 was able to reduce the vibration of the main system with a percentage reduction at a frequency of 12.78 Hz of 94.1681% for the translation direction and 15.3878% for the rotation direction. Changes in the distance ratio and the inertia ratio of the absorber mass do not affect the DDVA-dependent ability to reduce vibrations in the translation direction.

Abstract

The growing demand for organic fertilizer calls for innovations in manure processing technology to enhance production efficiency and product quality. This study presents the design, fabrication, and performance evaluation of a prototype manure shredder–pulverizer that integrates dual shredding and pulverizing functions to accelerate the composting process and produce uniform particle sizes. The machine is powered by a 6.5 HP gasoline engine and tested using fresh goat manure with an average moisture content of approximately 70%. Performance evaluation focused on processing capacity, particle size distribution, specific energy consumption, and output homogeneity. The prototype achieved an average processing capacity of 96.4 kg/h, with more than 82.5% of the processed material passing through a 4 mm sieve and a dominant fraction of 2–4 mm (54.0%), which is ideal for composting. The specific energy consumption averaged 0.050 kWh/kg, lower than reported values for comparable small-scale biomass shredders. The homogeneity index consistently rated as Good, indicating stable particle size distribution across repeated trials. These findings demonstrate that the developed prototype provides a practical, energy-efficient, and low-cost solution for small-scale organic fertilizer production, supporting sustainable agricultural practices and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers.

Abstract

Desa Lebakharjo Kecamatan Ampelgading Kabupaten Malang memiliki kondisi geografis berbukit dengan banyak tikungan tajam yang meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar pengelasan masyarakat melalui pelatihan Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Kegiatan ini juga memfasilitasi pembuatan dan pemasangan tiang cermin jalan pada titik rawan kecelakaan serta membangun dasar pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui keterampilan pengelasan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, pelatihan, pemasangan cermin jalan, serta evaluasi kepuasan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dengan N-Gain 0,61 (kategori sedang–tinggi). Penilaian praktik menunjukkan aspek posisi elektroda, kerapian las, dan kepatuhan terhadap K3 berada pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik. Pemasangan cermin jalan dilakukan secara gotong royong pada lokasi rawan kecelakaan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan teknis masyarakat sekaligus memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap keselamatan lalu lintas dan peluang pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui pengembangan usaha las komunitas.
